I'm not sure what is in a Slim Jim, but it definitely isn't meat. Those things are nasty, you can feel the load of oil hit the back of your throat when you bite into it. You are also guaranteed to shite yourself almost immediately after consumption.
Im addicted to jerky but my favorite is actually the Honey BBQ Sweet Baby Rays jerky. It has to be the Honey BBQ flavor though or its a no go. Its the juiciest, most flavorful, satisfyibg jerky Ive ever had. The other Sweet Baby Rays flavors are no comparison so get that HONEY BBQ
My rule of thumb is to read the ingredients and if there’s beef hearts in it I won’t buy it. I know that beef hearts are in 99% of sausage snacks, but if it just says beef on the label, it perfectly fine 😅
Try the Dr Pepper flavored meat stick. i think it's a Jacks Links product. i thought i was going to like it because i love Dr, Pepper, but i couldn't even swallow the first bite i wouldn't even give it to my dog i couldn't even finish chewing it. it's awful. 🤢👍

Old Trapper Peppered Jerky is good. Buc-ees Ghost Pepper is great if you can get it.

It’s meat they’re usually made from the scraps of meat and bones. It can be chicken,beef and in some cases pork and lamb
