Oh man I needed this video so much!! I have been adding cleaning and decluttering my kitchen to my weekly list for months and every week it still doesn't get done. I am going to watch this and try my hardest to get it all done today and tomorrow! Thankfully I have a small kitchen so there is not near as much to do as you had! Thank you so so SOOO much for this!!

Hi Michelle,I knew exactly where your story was going, I experienced the moths about 15 years ago, it wasn’t that bad, but I did the same thing you did, the traps worked great. Happy New Year your family.

Hi Amanda 👋🏾 Wow loved today's video. I love how your room is coming together. My favorite part has to be the shelves and the decor. It's such a vibe and I'm totally digging it 😍 Have a beautiful week!!

I had a pantry moth invasion. It was bad! My flour bag was the main culprit. A friend suggested to get dixie cups (or small disposable applesauce or yogurt cups) put a small squirt of dish detergent and some apple cider vinegar in and stir it up. (I never put more than 1 1/2 tablespoons of ac vinegar and a little bit of liquid soap in them) Sit them anywhere you see the moths, gnats or flying pests. They get lured in by the apple scent and the dish detergent coats their wings so they cant fly back out. Its amazing how many you can get! It took a while for this to thin the herd so to speak, but it completely got everything cleared up with just stuff i had anyway! Dont stop checking and redoing as needed. It will work, just be patient! Lol Keeping stuff disposable was the way to go for sure! Things could get gross, so i tossed them! 😬 Love your channel!! 😊

Hi. I found on goggle if you freeze your flour prior to storing it that will help with pantry moths. Also I work in produce if you store citrus ie: limes and halos in the fridge they will last much longer.

My best hint for cereal is when you open a box of cereal to use it, after you get out what you want, transfer the remaining cereal out of the bag it's in to a zip lock bag.
Get out as much air as you can and work that zipper bag back into your cereal box.
Pantry moths can develop in dry cake mixes, gravy mixes, pancake mixes, flour, or in dry dog food that has grain in it.
    Or is a dry mix.
    Also rice crispy cereal.
Even seen them in crunch candy bars.
If an infestation is bad, throw out all pantry items. But canned goods or things sealed tight in zipper bags. But check everything.
Clean pantry well, and start over.
    I hate those bugs!
But thanks for information on moth traps. Didn't know they had them.😉

I see you really could use a side table for some of your table decor instead of putting it in the kitchen because that seems to be your hardest to organize...

From long experience, the turntables are NOT efficient. So where you need to store a lot of product (such as medicine cabinet) in a limited space, you waste too much space on the round concept. I only have turntables in a few places in my homes because it just doesn't efficiently use space in square cabinets with square products. As far as medicine cabinet, I've tried different things but I think I have it down pretty much. I use square boxes with lids and handles. All are labeled. My husband still can't find what he wants because apparently he can't read labels, LOL. Pain meds like aspirin, motrin, ibuprofein, BC powders go in one. The boxes are large enough to hold the large bottles of these that you buy at Costco. I have a box for cold meds like Mucinex, cough syrup, sore throat spray, etc. I have large box for wound care such as all the bandaids, bandages, ointments, sprays, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Hibiclens, gloves, tourniquet, etc. It takes a large box for the bottles of hydrogen peroxide and alcohol. I use a large box stomach meds like antacid, Pepto Bismol, Kaopectate (miracle antidiarrheal for people and dogs not cats), antinausea. Again, it takes a large enough box to hold the large bottles. Then I bought a large thing at TJ Maxx with large plastic drawers and that 's what I put RX meds in and label the drawers. For MY daily meds (and there are no children in the home), I use a plastic craft storage box with little dividers like for beads. I got the one with the permanent dividers NOT the movable dividers. I dropped the box one day, the lid stayed shut but the meds still went everywhere within the box because of the movable dividers. That was a 30 min job to get the meds separated again. So when I purchase my daily meds, I empty them in the box. Everything is labelled. Then I throw out old bottles and put the new empty bottles in a plastic bin so I can access the RX# for re-order next time. You could snap pictures with your cell phone and then throw the empty bottles out. But then I would have to find the old photos and delete them and it's been easier to keep the empty bottles. This has helped me stay on track with taking my meds. I just pull out my plastic box, open the lid, pull out what I need to take. No opening multiple bottles every day. No having to divvy out into daily pill boxes. For my vitamins, I have a small dorm room/camper style refrigerator. I keep that in my master closet next to my master bathroom. At times I've kept it in my master bathroom. But I take all my vitamins in the morning. I want to try and do my vitamins in a plastic craft storage box like my RXs but there are too many and they are too big. So, as of now, they are still in their bottles which means, inefficiently, I'm opening multiple bottles every morning. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs. So I have plastic drawers for their meds. Heartworm, flea and tick, RXs. I need enough to hold things and to hold them with labeling. If I'm having to sift through stuff to find what I'm looking for then it's not efficient.

1:41:00 you can sell the phones that have been erased for a cheaper price to electronic stores or phone collectors etc and get some money off of the sales and use that money to buy your kids some stuff or give them as Christmas money.
