Nintendo and Phillips had an agreement to make some add-on but Nintendo was all nvm and left but gave them the license to use 5 of their characters (including Link, Zelda and Ganon) for the CD-i as part of an agreement. "Contracting out to independent studios, Philips subsequently used the characters to create three games for the CD-i, with Nintendo taking no part in their development except to give input on the look of the characters" so, yes and no in a way lol

I've considered this my favorite game grumps episode of all time to me for quite some time
It made me super happy when Danny mentioned Nausicaa. It's so severely underappreciated by Miyazaki fans anymore.
This whole episode is full of laughs. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad we came back to this game.

So if they were going to replay a game it would make a bit more sense to go back to a favorite.
