I found Cas telling Dean he loved him wasn't romantic. He was telling Dean he LOVES HIS SOUL. Absolute Uncompromising & Unconditional Love! That's why he was so happy & why the Empty took him. (Because of Covid we didn't get to SEE his return. But we know through Bobby that he's there....somewhere. Possibly in the body of a hot blonde this time)! Covid really screwed us out of a lot in the end of SPN.
I got curious and searched and Misha (Cas) himself said it was romantic.
"During DLCon, Misha Collins (and some other members of the cast of Supernatural) talk about Castiel's confession of love to Dean in the latest episode, and he confirms it was not brotherly, but it was intended as an "homosexual declaration of love" and is surprised people still think it's brotherly, since they tried to make very clear it was not"
-Found that online
@@koolchaos7 Be that as it may, the whole Destiel thing was getting tiresome/annoying for the fans who WEREN'T focused on shipping every single character all the freakin' time. I'm personally glad they finally nipped it in the bud/killed it off for good.
Came to the comments to write this (the first bit, anyway).
@@koolchaos7well, I find this disappointing, as completely out of left field, in terms of characterisation. It is easy to piece together why Cas would love Dean, in a brotherly way, from his behaviour in the show. It is a huge leap for this to make sense as a homosexual desire. Cas is like a brother to the boys, and he treats them with more kindness and curtesy as the series progresses - going from a “robot” in earlier episodes, to almost human towards the end.
@@Wolf359inc oh I actually agree that I never saw him treat Dean as anything other than a brother too, heck it's been a while but I remember they were fighting more than getting along the last several seasons that made a romance, let alone a full blown love confession definitely out of left field!
Seen the title and instantly thought "Arrow, Oliver Queen and Felicity"! I hate how it went off to magic land lol. But the 1st season and the absolute great performance of Deathstroke by Manu Bennett in the 2nd season 👏
You guys need a different title for this video lol
"10 times show creators tried and failed" is more fitting
The Destiel bit felt like queen batimg to a lot of people. It seems to happen a lot. A will-they-won't-they that was confirmed only for one or both of the pairing to be killed very shortly after. That was the biggest upset about it.
Listening to a small noisy batch of unhinged shippers at all would be stupid.
Dean and Sam are straight. Cope and seethe, then move on.
@@jaeusa160 Well, Dean AT FIRST identified as bi; though that did quickly change to him being straight. Hell, they even addressed the obsession with shipping (to some degree) in 'The French Mistake'. lol
Buffy\Angel Lucifer\Chloe best tv couple's
Look im not a massive shipper or anything but the one that always should have hapend is Megstiel!
Oh Clarence....
yes! I loved Meg
I learned that from the pizza man
@@MelchVagquest A+ to you ;)
Now THAT I can definitely agree with. lol
My favorite TV couple is John Crichton/Aeryn Sun from "Farscape". Nuff said.
I’ve seen the Vampire Diaries start to finish more times than I care to count. Delena was endgame. It’s just a fact.
South Park: One For the Ladies.
I’ve wanted an episode featuring THE LADIES of South Park for the longest time. For them to give me what I wanted but make it the most GROTESQUE EPISODE THEVE EVER DONE was honestly genius.
That episode pisses me off tho 😂
Best couple. The waitress and Charlie... and Dennis... and Frank and so on
As soon as Oliver fell off the cliff when Ras Al Ghul stabbed him, the shows quality went off with him
I'm sorry but I loved the way they handled Sherlock. I thought it fit very well.
Wait... Castiel had romantic feelings for Dean? How did I miss that? I figured it was like a brother thing
It honestly could easily be taken that way however Misha Collins officially confirmed it was a confession of romantic love and mentioned how it fell into the bury your gays trope. I think he apologized to or more accurately sympathized with fans it upset given it wasn’t his choice.
@tempusspiritus appreciate the background on that!
@@DanWMiller Yeah...he did confirm it; but I don't think Dean ever RETURNED the feeling that way.
it was a brother thing, but wokies have to try to put there crap into everything
I loved TBBT because it was laugh out loud for me multiple times every episode & it was intelligent & geeky.
Everyone getting married was fine - lots of extra material, but the children...no.
Buffy and Spike … everyone wanted it … then we got it and wish we didn’t
Also Buffy/Angel is my fave
People hated Delena???
I was confused too.
The constant over-referencing on TBBT also had a negative effect on the character of Penny. Her constant mockery of said things just made her look more and more like a bitter villain. Rather than a beloved member of the group.
Monica and Chandler are my fave couple. Even though I love her with Richard, I love how Chandler and Monica make each other better
I don't think we can blame these ships ruining the show. the writing took a dip on all these shows and it wasn't because they were catering to the fans.
My favourite TV couple in history has to be between Claire and Jamie from Outlander, Diana and Matthew from A discovery of witches, Killian Jones and Emma Swan from Once upon a time ( plus I'm getting into shipping Bones and Booth from bones)
I loved TBBT specifically for the geek jokes which is what made it stand out from every other sitcom of the time 😢
I was fine with that til they insisted that Sheldon pair up and thats where a lot of the magic disappeared.
Perfect description of the sad decay of TBBT.
TBBT was never good but it got worse
In regard to the question of favorite TV series couple, it would have to be either Rick & Michonne from The Walking Dead or Monty & Harper from The 100.
Fans wanted romance between as Dean and castiel however castiel's proclamation was not of romantic interest but as of a sibling in a family. So the show did it correctly and fans were just misreading the scene
A lot of these aren't "Did right by the fans" but just examples of bad decisions.
Like did any fans ask for Daryl to become Gary Stu? No. Liking a character and their screentime and maybe wanting more doesn't mean go to the opposite extreme of massively overexposing the character. And it often ends up being a common mistake.
I stopped watching The Big Bang Theory cuz everyone was settling down, so the show felt like it was winding down.
Veronica Mars and Logan Echolls
Wasnt the whole point of Big Bang Theory geeky jokes?
Yes; but it was handled so badly that it just became nerdy blackface. Just substance-less references and nerd/geek mocking.
It sounds like the voiceover guy is trying TOO hard to enunciate the final sound of the last word of each sentence.
Words like "them-uh" aren't so bad, but that extra syllable in "show--uh" sounds downright ridiculous.
That’s exactly why I fell off BBT around season 5 cus they’d jus mention transformers and dc and it jus felt like doing it for doing it and always made me roll my eyes
Im so pissed.
Here, have a Snickers.
Calling Community a huge hit is ridiculous, it was constantly on the verge of cancellation....the fans are what kept it going
Technically it was still a hit. It was a fan hit, not a critical/commercial hit. Just like how the Venom movies keep getting made, even though they do poorly at the box office, the fans love them so they keep making them.
@@antoniacosta6221 while you are correct that it was a hit among fans it was not anywhere near considered a HUGE hit. A huge hit is Seinfeld FRIENDS. Community never got the ratings those did. Even though it deserved it
@@antoniacosta6221sweetie no . Their fans loved it....but there no such thing as a fan hit, and actually doesn't make sense in this context. The idea of a fan is that they like a particular thing. Saying a fan hit is redundant in a sense
@@javk8673 idk the right phrase, I thought saying “fan hit” would give you the context I was trying to convey, but apparently not 😂
@@javk8673Yeah no. Fan hit is correct. It has a very strong cult following!! It IS a hit! It won a Primetime Emmy and was nominated four times. It also won a Critics Choice Award for best comedy series. So yes, it is considered a hit! Also, it was on the verge of cancellation once. Fun fact, so was Friends and Seinfeld. It scored very well on Rotten Tomatoes every season except season 4, which was their most critical season. However, they brought it back up in season 5, and 6! It was most certainly a HIT! No show gets 6 seasons is it isn’t a hit show. Also, tv shows at the level of Friends and Seinfeld, don’t happen that often. Those shows are considered Mega Hits! They hard to replicate, but every now and then there’s one that makes it out of the gate, and absolutely owns the ratings!
The solo Daryl show was actually really god
IMO Daryl should have gotten the bat, Glenn was picked in the comic because he was the fan favourite that seemed to have plot armour, not many folks thought he'd go out like that, so that made it shocking much more than the gore of the scene did, for me anyway.
Him getting it in the TV show just annoyed me, I just knew they were gonna do that because the TV writers are kinda weak compared to the writing in some of the comics, some of the comics absolutely sucks too, but nowhere near as much of the series sucks.
Food wars mentioned 📢📢📢
Jason and Janet are the best couple.
Rick/Michonne and i really want to say Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones, but i think they had more depth in the audiobooks
in regards of shokugeki no souma, the exaggerated food reaction is the essence of the manga itself and should be recreated to similar proportion.. so to say its the thing that made it bad is wrong but only the rushed ending to the noir arc is one of the bad thing around it
My fav Tv Couple is Monica and Chandler or Derek and Mere
Stop uploading censored pictures!
I shipped Destiel, but never truly expected it to happen. Then Cas made his deal and, well, we got what we got, which was just mean, tbh. But that all pales to nothing compared to the finale. 15 years of character development completely ignored. Heartbreaking for all the wrong reasons.
We do have to keep in mind that they did what they could with the circumstances they were given. A lot of plans were thrown on the cutting room floor with COVID.
I never like Oliver and Felicity as a couple on Arrow and want the show to be more faithful to the comics to have black canary and green arrow as a couple. The best couple ever on tv is Clark Kent and Lois Lane or Clark Kent and Lana Lane in Smallville.
To be fair, season 15 of SPN was the last season so saying it "Turned a lot of viewers off" might not apply here.
Also, there not being an actual explanation for how Sherlock survived was literally the point Moffat and Gatiss were trying to make. No answer would have made fans happy, so there never really was one.
April and Andy Parks and rec
I like Delena
Sam and Dianne
Algorithm 👍🏾
Destiel felt so forced imo
Because it kind of was. Most of the non-ship-happy fans (me included) were getting tired of seeing it everywhere.
Daryl Dixon the guy that cries all the time. Most annoying part of the show
The problem with Destiel is they didn’t really try to do right by the fans as it felt like a slap in the face to have the confession happen when there were only 2 episodes left, Castiel dies right afterward, we never hear what Dean has to say about it, and Castiel is never seen again despite us learning he’s still alive. Heck, while it was mostly homophobic people some argued his declaration of love wasn’t meant in a romantic sense and honestly I could see people taking it that way since it was never touched on again.
I didn't care about the Destiel crap at all. The entire last 2 episodes pissed me off
It ruined most of the episodes for me
Make the angel lame and gay!🤣
The ending was terrible the Winchesters defeat god himself but Dean is killed by a random vampire
@@beanbean78And dies on a piece of rebar. 🙄 How did they think that was a good ending?
@@tempusspiritus Instantly reminded me of Mystery Spot and Dean dying from botulism or choking or electrocuting himself in the shower. I really liked the interview between Jensen and Michael Rosenbaum on the Inside of You podcast, about both his own reaction to reading the end script as well as Kripke's.
Dean wasn't gay🤷
He was clearly bisexual
true, he was bi :P
@@Panpanpaja Came here to say this.
Homiesexual is the word
@@Panpanpaja he wasn't bi 🤷
Big Bang Theory jumped the shark by season 3 and should've been canceled years before it was.
