The band recently announced their highly anticipated album, The Adventures Of Ben Blank, which is set to be released on October 20th. The album is a collection of 9 tracks and will include the band’s other recent singles, “Afterlife” and “Picture of Love,” which earned a SOCAN #! The Adventures of Ben Blank will be the band's first new album since 2020’s All of Us. The album garnered critical praise and achieved notable recognition, including a JUNO nomination for Rock Album of the Year and being listed among the top 10 highest-rated albums of that year by Uncut Magazine.
Born in Montreal, Sam Roberts had been a violin player, surrounded by a vast range of musical influences, who eventually moved on to guitar and started a rock band with friends. The Inhuman Condition became the best-selling independent EP in Canadian history and included a re-recorded version of “Brother Down” and the chart topper “Don’t Walk Away Eileen”. In 2003 he released his first full-length album, We Were Born in a Flame. This year marks the 20-year anniversary for the Double-Platinum certified album, which was a huge hit in Canada and won JUNO Awards for Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year.
Roberts has since continued to release hit Platinum and Gold-certified albums, winning awards across the board and landing once of a lifetime performance opportunities such as at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
