I mean, it's not just his lack of complexity or diversity, it's his inability to grasp even basic concepts, or his propensity to believe anything that is written down (or that he finds interesting) and proceed as if it is factual/historical. That's not just someone who "lives simply", that's someone with a serious lack of critical thinking skills lol. But I agree with you on the rest though.

Instead of a Karl Comes Home episode this series there was a fourth episode which was episode 3 again but with commentary from Karl, Warwick and Ricky.
He is actually correct about "we learned to make walk, we learned to make fire, we learned to say "what is that"". Only he got it in the wrong order. We first learned to try to find out "what is that". That's the basic of survival of the spieces. Without "what is that" there would be no walk and no making fire.
He might complain alot but he is not a hateful or judgemental person. I always think he is respectful and funny at the same time when meeting people who are different.
