Firstly,awesome video! Just what I was looking for! A ranking from a real fan who knows his shit. I really like third eye blind but I’m not a super fan (such as yourself) I own the first 5 albums on cd but basically the only thing that I ever go back to from them is there 2006 a collection album. (That I have on my phone,I listen to it when I bike and run)It’s funny when you were reading some of the tracks from your number one,I was thinking (those are all my favs from collection) I’m definitely going to have to throw that on this morning and listen to the whole thing (good background music for my morning yoga) is the latest album any good? Top 5 worthy?

I love this band man. I haven’t listened to all their stuff yet but I’ve connected so much with the albums I have listened to. My order goes something like this 6. Screamer (It’s not bad it has a handful of good songs it just doesn’t stand out much to me and I haven’t spent much time with it really) 5. Ursa Major (might be controversial putting it this low but it’s another one I haven’t spent much time with but nearly every song on it is good upon the first couple listens. Definitely more memorable than Screamer and I could understand why this would be someone’s favorite) 4. Our Bande Apart (I was so happy that they released something new after Screamer. It’s a great short and sweet album and while I wouldn’t say it goes front to back with no weaker tracks the hits HIT. Dust Storm, Box of Bones, Again, they’re all really great tracks) 3. Blue (OHHHH YEAH BABY here’s the good stuff. I agree that Blue was an album I didn’t connect with my first listen I was honestly begging for it to end after the halfway mark. I loved wounded and the singles but not much else. Then I went back and realized this whole album slaps. It’s more mysterious, edgy, and ambitious than the first record and I like it. Cadogan rocks his ass off too and I really always wonder what the band would’ve been like if he wasn’t ousted from the band)
2. Out of the Vein (This is such a tough choice for me, but I think Self Titled is slightly better. Out of the Vein is a front to back amazing album. There’s not a single point I get bored and it has Jenkins in his element lyrically and rhythmically with his verses the whole album. Also Tony Fredianelli on this album is the only reason why I don’t totally hate that Cadogan was fired. He’s fantastic and I’m so happy that this band managed to have 2 awesome and creative guitarists. Blinded is my favorite track hands down and Misfits has to be the weakest in my opinion although still a good track) 1. Self-Titled (Such a complete and well put together album. It kicks off with all of their power-pop hits with Losing a Whole Year, Narcolepsy, Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper, Graduate, How’s It Going to Be. Narcolepsy is probably my favorite TEB song when I think about the song I’ve consistently loved for the longest. That’s one of Cadogan’s masterpieces. Then on the B-Side it packs in some hard-rocking tracks with Thanks a Lot, Burning Man, Good for You, and London. After those it gives you I Want You as a smooth almost funky track to transition you the closing 3 which are each individually some of my favorite songs the band has ever put out. The Background, Motorcycle Drive By, and God of Wine. They all just pack such an awesome punch and follow a similar quiet start explosive middle with a bit of a soft ending to calm it down. Just such a perfect album in my opinion. I 100% respect the pick for Out of the Vein and I almost put it at number 1 too, but Self Titled just has it all and I have to give it to Self titled) Lol I wrote a lot more than I expected I love this band. Great video man I always love to see third eye blind content

I know you said you didn't like Carnival Barker that is just a sample at the end of the album the full version was suppose to be release on Ursa Minor that never got released, there is a full version of the song on UA-cam no lyric but has some really good guitar riffs, it is worth checking out. There are also a bunch of unrelease tracks from the band on UA-cam. These ones are very good We Can't Say We, Summatown, Persephone, Now I don't Know, If there Ever Was A Time Eye Conqueror Secret Garden. BY FOR THE BEST IS THE SONG GORGEOUS only the demo version is on UA-cam sadly. So glad they added Alright Caroline on the 20th anniversary Album it never got released before. There is also another EP that only got a digital release called Red Star the track Non-Dairy Creamer is really good off that. I already listen to Our Bande Apart a few times this morning, I like it but overall I am disappointed only 9 tracks 32 minutes long and no really good stand out tracks.
I have the longer version of Carnival Barker, it sucks that Stephan was never able to finish the lyrics. I think it's a waste of a track the way it ended up on Ursa Major. I have all the unreleased Ursa Minor tracks in my iTunes, I love Persephone, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Invisible. Red Star s great too.
omitted We Are Drugs since its an EP but I think Weightless may be their best song post Kevin or Tony. And I'm not sure it's even ever been played in full live sadly.
I heard a majority of OOTV live six months before it came out. When it finally got released it was like seeing an old friend again.
