On the original merchant center, I was able to disable shipping for clients who do not offer ecommerce. I cannot find where to disable shipping on next. If I don't have a shipping property created, it seems to generate an error implying that I have to have shipping. But many of my clients do not. Any tips?
Hey @deepakkumawat2023 Google Shopping is oriented towards physical products (and some digital downloads), so Google doesn't allow advertising for most services. You can check out their full list of Shopping content policies here: support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150006. Great question! Automatic price updates is a good feature and is something we recommend using if your website is not powered by Shopify. If your website is powered by Shopify, we recommend not using Automatic price updates because we've seen that actually cause problems and discrepancies in the product data, and when we've addressed this with Shopify support, they have recommended to us that we keep Automatic price updates turned off.
@@thegadsspecialist Shopify told us this during conversations with their support team. They did not provide a link to a written document, they just recommended to us during our conversations with them to turn off that feature.
@Agrail Login to Google Merchant Center Next, click on the Gear icon near the top right-hand corner of the page, then select Data sources, then click on the name of the feed, then click Your attribute rules. Note: We're not yet seeing the "Your attribute rules" option in all GMC Next accounts, and are asking Google why.
@Agrail We found the answer! When you're logged into GMC Next, click on the "Gear" icon towards the right-hand corner, then click "Add-ons", then under "Advanced data source management" click "Add". That will turn on the features in the Data sources area for you to add supplemental data sources and to add rules to your primary data sources.
Great ❤
