@@nic_the_grekk0262 be the “person most responsible for de-orbiting the ISS” or in other words, camp the laptop the longest with your body covering the reboot button and spend like 6 hours (yes it takes that long start to finish) begging trolls not to reboot (you’re kinda at their mercy, can’t do anything else besides draining all the fuel so they can’t reboot without getting more. Can’t kill them)

It could also be cause of something like an engine malfunction or even a debree impact. There are an insane amount of things that people up there have to watch out for and they need to make manuevers daily to avoid space waste.

The ISS would not just naturally lose altitude because of atmospheric drag, that’s the whole point of orbital velocity at the correct altitude. That’s one inaccurate part. Second off, this is literally roblox, and compared to an actual game like KSP; it’s nowhere near accurate. Also, the Re-entry time of this de orbit was FAR too long, in real life it would take about a minute or a minute and a half at the most. Like a normal re entry. The lowest it takes is about 20 seconds, but this was like 3 or 5 fking minutes.. if it was burning for THAT long; the heat shield would have consumed its maximum amount of heat and explode, along with the spacecraft itself. Another inaccurate part is, once you get into orbit with the Orion, why is there a transfer window to the moon anytime whenever you want ? That makes no sense at all. Also, how can you go to the ISS with Orion in this game when the Orion is going on the opposite direction of the ISS? Doesn’t make sense either. And why is there a launch window to Mars all the time too.. in KSP or SFS (KSP is incredibly accurate, 100% accurate physics. SFS about 90%), you can fast forward the time considering it’s single player. There you go

ik im 10 months late but - the ISS automatically loses altitude at a certain amount per hour. By not boosting the altitude and letting it descend for 9-10 hours it will reach the point of no return and the deorbit will start
