Have you said to him, "Father, may I explain the Gospel to you?" If he says, "No," keep praying. If he says, "Yes," start explaining.
I just prayed out loud for him. Have you told him the Gospel? What was his response? You can even use the thief on the cross if he thinks it's too late. We know it is not! Makes sure you do as Ray does in evangelizing and what Jesus did with the rich young ruler. Gotta show that he NEEDS a Savior. God bless you. In Jesus name.

Please please pray for our family. We are just living our life, not bothering people. Our neighbours / their young children are mean spirited to the point of harassing us almost daily. It has gone so far as to the courts. Funny thing is, we are depending on God for our every need. And He provides. Maybe this is bothering them, knowing we don't turn to them but to our Father. We are running from the law, but there's a helicopter above that simply cannot be outrun, so just surrender. If God created Adam from the dust of the earth and can gather up all the dust of believers at the rapture, it's not a stretch for Him to be able to know every thought and deed we have. Surrender. He's just waiting to give us all more than could ever be imagined. Just as He planned for Adam. It's restoration of a thing that happened so long ago...
I'm thankful I learned about Jesus as a child and believed 🙏🏼 in Christ then. Because after all the trauma and tragedy I experienced Jesus Christ was faithful to His word He never left me or forsook me. Praise God life is hard but God is good all the time ❤

When I first read about King David & how he said, "Oh GOD, I have sinned against you!" - my thought was, he also sinned against Bathsheba & against her husband, where was David's apology to them?
I now realize that you can only SIN against GOD . . . we do bad things to one another but everything we do against each other is a SIN against GOD . . . to repent & ask forgiveness of GOD, is to ask forgiveness for the bad things we do to others & to be given the opportunity to try to make amends with those whom we have hurt with our words & deeds.

The generosity is awesome. No doubt. I can't help but think if he is spurning on the breaking of the 10th Commandment for his millions of followers. I like sportscards. I love you Ray comfort, because you speak truth, also I love leonard ravinhill as well, he along with you are my living and departed mentors, I weep for the lost every day, but I'm also allowing the Lord to kill everything in me that prevents me from speaking the whole gospel of Jesus Christ, I'm not out to make friends I have few because they think I'm to radical in my love for Christ and the lost, that's all I think about day and night, my prayer is to make me into a man of God just like Jesus, and the Holy Spirit has taken me up on my offer, so I die all day long and at night, it feels like I'm being ripped apart, every conceivable area of my life that does not conform to Christ dies, it's practically unrelenting but, when I think I can't take another minute he waits two hours because that's when he operates on my heart, then I sleep in his peace and wake in the morning with a song of praise and worship ringing in My soul, it's all the reward I need, then we begin another day of intense instruction many hours a day in his word, he doesn't respond to self pity he responds to obedience, the time is over, the lost are still lost, but as a street evangelist I'm not going home, without bringing one soul with me, it's not numbers it's the lost, and I'm consumed day and night , what an honor given to me, I guard it with my life, love you guys , there is joy and peace in death, I see Jesus in me, they must see him also, or my labor regardless of how sincere just isn't enough ❤️

Absolutely not. Grace alone.
I have watched a lot of Ray's videos and have great respect for his ministry. But I feel the need to push back on one point. Jeremiah 29:11 is also Biblical, and sometimes it's exactly what someone needs to hear from the Lord.
The Gospel is not one size fits all! Jesus healed people from compassion, even if He knew that they weren't spiritually hungry. He fed the crowds with the Bread of Life, knowing that many of them were just looking for another free meal.
He told us to make disciples, not converts. That means pupil, student, learner. If we remain teachable, the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth.

Yes, I agree with Alan that our ideas of good plans are not the same as God's. Just think of what Daniel and his 3 friends went through in Babylon!
I respond to prayer requests on an online platform. Apart from people going through the things that Alan mentioned, we often get "I feel like I'm losing my faith." or "I think God hates me." Whatever the problem, I always make it clear that God's 'good' is about equipping us to serve Him, not health, wealth or superficial happiness. After all, seeking His glory first and serving Him is the only way to live a purposeful, fulfilled life.
I wish Alan had qualified what he said about discipline. That's not always why life is full of trials. Think of Joseph! He faithfully obeyed God, and his situation just got worse - until it didn't, and God's purpose was revealed.

I hated this book through the first few chapters! It made me question my faith and everything I believed I believed. It made me so angry. Then I realized I was wrong, all my life I was wrong! Praise the Lord my eyes were open! Praise the Lord Jesus chose me and saved me. I was wrong. Jesus saves! Test your faith with fear and trembling!
I have not read this book . . . BUT BOY DO I REMEMBER THAT AWAKENING MOMENT OF MY OWN . . . I was physically sick to my stomachs, my own high & mighty pride, my shame & disgust at myself . . . I had lived my Christianity as, "I have no fear of God - God loves me, I am one of His & am secure! But I sure do feel sorry for the rest of you loosers who refuse to believe."

I already bought 50 copies of this book, and I’ll be buying another 50 I’m sure. The western church is starving for this truth of the real gospel. I’ve already walked two people thru the 10 commandments. One was an unbeliever who completely opened up to the gospel, and the other was a believer shaken as much as I was upon reading this book - and he looked me in the eyes, and asked how he can be sure he’s born again. God is awesome, and Living Waters is a tremendous blessing to our generation!

@@razark9 God's word is true we must be born again and turn away from our old ways of living and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says in order to be a follower of Jesus we must deny ourselves pick up our cross and follow Him. Jesus died to take the penalty of sin off of us but we have to beg God for forgiveness and ask him to help us to repent and turn away from our sins. We can't just say I believe ok but then nothing about us changes. If we believe we must walk upright before the Lord and not in our own ways but the Lord Jesus Christ helps us deny ourselves helps us learn what sacrifice and love is helps us to bear up under the burden of wanting to go sin but the Lord helps us turn away from sin and to the living God. I used to be gay and in Sept of 2018 the Lord started to process me out of the gay lifestyle. things just didn't mean oh ok now I like the opposite sex but the Lord had to process me and it's a lifelong process. All of us have things that we have to say no to in order to say yes to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Start by praying (reading over slowly with intentional focus on the words) Psalm 51 every morning. God will help you move into a state of true repentance....at which point you give Him the most holy of sacrifices, a broken and contrite heart....then HE will put your house in order. Nobody can put your house in order like God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Just try it...........what do you have to lose?

We watch the way of the master years ago: I was able to use RC’s method a few times - I had the opportunity to have conversations with a co-worker back then. He was genuinely interested and I’m praying that he became a Christian out of it - that someone came and watered and help the seed grow. I love watch in the videos and it gives me a renewed boldness to want to start evangelizing again
Wow running into this video now is crazy for me. Iv read this book like three times already, and Ray Comfort being one of my favorite authors help me with that. But the craziest thing is that just yesterday, not knowing this information I was asking God to help me get out of a rut of not reading his word or maybe good books that I know would impact me, and one of the first books other than the Bible I thought about was this one. 😮😮

Let us not be fooled! We do not want to be one of those who will be turned away on that day when men stand before God. The way is narrow, and the road is straight, and FEW be that find it.

Our sin has set us all on the road to hell and no amount of good will fix the sin we have done. We have ALL sinned. It is not about the type of sin or how much sin. It is about the fact that we have sinned. For that reason we all need a Savior.
If we want forgiveness for our sin and peace with God. If we want to escape eternal hell. If we want to go to heaven we must understand the following. We DO NOT get saved (go to heaven), get right with God, forgiven, by being good, by being religious, by just believing in God, by praying a prayer, being baptized, asking or accepting Jesus into our hearts, accepting Jesus as our personal Saviour, confessing our sins, joining a church, cleaning up our lives, doing penance, taking the bread and the wine, or doing all these things accumulative.
Salvation is a gift that is given to those who repent and come to faith. Eph. 2:8,9
Salvation takes repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21. testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Make no mistake. We cannot be a friend of Christ and remain a rebel against God and unless we repent we remain a rebel. The word repent, from the Greek word “metanoia”, means a change of mind or direction.
God is not receiving those who almost or kind of repents. It is like the word About-face which is a 180 degree turn. We turn from not wanting God fully in our lives to willfully surrendering to Him to lead our lives.
When any person comes to the place where they are broken over their sin toward God to the point that they want to get right with God no matter what it will cost them they are in a state/spirit of repentance toward God. The repentant heart would walk away from anything or any one to get right with God.
We then take that willing repentant heart we have towards God and place it on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Master, because He paid the price for our sin, and that becomes faith. At that moment God’s grace through Christ is freely applied to us and we are born again, saved from eternal hell and sealed by the Spirit so that we will never again return to the practice of sinning. 1John 3:9,10.
Our first command after salvation is to be baptized.
Repentance of sin is the result of the new birth/salvation and will be part of the sanctification process and our new life with the Lord Jesus Christ, Eph 2:10. While we may sin from time to time after salvation it will never again be our practice 2Cor. 5:17, 1John 3:9,10.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
REV. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
It all boils down to are we sorry/broken enough over our sins against God and do we want to get our hearts right with Him or not. Let us be sure that tomorrow does not belong to us.

Hey team at living waters, how do I respond to people who say teaching repentance is teaching works ? I see people call you, me ruslan and voddie baucham so many more, we are fruit inspectors and we are backloading works into the gospel ?
@@joshuawoodin Try Ephesians 2:-10. Works are a result of being saved through repentance. By leading other's to the savior you are doing the work that God has set before you. Remember a man is known by his fruits, your fruits are your works not unto salvation but because of salvation.
@@richardhicks9914 yes i totally agree, their is a particular person who refuses to debate me in public or private, he says all repent means is to change our minds from unbelief to belief in Jesus. No matter where in scripture we point to, he always says we teach works. It's the osas crowd, AKA the once saved always saved group who say everyone who is not osas is works based salvation. I don't know how to reach these people, if not them then their subscribers who follow them, a public debate is a great way to change their minds. But no luck so far for me.
@@joshuawoodin Some maintain that repentance is simply a change of mind about Jesus. That it has nothing to do with sin. All we have to do is believe in Jesus. That is change our minds about Him.
I’m not concerned about these people. They have their minds made up no matter what I say. What concerns me is those they influence with their unsound doctrine.
So, does repentance mean to turn from your sins of lying, stealing blasphemy, fornication, adultery and idolatry, or does it simply mean to turn from the sin of unbelief?
Scripture makes it clear that repentance is turning from sins (plural):
Ezekiel 18:21-23: “But if the wicked will TURN FROM ALL HIS SINS that he hath committed…”
Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, THAT YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT…” (Note: this is “sins,” not the “sin” of unbelief).
Acts 3:26: “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, IN TURNING AWAY EVERY ONE OF YOU FROM HIS INIQUITIES.” (Again, “Iniquities” is plural. Not the singular sin of unbelief).
Luke 24:47:
“And that repentance and remission of sins (sins, plural) should be preached in his name among all nations…”
Revelation 2:21-22 (emphasis added):
“And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
“Deeds”-Plural
If repentance is just a change of mind about Jesus, why does the Bible speak of godly sorrow producing repentance:
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation…” (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Godly sorrow clearly means to be sorry for sin.
When David was confronted by Nathan for his adultery and murder, he didn’t just have a mind-change. His repentance came from godly sorrow. He spoke of being cleansed from his sin, saying it was evil in God’s sight:
“Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight.” (Psalm 51:1-4).
The Amplified Bible translates the Greek and Hebrew languages:
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent [change your inner self-your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Matthew 4:17 AMP
Listen to scripture as it addresses sinners telling them to be sorry for their sins:
“Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom” (James 4:8-9).
“And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:21
Notice again, murders, sexual immorality and thefts. Not simply unbelief.
Proponents of the “just believe” doctrine say that we are saying to stop sinning-like Jesus said to the woman caught in the act of adultery:
“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:11).
“See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” (John 5:14).
A Christian stops SERVING sin. He perpetually turns from it. This is called the FRUIT of repentance. It’s evidence of salvation, not the reason for it.
Those who maintain that turning from sin is a work at the same time say that sinners must “believe” to be saved. In other words they have to “do” something-they have to believe. That’s works-righteousness. We are saved by grace alone without works (see Ephesians 2:8-9) and the way to obtain grace is to do what Jesus said to do, “repent and believe” (Mark 1:5).
@@LivingWaters yes I agree 150%, I see alot against the once saved always saved crowd and just believe in your heart. The new testament says things like, having the flame of your candle put out and your name erased from the book of life by the lamb, I oppose calvinism the "P" perseverance of the saints and the OSAS crowd, they take 1 verse and make a whole doctrine out of it, which is unsound doctrine. I want to debate these people to free there followers who listen to these bad online voices. And thanks for your reply whoever you are on the living waters team.
I pray that Jesus purifies His Bride quickly making Her spotless, without division and ignorant criticism. A body divided cannot function as intended.
If you notice the sin, even in thought, reject it and make sure not to follow it. Always hold yourself accountable. God will also know this as he knows all. Because bron in this world, these thoughts will come, inevitably... but its our choice to follow them and act upon them or not. I think we shouldnt forget to love ourselves also and not chastise and hate ourselves for being born with that sin inside us.
What I See In Most People is They Want What The Things Only God Can Give, But Not God!

If god is real, he'd probably be repulsed by Ray's dishonesty, his ''ends justify the means'' mentality and disdain for people who understand basic science or who happen to be gay or trans.
If an evangelical truly believes this, then instead of adopting a Nebuchadnezzar mentality, the evangelical prosperity-and-self-glory gospel... would not be so entrenched.
Cold, indifferent theology as the pharisees displayed would be overcome by a constant concern for the weightier matters of justice, mercy, and faithfulness; which provide the context for the rest of the doctrines.
The haughty self exaltation would be overcome by a humble gratitude.
Groups of Christians, whether churches or gaggles at a restaurant, while certainly not yet perfected, would be known as Little Christs; set apart, peculiar, and not recognizable as just another country club.
Giving glory to God instead of each other.
That would be... glorious.
If it were possible to please God with the law then Jesus’ sacrifice wouldn’t be necessary. We strive to obey him and we put our trust in him to sanctify us but make no mistake the keeping of the law is not the way to salvation. Only believing in the work that was done on the cross. When we walk in that faith the Holy Spirit empowers us to live a Holy life.
So yes fear God and repent of your sins, but don’t be deceived into thinking your salvation comes from anything but believing in Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that God rose him from the dead on the third day and you will be saved.
