- Six Flags Over Texas invited us out for a sneak preview of their 2024 Fright Fest event with new haunted houses, specialty food and the return of live entertainment. Taking place select dates from September 13 to November 3, this year's Fright Fest features haunt versions of well-known horror brands, including Stranger Things, SAW, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Conjuring. Guests can also venture through four scare zones and experience the return of live shows, such as Dr. H.H. Holmes' Freak Show inside Southern Palace.

I was there yesterday, NOT worth going they where barely even starting so they didnt have much stuff the haunted houses where DRY!
Nice opening ceremony there. The elements lifted from Crowley's Ordo Templi Orientis rituals add that authentic "occult" touch. i hope they're aware & intentional about the forces they may be conjuring!
Thank you for this video! I’m looking forward to visiting Fright Fest this year and seeing the haunted houses for the first time! As for the specialty food offerings, can I use a meal pass to get any of those? Can a meal be used for a snack like the funnel cake? (I’d be using the dining plan, not one day meal pass where a snack is included).
Most of them are either a meal or snack on the dining plan. Funnel cakes are still not part of the dining plan per the norm.
W channel I’m going on the 5th
Seems cool. I would wait till October to go.
Are they going to have a haunted house season pass?
Yes, they do. It is listed on their website.
I went on the 13th
Just like magic mountain I would be surprised if saw and trick r treat open at a later date in the event
You are way more nice than what I thought about it. I also had the chance the go to the sneak peak. All the houses weren’t open at 7 like everyone thought. We waited an hour and thirty minutes before Stranger Things and The Conjuring open. My party hated Stranger Things and The Conjuring was ok. They definitely need more actors in the Stranger Things one. Texas Chainsaw was also ok. I didn’t know it was based off the terrible Netflix movie though
I found it a bit odd to be invited to a dress rehearsal employee event, but am happy for the opportunity. With that in mind, I held off on being as critical as I would be if the park was open and charging money for the experiences.
@@AmusementSource Ah ok. Fair point. I was looking at it with the perspective of me being a regular guest paying $40 for the haunt pass. I just hope they do get more actors
@@RaggyRoo456 Our visit once the park is open to guests may be a different attitude. 😅
It was low low
In what area in the park do the monsters come out? Is it by the big stage near the entrance or somewhere else? I plan on visiting soon and want to see them first hand when they come out
Yeah, the first clips you saw up front are when they come out for the evening.
@@AmusementSource ah okay, thank you!!
Are the rides open all night? Or are most of them closed..
Most are open when it is a normal operating day.
