Dr. Brace talks Otoplasty

Otoplasty is a procedure to reshape the ears. This is sometimes called pinna plasty. In most cases the ear has not formed the anti helical food and looks ‘sprung’ outward.
Otoplasty surgery can be done under local anesthetic and either incisionless or with an incision on the back of the ear.
Dr. Brace performs otoplasties with an incision as it adds an extra level of pull and allows the ear position to be secured.
