This talk really exemplifies the age old axiom of spiritual wisdom, which is to "look within". He did not consult another, an authority, a book or religion. Rather he honestly allowed the inner wisdom within himself to speak to him. And as it spoke, he chose to listen deeply. The result being he now holds something deep, universal, and authentic to guide him, as well as to share with others. Very inspirational indeed.

    • @chrisweiland2251
      @chrisweiland2251 Рік тому +2

Inspirational if you are completely without logic, rationale and critical thinking. He told you what he remembers from a dream state, nothing more. He consulted his years of being raised religious, and that is what his mind used to try to make sense of what stimuli his brain had. "Allowed the inner wisdom within himself to speak to him"....in other words, his mind created a dream state, and he tried to make sense of it\...no wisdom there, talking to himself in essence. Dream interpretation by the untrained is hardly wisdom.

@@zardoz7900 I have. Unconfirmable stories. As the people are still alive, they can still hear. Their minds make whatever sense they can of whatever stimuli. People that are experiencing a NDE are not dead. It doesn't give any credence to the idea that there is any "spiritual" anything, or supernatural anything. People's minds will make up a great deal of things, and others will take tiny bits of coincidence and read volumes into them,. That doesn't make those coincidences evidence of any psychic anything. I am glad your NDE was without dying. My son who did just recently pass from brain cancer had an NDE the first time he went to surgery for his first tumor. Everyone just passed it off as a silly dream while being put under but it started when he went into the elevator going to the operating room. I had heard a similar one from my Uncle who did die on the operating table when he was in a horrific car accident. It started out the same. I'm sure many can relate to this one he described. "Start by allowing choices to unfold naturally. Wait as long as you can before choosing to allow other possibilities to fully mature". It took me (and I'm still working on it) until my late 40's to realize that I always jumped and made choices before I allowed others to unfold naturally. This was due to FOMO or fear of failure. It's weird that if i look back at some choices I made out of fear or impulse, other possibilities came forward that I could have taken advantage of if I would have just been more patient. This is a lot easier said than done, because how do you know it's been long enough. But just food for thought

This life is school. Tests are measures of how far we have come and how far we need to grow. Diamonds are the result of great pressure. Sand is the result of many waves. The brain “explains” but the spirit simply sees. Everything works together for good in spite of our mental meanderings. Love is all there is. Pain is due to our lack of insight and trust. God is perfect thus so are we. Pain in this life is due to our erroneous conclusions. All unfolds in perfection. At the end of our journey - love is all there is. Shalom

I liked the emphasis on responsibility. I often wonder why my life is often terrible, and why god doesn't help me. If I'm honest, it's definitely my own bad choices. Just going to live more quietly and humbly from now on, and try to quit smoking as well as continue to not drink. Also, I'm going to pray for my father instead of focus on the anger and bitterness I hold towards him. This reminded me of the value in Christian deportment and attitude towards others. You can't be hateful towards someone you are actively praying for, and not having that bitterness relieves me of alot of negativity. It reminded me that even if I'm living with the consequences of my actions, I can still have a positive influence on others through humility. It reminded me of the Christian way, of walking faithfully and humbly before god, owning the consequences of our own actions, and not blaming god or expecting rewards other than our deeds deserve (Micah 6:8, etc)

    11:09 -
And it said, "Your destiny has to fit itself around futures that aren't meant to be."
    [Whew!]
"Your number of breaths are already counted. *I* will worry about your last one."
    11:22 - It said,
"Eliminating bad choices doesn't mean you won't make wrong ones.
You won't *know* they are wrong until after they pass, since right and wrong are variable, over which you have no control.
*The answers to what come tomorrow are a waste.*
Better is understanding the beauty of how everything fits, and refits, together."
"Basically telling me to have faith in the Grand Design."
    ....
    11:52, - It said,
"What is clearly before you, Grace -- no one deserves salvation -- it can only be given by Grace. It is your birthright, but it must be chosen, *at the expense of the world that separates us*.

[Sorry this got a little long; it's a good q...]
No, I don't think so at all. It's almost like the opposite. There are many possible future paths that our lives could take. And we help decide which future is lived out & how it is lived out.
There are some future paths among those possible, which fit us better, are more authentic, or are more fulfilling for ourselves and/or for others. I'd say these are the intended, life-giving destinies. But we have to choose them for them to become fully alive.
I see these more authentic, possible futures as the "destiny" that "has to fit itself around" contrary, or less authentic future paths.
It's on us individually, and on others' choices too, to determine our path and the character that our path will have.
We can help determine & set out to make it so that the more authentic and life-giving future paths come into existence--for ourselves AND for the others whom we impact. Our actions & heart-desires impact others' futures as well. And our inner & outer choices in each small moment--by what we cling to, by where we set our heart--will grow this.
And, while making the best heart decisions we can, with where we're at in the moment--we can simultaneously have an inner rest, and trust in the "Grand Design" and appreciate the beauty of "how everything fits, and refits, together".... ♡
      .....
May all good, loving, authentic, life-giving things come to you. ♡♡♡

Don't ask what you should do for a living, but ask what makes me happy and feel engaged.

This is something I can get behind. Far too often, I see people discuss their spirituality, and you can tell there’s an ego attached to it. Now we all have ego, and ego isn’t always bad because without ego (or better word persona) we wouldn’t be able to function in this world.
But that being said, many people preach and swear about how they’ve been enlightened and they wear the trinkets and dress in a form in which it projects to the world that they are spiritual or wise. It to me at least, is simply something of a layer that’s cleverly hidden behind subconscious, tricking an individual that they have made it. Instead, I look to words, and behavior.
This man looks like any other man, he’s not using infused spiritual jargon, he’s not smiling and acting all positive. He’s not behind a carefully constructed nature scenery or stained window glass back drop, just an average man, speaking his truth and experience, and his words and reflections have power and wisdom.

My burning question is, the ‘god’ that everyone meets when they die, is this entity mistakenly thinking that it is the supreme creator of the totality of the known universe? Check out the Wikipedia articles on ‘Mahabrahma’ and ‘Buddhist cosmology’.
According to Buddhist Cosmology Mahabrahma was the first entity born into the Brahmaloka. And being the first one there, and forgetting it’s past life in the higher realm, it thought it was the creator. So essentially, we all may think we’re meeting a supreme ‘God’, and even the entity we meet is thinking it is the supreme ‘God’, but that may not be true.
I am concerned we may all be bound for rebirth no matter where we go after life on earth. We need transparency above all.
I am challenging myself to cultivate better control over my thoughts, cultivate loving kindness, compassion and empathy. So when I meet entities after death I can respectfully inquire about the truth of existence.
There may be a higher truth that entities we meet after death may not know of. Stay awake and stay curious 🙏🏼

no choices are wrong, because you make the rules, just make the conscious choice to believe that absolutely everything works in your favor, and absolutely everything will always work in your favor, he didn't get it, it was not about the choices, it's all about the guilt people feel about those choices, this man was feeling guilty for choices he hadn't even made, he was afraid of his future, the gear was his life review and he had to confront his fear of his future choices, he didn't fully get it

Strange, you give me the sad impression that eternal life is cold and devoid of love .

    • @wolf7379
      @wolf7379 Рік тому +1

Precisely! That is exactly the impression I got from his experience which is why I did not find his story comforting. I do NOT believe eternal life is cold and devoid of love.
I believe his mind or consciousness created the environment according to his beliefs, emotions or level of development. Notice that he has a technical and analytical mind. He likes data and constructing things. A mind that is more detached, logical and unfeeling, perhaps. Hence, when his consciousness leaves the body, it will create the mental environment that is suited to his character or mental state of mind. That is why his mind or consciousness created scenes of moving gears etc.
Other NDE experiencers who are at a more spiritual level will experience love and light. In another NDE account, he liked computers and he saw his life review coming from computer screens. Or if you are more religious minded and believe in heaven and hell, a NDE experiencer went through hellish experience and when he could take no more he cried out for God or Divine Consciousness for help and immediately light opened up for him.
Your state of mind will more or less dictate the initial experience. This does NOT mean that Love, Light and Divine Source of God does not exist as the ultimate reality. But it may happen that if you were not a believer in God and your life on Earth was very materialistic and you did many actions that were considere bad or evil, then when your consciousness leaves the body it will create the environment that is empty and void of love and light. It only takes a thought to change your circumstances.
Sorry, but his account just left me cold. His consciousness produced the experience that was needed for him that he could relate to. Whereas others who found they lacked love in life and were sensitive souls will find that God or Divine Spirit or Divind Consciousness will send in the Being of Light and wrap them in Love to remind them they are loved and give them comfort.
