Thanks for the feedback on my track "The Key" Jon! While it definetly marked an improvement in my producing from beginner to intermediate, I know I have a lot of learning to do before I become advanced. Thanks again!
I see it a lot in videos of producers, where they make a plugin and pitch down all oscilators 2 octaves for instance. Why would you do that when you can just change the note input to 2 octaves down?
Hey Jon, quick request, would you please pass me the link for the fut mag article? Tried looking for it but no luck. Thanks in advance and thanks for the vid!
Hey Jon. Please forgive me for bothering you about this. I don't have any social network accounts so I don't know how else to contact you. I don't know how to find where to send this charger. Please get back to me. Thanks.
Don't you feel you are diverting from your original strength that is deep house ?? Your previous records were mind blowing but these future bass stuff are sounding similar and boring. This isn't a complaint or discouragement but I just want the original JON SINE to be back :(
hi all, here is another video that covers the topic of arrangement as it relates to getting a good mix. highly recommended....enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/G8lFAaANnhs/v-deo.html
It takes time to develop your ears. Jon makes some good choices in choosing sounds that work well together, so his compressor settings and EQ are definitely pretty subtle. If you are having a hard time hearing things like reverb and EQ in your own projects you should try exaggerating the effects and then pulling them back to normal levels so you can really get a sense of what they are doing. TL;dr Just keep doing it and you will start to notice these small subtle changes eventually
One of your best videos ever. Great and simple content. Thumbs up.
I haven't watched your videos in a week. It's felt like months. Glad to be back 😁

I agree that most important things in a song are writing the melody and choosing the right samples
