An herbal formula "no to morning sickness tea" helps boosting metabolism and helps digesting food. Giving it try might help having enough food. Nevertheless olive itself is a complete diet.
This video helped me so much! I’m literally strapped to the bathroom floor all day long 🤢 10weeks pregnant. And am on the verge of quitting my job from being sick all the time.this video definitely helped me!!
Jackie Smith I know the feeling, I had to take my whole first trimester off of school and work. I actually quit school. Now I am 12 weeks and my morning sickness is going away. I stuck to carbs. I ate toast in the morning with butter and took my gummy prenatal. Now I am able to go back to work. I go back sometime this week
‘It’s temporary’ that helped! I’m going through hell with my pregnancy right now! And I hope it goes away on my 14th week cause I literally feel like I’m dying! 😭😭
Week 10 and I am so desperate to have a normal appetite. Morning sickness last all day! Super tired... so blessed to be pregnant but it’s not an easy one.
this is awesome. I just found out I'm pregnant with my second and I quit my second job shortly after! I'm growing a person lol and that job is way too physically demanding. not to mention, I haven't been showing any love to my budding Mommy blog. now's my chance to reclaim time for myself! thanks for the extra encouragement!
I've heard so much about eating/ drinking minty things but mint and peppermint have been my worst enemy. Smelling anything minty makes me so sick. It sucks.
Thanks for sharing. I came to check out the cards by Mama Natural. Love oracles and am always looking for new decks to work with. thank you!! Hope you and family are doing awesome.
I’m 7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. This video is so helpful. I literally quit my job because honestly the lord and my body was telling me it was the right thing to do. I am so sick and having to look after a one year old and two story house is rough right now, but like you said it’s only temporary, and a blessing! It’s like almost reassuring when you don’t feel good because you know it’s just your little baby. Even though the smell of the new carpet upstairs makes me wanna puke my guts out🤢 thank you for the video!
I’m struggling so hard to find joy in the process because I feel so I’ll. I can only eat tan foods but I still feel miserable. I find myself being sad I’m not as happy to be pregnant as I anticipated because I feel so terrible 😖
Hey Laura!! Congrats on baby. Could you do a video on the herbs and other "health" things that you should stop doing when pregnant? Would definitely appreciate!!
For some reason I've binge watched all your videos today.. even the ones around pregnancy. I'm not even pregnant or close to having babies! I just enjoy hearing you speak haha. Looking forward to more videos around natural living and detox!
I'd be interested in videos about a natural birth (if you're planning one, that is) and what you're doing to prepare. I'd also love a natural/non-toxic baby items wishlist/purchases. There are a ton of baby essentials videos on YT, but very few lean natural. Also, have you thought about cloth diapering? I did with my daughter but that was several years ago, and I'm going to do it again with baby #2.
TOTALLY! I will definitely be doing a birth preparation video as I am very much planning it to be natural. I am starting the research process for all the baby stuff and non-toxic is out there, but less option (and more pricey) for the big stuff. I have thought about cloth diapers, but right now I just feel like it's something I don't want to deal with. I could change my mind.
I read somewhere that malnutrition can lead to the nausea or fatigue, something to do with all your nutrients going to the baby and there not being enough for the mom. I hadn't heard that in my pregnancy, and I was feeling pretty bad and eating frequently but not always eating foods that were highly nutritious. Do you think that could make any difference? Did you eat some foods that had good nutrition, and do you think that sometimes helped?
I am 24 weeks along... I TOTALLY needed to get sleeping bras, too. I liked ginger tea and candied ginger to snack on. I enjoyed reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. I also LOVE MamaNatural!!
Oh congrats! Yay! I read Ina May's, but I honestly like didn't love it thatttttt much. I felt like it was empowering, but maybe I just learn better visually! Mama Natural is life, lol. Have you tried the Birth Baby & Life podcast? You'd love it. She has like 8 kids and has a ton of birth and baby topics. I've learned so much from her.
Thanks! I thought the birth stories were really empowering for sure. I haven't heard of that podcast- I will check it out. I feel like a sponge... I want to learn/read/hear about as much as I can about birth! Here's to healthy, natural babies!
Same!!!! The recent one called something about getting over the fear of childbirth is AMAZING! She gets super fired up and you feel like you could go into a forest by yourself and give birth afterwards.
There are so many aspects of childrearing to think about (don't get me started on how crazy and overwhelming baby registries are...) I was just wondering, are you thinking about cloth diapering?
Laura, did you use any kind of special belly cream? I'm currently searching, I used Mama Mio with my last pregnancy but it's got fragrance in it and I have pretty sensitive skin.
Mmmmm not really. I tried the Zoe Organics Belly Oil and it was too fragrant for me. Then I switched to a bottle of Biossance oil I had laying around. Then I think I just did coconut oil.
If you suffer from morning sickness and feel like dying you need to get to the dr and get some meds. It won't harm your baby! There are medicines out there to help. There is no point to suffer. If one medicine doesn't work after a couple of days, change it.

I'm so glad, Jackie! Week 10 was the worst for me! Hopefully it looks up for you from here.

Try taking small sips of milk. That's what I have been doing and it helps a little bit!

Hey Laura!! Congrats on baby. Could you do a video on the herbs and other "health" things that you should stop doing when pregnant? Would definitely appreciate!!
Yep!
I am far away from pregnancy but I love following this journey for you!
Thank you! You're so sweet.

Absolutely! It's grown exponentially just in the past 5 years already.
