Hi... can you explain on the coupling. My machine did not spin in high speed. I did tighten the belt due to abit loose but no effect. Than i check the coupling but find it ok after turning the coupling due to faced locking feeling. After freeing it, run the machine and find the spinning is now at high speed. FYI

There are washing machines with no belt. These are called Direct Drive System on which the motor shaft is directly attached to the spinner assembly. It is commonly used in front load washing machines but there’s just a few in top load washing machine models.
