I love the idea of moving the cat tower in front of the window. I think the kitties would enjoy laying up there and looking outside.
I agree 100% plus they will scratch up the window trim jumping up and down! I think more than one tower would help keep the mischief down too!

My black cat Baxter was 4 months old and was flying from the kitchen table to the fridge. He passed away last year at 16 and now his 17 year old sister is in her last days.

It's heartbreaking when their time comes to go to their eternal home and we won't have them with us until God allows us to all be together again.
My kitten would lunge at my mom with her claws out, she's 16 years old now after surviving some health scares.

The kittens are so happy in their new living space, play space and cause havoc space. 😂 I still think one of them will figure out how to turn the water on. 🥰 It's so heartwarming to see DeeDee so happy with her new family, she knows she hit the jackpot with you all.

I think moving the kitties to the barn, and then ultimately letting them go in and out is a good idea. I've got kitties just a little bigger than yours, and I started letting them out into the yard a while ago when they were big enough. They go in and out all day, but sleep inside when I'm not here, and can potty both inside and outside, their choice. They've got a big brother (a stray from a neighbor) who supervises them, and I've trained them to stay out of the road.
Futurekron, I'm NOT here to hate on you. I'm a rescuer and an animal advocate so I always try to help others understand the importance of spay/neutering of their animals and if they're able to, they should try to help the homeless strays as well.
I hope and pray that you had your babies spay/neutered before you let them outdoors. 🙏🏻 Same with the homeless stray, I hope someone has been able to get it fixed as well. 😧
There are millions of unwated litters and adult cats being euthanized daily because of overpopulation. 💔 Same goes for dogs but their numbers are much much higher. 😢
@@kellystephens077 They are very responsible with their animals. They will be spade or neutered, Even the new little dog they have already talked about it needing spade. So don't worry they have it covered. These are some wonderful people who truly love their animals. Spaying and neutering is VERY important! There are way too many animals without homes in this world. Thanks for mentioning it. It's a good reminder for everybody. We love you Cog Hill Farm!

The three Kitteneers are ready and willing and oh so happy to move to the barn. It's the perfect place where they can patrol for mice and play to their hearts content... and you can reclaim your bathroom! LOL!

Thank you, folks! Loved this video. Cat houses definitely need to be by windows. I lost Sally to an abdominal aortic bloodclot 5-1/2 years ago. Had to put Mango to sleep 7/22/23. He had nasal cancer, which they couldn't treat, only make him comfortable. I kept him only as long as he was comfortable. I didn't want him suffering. I had Mango for 18-1/2 years. I miss him so much! I thoroughly enjoy watching your cats and all your other animals. Thank you!❤

Please think about putting the live Nesting cam into use in the Kat Kamp until spring when nesting starts again. Or have a live Kat Kamp when spare room in barn is finished for your fine feline friends. Just a thought.
I can surely relate! I lost my black and white long hair, Sasha in June, she was 16. She was fine one day and passed away the next. She’s missed every day!❤

Show all the progress on the house, maybe talk about each of your favourite things about the house. Anything you would do differently and any future changes/add ons planned? I think it would be interesting to hear/see 🙂

Sally and Mango are both gone now, and I miss them, but Sally thought my tubing for my CPAP machine was her own personal playtoy. I would have to replace it quite frequently because she would claw and bite it, making the CPAP useless!
So sorry for the loss of your cats. They sell covers for the tubing now so that pets can’t ruin the tubing. Actually my new machine came with a hose covering and I looked up to see what it was all about and it explained that it was to keep pets from puncturing the hose. Hope it helps and you are able to get a covering for yours just in case you get other kitties. 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦

Oh, I bet they will jump for those lights, and probably even perch on them when the weather turns colder, and they are seeking a little warmth!! And should we take bets on which day Brook and/or Jason open the door to the Parlor and they find a little deceased rodent on the floor? More bets on if it's one, two, or three little surprises on the floor? After all, all three mousers will want to show you how grateful they are for being rescued into such a wonderful family and home.
I think the kitties will be much happier in their new home! They have more room and they will soon get used to the sounds and smells of all the other animals too. Plus, they will keep your barn rodent free ... and hopefully snake-free too!

Bless your heart, Brooke!!! I put my cat tower by a glass door and when she was older, it went outside on my screen porch. She loved her tower and napped every every where on it and the scratching areas were gone by the time she left us. She used it for 15 years. I love watching all of your babies and OMG! I so miss my Oliver. He was an orange tabby. He was so sweet too. I had gone to the shelter to adopt an older cat and as I was waiting for the paperwork to finnish I walked around. Every time I passed Olivers he would reach throught the cage and grab hold of me and didn't want to let go so he came home with me too. He passed away two years ago quite sudenly and it broke my heart, but the Joy and love he gave will be with me forever. You all love you animals so much and they inturn love you. that is why I love your chanel. You are a compationate loving family.

😂 so cute and so destructive. I was allergic to cats for many years but when my grandson and my grandcat moved in a few years ago Magic didn't seem to bother me. We became good buddies and he slept at the foot of my bed most of the time they lived here (almost 2 years). They moved out back in June and I have to say I miss the cuddle time we shared. I do get to see him next weekend when they both are coming over to visit for the weekend.
Every cat has a different dander level. Russian Blues are at the high end in my experience.
Hi Jason and Brooke! I have had cats and kittens, for 48 years. My suggestion would be the wall plates for your electricity. Needs all to be covered. So they don't get electrocuted. You have to have eyes behind your back!!! They can get into everything at this age. Thank You!❤

Slightly heartbroken for you to see the the damage in your bathroom, but that is life with kittens. My last kittens destroyed my curtains that were made to measure and had blackout backing. Cost a bomb, but one day, I closed them to watch a movie during the day and found shards of light coming through them. Wallpaper covered in holes too, but they were my babies and I loved them dearly. xxx

Your kittens truly owned your bathroom and laundry room! Obviously any curtains you introduce into your Milking Parlor will experience the same fate as your shower curtains and window drapery. Maybe delaying the curtains under the counter would be wise or possibly rethinking that idea. The tower in front of the window is awesome! Great for napping in the sunshine. Happiest cats ever!

We rescued 3 kittens from our yard after their feral momma decided she was done with them and was leaving them alone to get into trouble. They were about 8 weeks old. Although ours had the run of the house except at night and when we were gone. I can relate to the chaos in Brooke's bathroom! It was like having 3 monkeys living in my house! They are about 4 years old now and have calmed down quite a bit. We love them so much!
