Does it get any better, driving a GTR on Fuji in Japan? I know the canyons will be great with friends and all, but the opportunity to use that car on the track it was made for is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Brother why don’t you get the interior trimmed with black alcantara? And you can get a few skyline parts for the dash as well that’s been damaged while you’re in Japan.

i have a ev1 spec r currently in japan but process of getting it shipped to the states (c-west kit but have aero option bumper, skirts, nismo wing, nismo cluster, option b blue seats and canards, yashio exhaust) and other minor stuff

If it were me, I would jump on a GR Yaris as a Japan car. You're not really going to find as good of a car for the price.

And just so you know Larry, your paint is only original once.... I would've highly suggested to try to get paint correction first before respraying, it's yours though, if it were mine, I'd have just bought a white one 😅
Paint correction isn't going to recover paint that's faded and uv damaged.

Larry, please get yourself a Chaser/JZX100/110 for your new in-Japan car. It will be less expensive but can still be made classy and if you beat it up parts will be cheap. Then in a few years import it to the states and I promise to buy it from you! 😃
Wow man, what an experience that is so dope driving a legit jdm r34 on fuji. Love your content! Honestly the only reason i subscribed to haggerty was because of Larry Chen. On a side note… it’s really odd how similar the landscape looks to my region in California, and they’re the only nation in the world that has coastal redwoods similar to the ones up in my hometown, or region lol. So beautiful I can’t wait to visit Japan.
Good call going back to Tommy for the bay. I’ve seen like 5 bays that he’s done and they’re hands down the best look for these cars until you get up to crazy time attack builds.
