How to play a native american flute (Echo Sound)

- In this video I'm showing how to make the echo sound effect using a native American flute. Please watch it carefully, try to create the same sound effect and don't forget to practice again and again. The flute that I'm using is in key of G, Thank you.

While Vibrato is a very good musical technique, it IS NOT called "Echo" by anyone, ever.
An echo is a repeat of a sound that is NOT played, such as off of a canyon wall. With modern effects it is also called Delay. Delay is often a good effect to use on Instruments and/or vocals, but again, what you're doing is NOT Delay (aka Echo).
I'm commenting here because your incorrect terminology will be very confusing to anyone learning, if not embarrassing to them, if they call Vibrato "Echo" to another Musician.

I’m pretty new to the flute. This video was very helpful to me as I was doing a similar thing in my throat, but the ‘ wavering ‘ sound was much faster. Not that my way was wrong, but adding your slower waver from the belly is good too and gives me another method.
I too use this technique. Check out the corn song variation I used for the dapl, protectors of water.

He is a Native American from Meso-America/South American cause of his name is in spanish plus his accent is different from Northern Natives but Hair is still the same.

If we compared a Native American group to an Asian counterpart group based on ancient Civilization I would think of them like this.
Inca(Qeuchua/Aymara)=Japanese
Olemec=Korean
Mayan=China
Aztec=Vietnam
Plains Native Americans=Mongolia
i play at the pow wows here in montana i have never seen anyone play echo like u do and honestly so much easier very well done

I bought a flute from Jose about a year ago in Auburn Ca. I love it, and have gotten much better at playing. I highly recommend his flutes.

this technique works really well on the hand ocarina. I'll post a vid of the sounds you can create using only air and your hands.
