Hey J, David here. I got a system you might wish to use when snaring which will help you preserve your snare setup locations for future use. Attach your snares to a cable slide system, like you use for beaver. Works great. And because the coyote now destroys an area off to the side of your original set, it makes your set even more deadly. Enjoy. My season will start for me on Dec 4, just as soon as deer gun season ends.

Those fiberglass drowning rods are a good idea "if" they stay cheap enough. Myself, I would rub them with fine steel wool & then rub them with green mashed english or black walnut husks. They will be green while wet, but dry black over night, repeated coats deepes the color until black is achieved (talk like 2 coats on items of fiber glass) sanding only 1 time.

trapper j try using your drowning cables for .beaver on your cable restraints. That way you don't lose your location.

you should add a piece of rope to your wader pocket for the #330s when you dont have the big setter. Its all I use on the big traps

Belisle 330 is an amazing beaver trap, holds them even if caught by foot/tail. Well worth the money.
