Thank you Jim. I am the same. I’m always interested in the kit that people carry, and also why they carry it. That little Leofoto tool gadget thing I spotted from someone else’s bag review, and they had an example of where they’d been able to use it to get them out of a pickle and keep a photo day out going and productive. Had one on my Amazon wish list within seconds! Thanks for the support and the comment - they are appreciated. Hope all is well with you in the world sir
Thanks for this one Huw. I've accrued quite a number of camera bags with my favorite, for landscape photography, being Shimoda X50. The only thing that I would add, though it is perhaps not really photographic kit, but I would not go out without, is a decent first aid kit.
Also, in a separate zip pocket I've also got some paracetamol, some hayfever tablets, and also some indigestion relief, and a small pack of tissues - don't get much use, but I've had occasions where I've been grateful that I had them with me.
An interesting and worthwhile exercise Huw, and your contents are more or less the same as I would have, but I have purchased several 'back-pack' style bags of varying prices and been unhappy with the compartment dividers which to my mind are not substantial enough to protect the lenses and camera, so I much prefer to use my aging conventional style camera bag, although I cannot get everything in it, so chose what to take according to the job in hand. Horses for courses I guess
Thank you Roger. Meyrick has picked up the same bag, AND for the same reason - he was somewhere to put his lunch when we were out for extended periods! I have three bags and I alternate based on what I'm carrying and why, which is more important these days with me occasionally playing with film. Thanks for the comment sir
I too enjoy these what’s in my bag videos. It’s clear that you’ve put some time into assembling your kit. Thanks for sharing, Huw.
