In John 8:58 Jesus is not declaring himself to be God. Some believe Jesus is making an allusion to Exodus 3:14 where God says, “I AM THAT I AM,” according to the King James version. But Jesus did not use the same expression in John 8:58. He used the Greek expression “ego eimi” (“I am”), which was a common phrase used by several people in the Bible. For example, in John 9:9 the man who Jesus cured of blindness said “ego eimi”, meaning that he was the one cured by Jesus. In Acts 10:21, Peter used “ego eimi” to say, “I am the one you are looking for.” In John 8:58, Jesus is simply saying that he existed before Abraham. Some translations translate this verse to more proper English: “I existed before Abraham was born.” Rather than claiming to be God, Jesus prayed to his Father calling him “the only true God” in John 17:3. Jesus only claimed to be God’s Son. (John 10:36)

@@tiwanstrong1413 Who was Jesus claiming to be in John chapter 8? The context makes it clear that he was not claiming to be God. In John 8:25, they asked Jesus “Who are you?” In the following verses, Jesus said that the Father sent him and that he does nothing on his own but he only speaks what the Father taught him. Jesus said in verse 42, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me." He said he came from God, not that he was God. In verse 50 he said, "I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge." In verse 54, Jesus says, "If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God." Jesus always referred to his Father as God. Jesus only claimed to be God's Son. The reason Jesus said “I existed before Abraham” is that he had just told the Jews that Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing his day. They replied “You are not fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?” As the Firstborn of all creation, Jesus already existed in heaven when Abraham was alive. God had promised Abraham that the Messiah would come through his lineage.
Jude 1:25 "To God our Savior, who alone is wise. Be glory and majesty, dominion, and power. Both now and forever, Amen." Only God is worthy of praise and glory. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. I believe the Word over anyone in the flesh. Jesus is God.

Read scripture and you will understand what that means. If Jesus is the intercessor to the Father how can he be God. He said he’s got to the Father if he’s God who is he going too? If he’s sitting at the right hand of God making intercession for us how can he be God ?i If you read John 17 you will get it when he says he’s and the Father are one . “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Furthermore if he’s God that means God died for 3 days , but there’s a problem because God can’t die.
My favorite passage to prove Jesus' divinity is Luke 7:36-50. It's long, but the ending is unmistakeable. In this passage, Jesus declares that we personally owe Him when we sin. What angel do we owe when we commit sin? Do we owe Gabriel anything? Do we need to beg forgiveness to Michael? But Jesus said we owe Him personally. He taught that our sins are on His account. King David said it best in Psalm 51:4 when he said, "against you, you only [meaning God] have I sinned." We are indebted to Him because He is God.

Jesus also said to honor the Son just as you honor the Father . That statement alone lets us know that Jesus was calling Himself God . (Skip to verse 10) 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
God The Father NEVER wore a diaper in a manger but He sent His Son (Jesus/Yahusha), clothed Him in flesh, allowed Him to start life on earth as a baby, grew up, The Father said “This is my beloved Son in whom I’m well pleased”. I don't understand this myself. How does someone receive authority except if a higher power gives it? Jesus himself made sure to always point back to his father yet we want to make them all the same.

Where in the Bible does it say God was manifested in the flesh? Can you point that to me? I can point to where it says the word was manifested in the flesh John 1:14
I heard someone today say that this verse could also be used as an example that Jesus is God. Who else has the power to order demons into the abyss that was created by God? - Luke 8:30-31 - Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.
No HE was talking to the FATHER. Question, when GOD the FATHER was calling JESUS GOD and said YOUR Kingdom is forever and ever Hebrews 1-8, was the FATHER speaking to HIMSELF?
The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death. Is Jesus God? Yes. Jesus declared Himself to be God. His followers believed Him to be God. The provision of salvation only works if Jesus is God. Jesus is God incarnate, the eternal Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8; 22:13), and God our Savior (2 Peter 1:1).

Doesn't the Bible say that "there is only one God, the Father" in 1 Corinthians 8:6, and didn't Jesus pray to his Father calling him "the only true God" in John 17:3? Also, the phrase "God the Father" occurs repeatedly throughout the NT, never the phrase "God the Son" or "God the Holy Spirit." In Revelation chapter 3, Jesus calls the Father "my God" several times.
It’s sad that I see so many people trying to receive the benefits of the Father without the Son. It’s like trying to feel the Sun without its light. The very disciples of the apostles believed in Jesus' divinity, as the following exhortation of Ignatius of Antioch (martyred at Rome between 98 and 117 AD) to Bishop Polycarp of Smyrna (69 - 155 AD martyred, who was a direct disciple of John) states, "Stand firm...Look for Him who is above all time, eternal, and invisible, yet WHO BECAME VISIBLE FOR OUR SAKES; impalpable and impassible, yet who became passible on our account; and who in every kind of way suffered for our sakes."
Why does Jesus subject himself to His Father (God) in Heaven, if they are all co-equal? Some say that on Earth Jesus had to subject himself because of the nature of himself, but once in Heaven, why does he still subject himself to God?
John 8: 42 Jesus said to them: “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I have not come of my own initiative, but that One sent me.
In his epistle to the Magnesians (chapter 8), Ignatius of Antioch (who also was a direct disciple of John) wrote: "Jesus Christ His Son, who is His ETERNAL WORD..." Obviously, both the early church and the apostles believed in the divinity of Christ.

In John 1:1, the Greek word _theos_ (“god”) appears twice, but there’s a key grammatical difference between them. The first _theos_ has the definite article ho (“the”) before it, which points to a specific identity -- in this case, Almighty God. The second _theos,_ referring to the Word, doesn’t have that definite article, making it indefinite. Without the article, _theos_ is describing a characteristic or quality of the Word. The Word is “divine,” “a god,” or “god-like,” but not the same as _ho theos_ (“the God”). Also, John 1:1 says “the Word was with God.” If the Word was _with_ God, the Word can’t be God at the same time.

As we know the word god ( theos ) has 4 basic meanings. But let's focus on the one meaning that would be plausible. That meaning is >>> a representative , viceregent , magistrate , judge and wait for it ( Ambassador ). Isaiah 9:6. Ya that's flawed logic. GOD gave Jesus a plan and Jesus followed it. That means Jesus was obedient to the will of the Most High. How could anyone tell GOD what to do?
@ not sure what you are referring to. I do believe who he says he is. He has said that he is the Son of God. There is not one scripture where he says out of his mouth, I am God. Secondly there is no scripture that commands a believer to believe that he is God, however there is scripture that we are to believe that he is the son of God. Now all the scripture that you may mention are your personal interpretation that “ this is what he meant” So answer me this please, if he clearly says many times plainly that I am the son of God, why isn’t it the same for your claims that he is God?
@@walterdodd3279Actually, in the New Testament there are multiple passages in all 4 gospels in which he says “I am God” in the same way as the Lord YHWH multiple times in the Old Testament says “I am God.” I already posted a very long demonstration of this in another thread. I’m not going to repeat it here, but it’s there for anyone to search for it.
@ thanks for your reply, but I will guarantee that you are interpreting those 4 examples as “What he meant” but he didn’t say it. He actually said he was the son of God, no interpreting needed. Secondly as believers we are not commanded nor are we instructed to believe that he was God. However the scripture is crystal clear on what the scriptures purpose concerning this topic. In my opinion, the Spirit of God isn’t revealing your position, oftentimes individuals who hold to your belief are using and relying upon linguistic knowledge to interpret those verses you mentioned. I hold that the Bible doesn’t contradict itself and the Trinitarian interpretation you have to insert a lot of additional verbiage outside of the text to make it make sense and even after that most say it’s difficult to fully comprehend. I don’t understand why we don’t believe the record of what God said about Jesus, what Jesus says about himself and how the Apostles have written about him. There are way to many statements by Jesus himself that contradicts your opinion of him. There is One God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. But unto us who believe there is but one God the father and one Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t call me good, there is only one good the Father. I sincerely am not trying to debate, I just don’t understand the reason to hold so tight to a contradictory scriptural position?
@@walterdodd3279 I guarantee you are wrong. I didn’t say 4 examples; I said multiple examples in all 4 gospels. Let me give you just a hint so you can see where I’m going with this: In the Ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Septuagint (LXX) the Lord identifies himself by a divine name: “I am” (ego eimi) in Deuteronomy, Exodus, and 7 times in Isaiah. We understand these to be statements of His existence expressed in a unique way as a name, which defies grammatical convention. The grammatical convention would be for him to declare I am God ( with the predicate being “God.”) but he doesn’t do that. He declares without a predicate “I am.” And He is the only person in all of the Old Testament who identifies himself in this manner. But Jesus does exactly the same thing in all 4 gospels, and he is the only person in all of the New Testament who identifies himself in this manner. He uses the same unique name as the Lord YWWH uses in the Old Testament to declare himself God, as well as to demonstrate his divine authority and power. It’s something that cannot be disputed, because it’s clear.

If some of you don't believe Jesus Christ is God ask Him and He will tell you who He is. Even though it's written in the Scriptures of who He is. In the old testament God called Himself I AM in Exodus 3:14, God also called Himself the First and the Last in Isaiah 41:4. Didn't Jesus say before Abraham was I AM in John 8:58. Revelation 1:8 Jesus said I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Who else can call themselves that and be true
i always have a real hard time comprehending this topic. so is it GOD the SON if so what does that mean? are we disregarding the FACT the bible says jesus is the SON OF GOD over and over and over again? are we downplaying the father in heaven and what he's capable of? the most high aka father in heaven is capable of having a son is he not? this is where it starts gettin tricky why doesnt the bible just get to the point and say there really is no SON. its GOD himself taking on the SONSHIP becoming flesh and then coming down to die for everyones sins. so when it says SON OF GOD that holds no weight someone please help me lol In the Bible, God says "This is my beloved Son" in Matthew 3:17 and Luke 9:35. Matthew 3:17 "And a voice from heaven said, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'" John 16:28 Jesus says, "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father". John 14:28 Jesus says, "I am going away, and I am coming to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I". hmm interesting
It speaks of the Father's relationship with the Son. The Son will inherit the kingdom from His Father, Hebrews 1:2. He always does what pleases the Father, John 8:29.
Jesus says that YAH places him as judge and he will eventually give his authority back, also Why did Jesus say only the father is good when ppl said he was good, Jesus came to do the will of YAH when has YAH ever done anyone else's will, How can there be 2 most highs? Its pretty simple Jesus is the Son of the most high who bares the standard of GOD, i think the confusion comes because ppl use GOD and lord as a name when it isn't.
This is so confusing it's like you trying to make contradictions make sense when they clearly don't. You want to believe in something so bad that you just throw common sense out the window
@jimsh8189 no you just dont know how to understand the bible. Let's be for real a lot of don't know how to read clearly because a lot of no. How to listen and comprehend clearly And that was the confusion those particular jewel's hat with Chris. Well, they didn't have no spiritual understanding. Christ never said that he was God. He never said he was equal to God You guys are giving him that leverage that he didn't put himself on. He said god the father gives him the power to do the will John 8 John 5.
I believe that God is Jesus. I believe wording is important. I believe they are one. Order is important. It's not what you say, its how you say it. And I dont put Jesus before God.
I get what people do here, by pointing to this scripture or that scripture; I do it myself .. but in all truth and fact the entire word is about Jesus .. from genesis to revelation it’s all about the messiah’s coming.. the entire bible points to Him. It also declares that He is God you can’t separate them they are one There is one god .. he has many names : Jehovah, Yahweh, Elohim, Emmanuel, Jesus ❤ what a beautiful mystery that god loved us.. me so much that he himself was sacrificed for my sins .. your sins. It’s not difficult
Jesus himself said he is the son of God! John 5:25-26 KJV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
The Messiah is God - The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2).
I understand that this is a great mystery for all mankind and for us who gave our lives to Christ and study as the scriptures tell us to do. But I have to tell you if you read the gospels, that is when Jesus is with his disciples as he walked the in his ministry he was, he was saw as the Son of God. God the Father character was very direct in who he was and who Jesus is. “This is my Son whom he was well beloved. This is my only begotten son, Father not my will by your will be done. Who do you say I am, The Son of the living God, I can go on and on with scripture clearly stating who Jesus is in Scripture. No mystery no put together to make something that wasn’t in scripture. Even the scripture when Jesus says “before Abraham was, I am . It’s not the same as Exodus. Jesus never said he was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob anywhere in scripture. Again, when you read scripture God is direct about himself. Now I don’t know the mystery, but the Bible tells us clearly what we must believe to be Saved. John 3:16, believes in the only begotten Son of God. 1John : 1:5 who ever believes Jesus is born of God. I don’t give my opinion. This is all in scripture. You have to watch for man’s agendas versus what God intended to tell us through scripture. His agenda.
@@vernonmerrick1872Read those very same Scriptures much more carefully, and you will discover that the Son of God IS God. There’s no other conclusion, and denying this causes one to die in their sins: John 8:24.

@@jollyrancher521 That doesn't even make any sense!!! When you read the PRECEDING verses and you try to incorporate your DEFINITION of that following verse, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!! WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???!!!

- Luke 8:30-31 - Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.
Question when Jesus says "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Was he talking to himself?
No HE was talking to the FATHER. Question, when GOD the FATHER was calling JESUS GOD and said YOUR Kingdom is forever and ever Hebrews 1-8, was the FATHER speaking to HIMSELF?
No. He was citing Psalm 21 so that the Jews would recognize that he was the person suffering in the Psalm. He was referencing prophecy about himself.

We’ve all been loved before the foundation of the world as God always knew us.
Why does Jesus subject himself to His Father (God) in Heaven, if they are all co-equal? Some say that on Earth Jesus had to subject himself because of the nature of himself, but once in Heaven, why does he still subject himself to God?
Facts, its because there's only one Most High. It's literally in his title.

1 John 5:20 definitely brings this out . Great video Cory
Jesus Christ Is God
Jesus is my God and Lord!
Truthunedited falls short because does not have the Holy Spirit so he can’t discern the truth of The Scriptures because he denies the Son
Not necessarily. TruthUnedited doesn’t deny the Son. He just denies the trinity and Jesus being God. That’s not denying the Son
I was thinking the same..
@@lilsaff21Denying that Jesus is God is denying the son. The Jews know what Jesus meant when they said he blasphemed because He called Himself the Son of God, making Him EQUAL to God. Who can be equal to the Father without being God?
@@lilsaff21dont be deceived my friend..he does deny the Trinity therefore he is denying Jesus is GOD..

No it’s not. The Son and the Father aren’t the same. Plus when scripture tells us Jesus is the Son of God that’s what people adhere to. Thats verbatim. Scripture doesn’t tell us He’s God verbatim. Hints why, it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal that. And unfortunately, it hasn’t happened for him or many people yet. But they are not the same
In Greek " Almighty God " is translated ( theos pantokrator ) , where pantokrator specifically means " Almighty " or " All Powerful " and " theos " means god. Now in reference to the word god. As we know the word god ( theos ) has 4 basic meanings. But let's focus on the one meaning that would be plausible. That meaning is >>> a representative , viceregent , magistrate , judge and wait for it ( Ambassador ). Isaiah 9:6. So you see a person has to understand the difference between the Father ( Almighty God ) and the Son ( God ) who also is the Eternal High Priest. Plus all authority is given unto the Messiah ( Matthew 28:18 ). As the moderator of this channel said. It is crucial that we know and understand who the Messiah is and what His position is.
How could 1 be GIVEN all authority if they already have it?😮
1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV
[14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
( if Jesus wasn't God He could have not made these statements . He said He does the same thing the Father does . No one can say that except God . These verses show that both the Father and the Son are God but at the same time shows a distinction between them Both . )
John 5:19-23
New American Standard Bible
19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever [a]the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, 23 so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
Jesus is GOD! HE is literally the living Word of GOD in the flesh.
God is All seeing all knowing and creator,The holy spirit is the power by which god rules or carry out his bidding,And the son is his messenger by which he conveyed his existence and how mighty he is,3 dofferent entities🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Very simple and perfectly stated.
Good job brother!
Corey, excellent presentation. Consider, by the way, Romans 9:5.
THANK YOU JESUS 🙏🙏🙏 !!!
John 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
No man can be sinless unless he is God as only God is sinless therefore Jesus must be God.
👍 And no man’s blood could atone because it’s worthless therefore Jesus must be god in the flesh.
So are the angels in heaven sinful? You said only god is sinless so I want to know your thoughts on that
Ya that's flawed logic. GOD gave Jesus a plan and Jesus followed it. That means Jesus was obedient to the will of the Most High. How could anyone tell GOD what to do?
I believe that Jesus is the son of God.😊
If you don't believe he is who he says he is, you don't believe in him which is a requirement for salvation.
@@walterdodd3279Actually, in the New Testament there are multiple passages in all 4 gospels in which he says “I am God” in the same way as the Lord YHWH multiple times in the Old Testament says “I am God.”
I already posted a very long demonstration of this in another thread.
Let me give you just a hint so you can see where I’m going with this:
In the Ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Septuagint (LXX) the Lord identifies himself by a divine name: “I am” (ego eimi) in Deuteronomy, Exodus, and 7 times in Isaiah.
Excellent, thank you!
I love this teaching! Jesus is God walking around in human flesh.
John 1:14
The cult of the trinity has a horrendous reputation. So much bloodshed. Even right now, Orthodox trinitarians are killing their fellow Orthodox trinitarians in the Russia/Ukraine war. True Christians only worship the Father as did Jesus and do not kill others as Jesus did not.
So if i honor the queen as i honor the king, does that mean that they are the same?

Isaiah 9-6
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given, and the government will rest upon His shoulder, and He will be called Wonderful Counciler, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I am in John again at the Time but yes well said!!!! A few Verses you quoted in the Old Testament I didnt thought of ,wow yes
To say he is literally the most high is questionable. Hebrews 1:9 and John 20:17.
There is only one God, so He is the Most High God.
@hermanwooster8944 Are you to explain those two passages then?
Only by people who don't understand the scripture, the most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2).
@@RenardGarzaro Dogma. Preconceived notions. The scriptures you provided are not evidence for Jesus being the most high. You went on to say only God can die for sins...where does the bible say this? Since when can God die?? You're telling me Mary gave birth to the creator and Romans killed our God literally? Are you going to touch the two passages I provided about Jesus being God but having a God and also having a father and God same way Yah is our father and God?
@@dre5773I’m afraid yours is the empty dogma. There are literally thousands of Scripture passages , which prove that Jesus is God, and that he claimed to be God - equal with the Father.
Christ said “there’s none good, except one, that is God.” But then He also says that He was the “Good Shepherd.”
Therefore He must be God 🙌🏾
Also, when He called Himself the Good Shepherd of Israel, he was referring back to Ezekiel 34:1-14, which portrays YAHWEH as the Ultimate Shepherd over His people Israel.
It is a beautiful thing that this man isn’t the end all be all to the gates of heaven. “Study to shew thyself approved unto YAHUAH, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15. Not man but the I AM. And rightly dividing the Word of Truth. I see A lot of self proclaimed interpretations of the Word these days. Now that is what’s Dangerous. But Everyman must be pursued in their own mind. Because “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:37
We’ve got some work to do Holy Spirit! 🙏🏽💯

How about you debate Rabbi Tovias Singer on verses in the Tanak you say refers to God as a compound unity?
Like Deuteronomy 6:4?
This trinity was never made a big deal by the apostles in the Book of Acts who heard privately and personally from Jesus Christ.
Hey Corey are you saying that people who believe modalism are also going to hell?
If some of you don't believe Jesus Christ is God ask Him and He will tell you who He is. Even though it's written in the Scriptures of who He is. In the old testament God called Himself I AM in Exodus 3:14, God also called Himself the First and the Last in Isaiah 41:4. Didn't Jesus say before Abraham was I AM in John 8:58. Revelation 1:8 Jesus said I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Who else can call themselves that and be true
i always have a real hard time comprehending this topic. so is it GOD the SON if so what does that mean? are we disregarding the FACT the bible says jesus is the SON OF GOD over and over and over again? are we downplaying the father in heaven and what he's capable of? the most high aka father in heaven is capable of having a son is he not? this is where it starts gettin tricky why doesnt the bible just get to the point and say there really is no SON. its GOD himself taking on the SONSHIP becoming flesh
and then coming down to die for everyones sins. so when it says SON OF GOD that holds no weight someone please help me lol
In the Bible, God says "This is my beloved Son" in Matthew 3:17 and Luke 9:35.
Matthew 3:17
"And a voice from heaven said, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'"
John 16:28
Jesus says, "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father".
John 14:28
Jesus says, "I am going away, and I am coming to you.
If Yahusha is not Yahuah then the whole Bible is full of contradictions!
Yahusha is Yahuah!!!

@jimsh8189 no you just dont know how to understand the bible. Let's be for real a lot of don't know how to read clearly because a lot of no. He never said he was equal to God You guys are giving him that leverage that he didn't put himself on. He said god the father gives him the power to do the will John 8 John 5.
I think the confusion comes because we're using generic terms like God and Lord which aren't names.
I believe that God is Jesus. I believe wording is important. I believe they are one. Order is important. It's not what you say, its how you say it. And I dont put Jesus before God.

Jesus is the Son of God and the Messiah according to Matthew 16. Who do you say I am
The Messiah is God - The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. His agenda.
