He was underwater for 15 - 20 minutes before he was saved and brought back to life. He shares an incredible experience of going to the light and being surrounded by love. He felt like he was “home”. It transformed him from a brash young man who didn’t mind stepping on toes to get what he wanted to the thoughtful, caring, and kind man he is today.

"I grew up in a dysfunctional childhood...." That seems to be the story for most of us. The whole world seems to be suffering from left-over childhood trauma.
Yes. Sadly it is way too common. I am so sorry for what you have been through. I hope there stories help to heal your heart.
I heard his story on a different channel a while back. But I must say, Heather, your channel is among the best out there because of, well, you. The questions you ask and the answers and responses that you evoke out of your guests make this channel what it is. You are so patient and concise in what you do. It really brings out the best in people. On another note, upon hearing well over 100 NDE’s, I have no doubt of their validity. Every single one is unique, sure, but they all have similarities too. Not only that, why would anyone want to make something like this up? It just makes no sense. So when I see comments of listeners disregarding the validity of these stories, it can really bring out the worst thoughts in me. But I’m getting better, becoming more patient, and it’s all because of channels like yours. One might say, I’m becoming an overall better human because of listening to your channel. That is nothing to shrug your shoulders at! So, thank you for what you’re doing. You (and of course your guests) are truly making a difference in this world. Bless your heart. 💚

After reviewing NDEs for over two years now, this is the first time I have seen David. I generally don't make negative comments, but I do almost always praise the ones that really stand out. This is a great testimony! I'm also starting to see that many of these people were in a state that needed a wake-up call or "spiritual slap" for lack of a better term. When I worked my job in technical, my boss told me to stop using so much technical jargon that regular people do not understand, that was good advice, you should take this advice

@@stickyicky669 Regarding being on a boat in the water, I dropped off in the middle of your story, and that is when I remember what my boss told me a long time ago, when it gets like that, I tune out, I have heard a lot of NDE stories, so very good, some not.

Technical jargon? I didn't even notice...so apparently it didn't take anything away from the story--which was fascinating.
I think David told his story beautifully in his own style. I think we all need to be open that these NDErs who come on my podcast are individuals with individual styles, personalities, perspectives and experiences.

Yes they have differences as we would expect in an infinite world of possibilities but the similarities are pretty incredible and convincing!
