Can you do a TEKKEN 6 Revisited video for King II? Because I can't seem to find any frame data on King that's actually up to date. I've mostly been going off TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 frame data and seeing how some of that information applies to TEKKEN 6.

I know that you did in your other video, but you forgot to mention here at 10:39 that his snake edge, db 3, puts you in a crouch state, so you have to cancel it first before you do d2.
i used Drag's qcf+1 instead of f+1+2 from ch b+1, which imo looks even cooler and did more damage. TMM dont know if you already said it but the strict timing of a dash jab from a f+2,4 off of a qcf+2 was another thing too. also you could CC with ssl~iws+4 from snek edge to get a bound combo in t6.
It's weird how when they make Dragunov easier in T7 TMM's like "OH NO THEY RUINED HIM!" But they did the same with Jin and he doesn't complain. Jin's combos are way easier, actually do damage and have insane wall carry. His f4 gives a reliable CH combo, magic4 gives a reliable CH combo, EWGF now a NH launcher. d4 literally now one of the best low pokes since it's fast, high crushes and is only -12 on block. cd4 tracking unseeable low launcher that leads to like 50+ dmg.
One Tekken ago and we are all old. But I understand, fighting games has a life to live until it dies not like COD or AC games where you shave your beard and when it grows an inch there's a new sequel to that.
I think that the character models look more detailed and realistic in this game. The characters in TEKKEN 7 look like wax figures many of the models look off to me. lol
It is there first time using that engine to. Look at the new character they got out. They looking way better then tekken 6. Can't wait until tekken 8 I know graphic will improve heavily with the new system coming out and they getting better at using the new engin.
worth noting about Dragunov's old b1 counter hit is that after a counter hit, you can also follow up with a qcf+1 or qcf+2. In terms of difficulty, both of these are hard to hit given the quarter circle input. Kinda wish he had that in T7. lol
WR 2 seems like the sort of move that should track okay to the left (his right) but otherwise be mostly linear and require you to be able to do an iWR if you want any utility out of it. Like anywhere outside of maybe half-dash range and you need a hard read to hit it even against someone blocking because they should be able to step that if they're on the ball. For a move with that much forward momentum you should have to pay a price if you don't understand how it works. Strong plus frames on block, great effects on hit, but you're weak to being perceptible.
What’s best about Aris is is, as mainman said, doesn’t really like execution, meanwhile you see Aris playing DJ and spamming electrics, Kazuya also spamming electrics, King does the swag combos easy and spams instant while running moves no diff. He’s a self deprecating bastard and you all know it.
seriously man, they still just dont know what to do with him, they try giving him all these new moves but i do think they need to take a step back and look at how he was previously and try to build up from there

TMM can you do a Tekken 6 revisited for Law? Teach us some secret tech or something. Or just explain his massive changes since Tekken 5 DR because he changed a lot in Tekken 6. I think Marshall Law and Jin was the most overhauled characters in the game. Jin switched to Karate, this includes most of the animations and how he is played and also voice change (still the same VA but upgraded the grunts) Law still the same style but changed most of the animations, new neutral standing animation (removed the mustache as an extra) and new voice actor.
I think the reason why he'd potentially is unpopular because he's fairly ugly imo. Pale skin with scars but i like that. Not everyone should look like a supermodel and drag is terrifying without looking insane
I find it funny that used to think that iwr2 was though as shit, then I realized I spam electrics and my pride as a Mishima player would not ket me lose to something as easy as iwr. Then it progressed into iws with Dragunov. Until I’ve noticed one day that all I do is almost exclusively play Dragunov. And hearing people arguing that dashing into iws4 with Dragunov is hard, just cracks me up.
Much harder. In t7 don't have to dash, you can actually just crouch into it. In t6/tt2 you had dash up iws4. Also the iws4 was the only option. In T7 you can even jab after ch running 2
Will you ever talk more about mind games instead of the technical stuff? I dont think we have much of that kind of content for tekken. If you watch FGC translated on youtube,the pro SF players actually talk about their decision making,mind games etc.

The b1 in T6 is now uf1 in T7 and it knocks down on normal hit. It's pretty much a whiff punish tool now.
And it has guaranteed followup in iws 1+2.

T6 still looks so nice, great art style and stages compared to T7 (imo)

T6 Dragunov was really fun the true definition of hard but rewarding gameplan and I like these type of characters and even games such as T6 and Kof13
