The new map is slightly better, but is still heavily gerrymandered.
This comes from a very right leaning news company so take thier "facts" with a grain of salt. Thier journalistic biases takes it's own creative liberties with the truth.
Democrat/Republican, we should abstain from such political leaning "news" sources.

Democrats are actually the 1st modern Gerrymanderers, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
In 1968 during the civil rights era, they began Gerrying district 3 in Maryland in order to elect an African American Representative, and it is now the 2nd most Gerried district in the nation, AND it's rep is indeed a Black American woman who has held the seat for 19 years, and she has NO desire to redraw the lines, and neither do the 7 Democratic holders of the 8 total seats, as they expect to hold those seats at least through 2018.
