Just spent a lovely Sunday afternoon catching up with your recent vlogs and binge watching past ones, always a pleasure to watch. A bit late , but Happy New Year and all the best for 2024 ! Looking forward to future travels! Take care x
Our son uses auto glym products and his cars look super clean and shiny after use, now our motorhome is no longer in its youth 1996, i actually use zepp floor polish which beads what seems like for ever, the plastic well they are hard to keep permanently black as they are so old now, but for newer vehicles autoglym does look a very good product, another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍
hi stephen i’ve struggled over the years to find a permanent “back to black” product , the gel i use at work is much better than any spray on but even the gel , after a while and a few downpours , will show the streaks again , i’ll have to have a look at that floor polish zepp 👍 thanks again for watching have a good week mike & kirsty
Hi Mike, we like auto Glyn for our car. Have never tried it on the motorhome. There is always time ha ha. Great video and tips. Take care x Julie and Tony x
Thanks for making me ashamed of the state of my caravan. I think I need a trip to the local Auto shop for some cleaning products lol. Thanks for the shout out and stay safe. Hope to see you out there👍
We use the aqua wax on the GRP panels on the motorhome and the shine is amazing. Vinyl and rubber care is best used on inside panels in our opinion. The the outside we use gel like you do 😊x
Hi ya Mike and Kirsty. Yeah humidity is a problem in this country. Train room can't get it below 70% caravan got that down to the 50%s. Got a nice bottle of prosecco for you if you want to come and get my black estate car as shiny as yours.😁 Look after yourselves guys. Pete and Su.
interesting to know about the train room would never have imagined that but makes sense , black cars ! 😱 , like my white van , shows every mark , well actually with black you can get away with a bit more i reckon , 1 puddle with a white car / van and that’s it 😂 hard work gone to pot ! cheers pete & su have a good week
hi trev and sue happy new year to you both , can’t beat a good ol cleaning video i should do more i agree , but filming sat in the van eating or walking the dogs is so much easier 😂😂👍 all the best mike & kirsty
You need to put the cork under the wiper arm not the wiper blade as you will leave a permanent distortion to the blade meaning the blade will not clean the screen correctly.
You can do our van when you ready lol that was so smooth ive used auto glym before on other caravans and cars when on holiday nice one sir happy new year to you both crack on
Word of warning parking on grass is the main reason for condensation and also the vans undersides will suffer from moisture leading to rust, my local MOT garage has shown me what happens and I was truly shocked.
Auto Glym stuff is very good but very expensive! Hate to think how much that kit would have cost! I would be worried about cleaning lower half of your car especially splashed areas behind wheels because of grit! Bound to scratch the paint but the fluid masking it! But certainly look the biz! We used to use Autosmart Tango polish which you could use on a fairly clean car, doing a Reclean, it was quick and easy!
i remember the tango polish ! wonder if they still sell it , yes i reckon that kit would be expensive to buy , it just sat in he’s garage for a few years cheers pete
Hi Mike and Kirsty. Happy New Year to you. I agree with ianstockwell3825,. The corks do a better job under the arm of the wipers. I put mine longways ( on end ) away from the screen, which prevents the entire wiper blade touching the screen and doesn't leave impressions in the rubber blade. I'd be interested to know, if possible, which gel you use for the vinyl/plastic trims. The stuff I've been using is useless. I trust you enjoyed your roast dinner! Cheers, Rob.
hi rob yes thanks really enjoyed the roast thanks 😂 , i’ll have to make a point of putting the corks under the wiper arm from now it makes total sense , we are due a delivery of my valeting gear i use at work i’ll let you know the name of the one i use i can’t think of it 👍
As a Pro Valeter how would you advise me to be able to get a good shine on my Vans paintwork, its a LWB Iveco Daily 2015 colour Maranello Red, its in good condition but needs a good polish, I tried T cut that didn’t work. Any advice would be appreciated Cheers John
Hi john , hard to say without actually seeing it but can’t beat a good buff with an electric mop (buffer) & compound , i’ve always used G3 or 3M fast cut , not cheap but decent compounds both popular products but to be honest it takes experience to use a buffer so wouldn’t recommend if you’ve never done it before , you can burn right through your paint , i’d find a local valetors or a mobile one to come to you maybe 👍
Every man in the world knows to really get the shine wet look on a car... Theres one product is all you need and everyone can afford it. Dude, drive your car in the rain.

yeah it’s shocking how fast it can spread , luckily i can park it at work a lot on tarmac a major bonus.
A very happy new year to you both hope you are well and had a good Christmas, when do you think you will be out again ? Maz and Stu .

What moisture catchers are those? - mine are still empty after a month although there is some condensation in the van.
those are the unibond ones , mine were empty for the first week then started to fill
Hi Mike, could you please tell me what gel you use at work for your plastic trims rather than spray? Much appreciated 👍👍
