Zakharova is too in love with herself to be convincing in this role! Bolle is giving her a lot, emotionally, but she dances alone.

I love Svetlana but Ashton's Marguerite is not for her. The only dancer who can give justice to this role is Tamara Rojo. But Svetlana's Marguerite in John Neumeier is achingly beautiful. ♥

I don't like pretend violence in any dance. I know it's integral to the story but I guess I'm nervous that someone will really get hurt or perhaps I just don't like any story with physical violence. Saw enough of it in my job. Want ballet to be beautiful .
