When I was a child, I always pick up some jujubes on the mountain In the winter.
Especially the jujube(Hovenia acerba Lindl) is extra sweet after frost and snow.
Jujube can not only be eaten as fruit here,
it can also be used to soak wine and make sugar.
It happens to be snowing, so let’s make a braised pork rice.
兒時的冬天，總會山上撿些拐棗
尤其是霜雪過後的拐棗格外的甜
拐棗在我們這裡除了當水果直接吃
就是用來泡酒和熬成糖
正好又是下雪天，就那還是做頓滷肉飯吧
