F Fuentes Thermites work quite well against us, too. E.O.D. doesn’t save you, which makes complete sense, and the only way to survive one is to stim, but it requires perfect timing, which I have only managed to do once.
I like that the riot shield is a solid selection and the molotovs/rpg is a direct counterbalance... pretty sweet

Semtexes are really good against them too, a lot of times I've gotten multi kills because they get scared and retreat, blowing up another teammate
JaSK those are rookie riots shielders, an experienced one would face directly into a wall when they are stuck and completely negate the Semtex. Molies are way more reliable.

Hardest gold to get in the game by far, so easily countered, there's a lot of bugs with it too, getting head shot directly through it is always fun
Why a Semtex is a bad counter to a Riot Shield:
1) They can block the explosion of one stuck on their shield if they run into a wall shield first
2) If they swap weapons, the dropped shield will have the grenade on it and the explosion will delay for up to *2* seconds

Semtex if you stick is a guaranteed kill which is pretty easy to manage against Riot Shielders.

Not really, I use the shield and if the entire team spams molotovs and thermites, then I just dodge them. If that doesn’t work, I just suck it up and accept the loss.

Been using the molotov to counter shields since the beta..its the easiest way and they'll usually stop using then after 2 rounds or so

Thermite is way worse than molotovs. You can survive a molotov, you can't survive Thermite.
Either way, for a Riot Shielder; thats a win for us. If you're using your utility on us, you aren't using it on our teammates.
Riot Shields are not about big killstreaks; they are about creating a distraction.
What if they run that eod or battle harden which ever lets you take less flame damage. I ran into a duo in snd and they were running both with a rocket launcher secondary. We threw cocktails at them c4 and shot rpgs and they wouldn’t die. Just had that little shield symbol pop up. It was on shoot house too.

Use thermite shrapnel restock waayyy better then rpg I myself use shield and even though I can live through a thermite those are the hardest ones to survive from even with eod you have to stim as soon as it happens or milliseconds before very hard to counter and if you have shield thermite could kill a large group especially hc

The thermites are better as they stick to the shield compared to trying to just spread fire with the Molotov. I use them in hc and it's an instant kill and in core it's a riot shield niggas worse nightmare.

Yeah I'm a knifer and I play search and destroy a lot. By the time I would be moltoved while trying to use a combat knife/riot shield on you I would have just switched to guns

Not a fan of these shield and gun lads. The sword and board is the way to go. Combat knife, Throwing Knife, Shield. Put the shield on your back to protect against the craven.

Another mistake is Shields have is NO E.O.D when they have 725’s as their secondary. Killing with Explosives is very easy or just Molotov or thermite them and put on EOD yourself

I'm a shield main 1000+ kills with knives and about 400 with the shield itself, I don't use it cuz I don't know how to use other gun which I do as any other person who has ever played a CoD game and this is how it should be if you go against one of us just bring out the counters.
I had a game where the enemy team was raging so bad over my use of the shield that I went out of my way and said "equip semtex or molotovs"
And the guys on their team basically said "why should we change the game we have fun just to deal with you" to which I responded "then why do I need to change the way I have fun to please you?" Let's all just play the game and accept that not every game will go your way
Thermite is fun as well
