I'm glad you didn't abandon one of your iconic original first build still remember watching your 1.5 Gunslinger build back in the day and happy to see it again at 2.0!
I subbed, because you explained attributes and perks so well. It's extremly helpful for new player like me and kinda rare on youtube to find a really good explanation.
I think this would work phantastically with Jackie's pistols. Equip both of them with silencers, keep swapping between them and if you can keep hitting consistent headshots you will never run out of ammo or even have to reload
I’m glad you made this because I tried out your first one in my second play through and had a lot of fun and I want to run this for my third playthrough
I’ve been using a similar build with the addition of throwing knives and it’s so much fun! Death and Taxes is my preferred pistol of choice, since the rework giving it a 2 round burst is absolutely busted for guaranteed critical headshots mid sandy. 10/10
it's actually a nerf. the old version is actually shoots 1 bullet with a damage of 2 bullets. now it gives you a 2 bullets burst fire so the second bullet will have inconsistency because of the recoil
A year later and this has been really helpful to me. I just got back in with the DLC after not having played since before it was released, and this is the build I wanted to make. Was feeling kinda lost on how builds work now till I found this video. Really glad you added the last part to mentioning the order you would go as I wasn't sure about that either. Also checking out the netrunner video you mentioned next since as soon as I finish this run, I had planned to do a netrunner build, so the video segue was just perfect for what I'm wanting to play. Thanks a bunch.
Literally just found the channel and loved the video ❤ I normally play as a net stealth build and pistols etc when needed but lately I have tried this kinda build and really enjoying it and this video was a huge help !
I was so sad when I started a new game and revolver muzzle slots were gone. It definitely nerfs your damage but with the crafting changes its much easier to offset that damage difference by upgrading with the endless components available in game. I enjoy stealthy netrunner pistol assassin like this but I went with shotguns and katanas. The difficulty is a pretty drastic difference too especially with a certain boss that goes invisible.
I really like that there's more of a distinction now, revolver is the 0% subtle option for a Cool build that has so much stealth in it otherwise. It also benefits from the nerves of tungsten steel capstone for guaranteed headshot crits.
@@MultiheadedD I feel like they should still have Muzzles, but be barred from Silencers. It removed a core part of their customization, which understandably feels bad.
I am really liking the new metel revolver as well as its iconic variant the bald eagle. Fully upgraded, bald eagle does 133 dmg with 250 percent headshot multiplier. I found a tier 5 plus metel that does 151 dmg with 170 headshot multiplier. Right now I'm looking for a tier 5 plus plus metel... if it even exists... because according to my math it should do over 170 dmg per shot
This is probably gonna be the build I run but I’ll run assault rifle perks over movement to make it more of a Mandolorian styled build with a handgun, sniper rifle and assault rifle. Definitely fun
I played a stealth netrunner pistol build on my first playthrough. Honestly pistols/revolver seem have the most unique, which make pistol builds very interchangeable with lots of different uniques.
Thank you so much! I was having the hardest time like 24hrs in. CDPR didn’t really explain all the attributes that well. I’ve re-specd because of your video. Thank you!
Great build! I've been looking for a good build that uses the Sandi but every build guide I look at is melee focused. Very much looking forward to trying this!
Any tier 5++ power pistols are extremely viable in this playstyle if you stack two equilizers on them. I've tested this with the Nue, Liberty, and Unity and you can one shot near everything from stealth. Unity is my favorite, you lose a little damage but the faster rate of fire makes up for it when fighting boss level enemies that aren't gonna get one-shotted anyway.
I did 20 Body/20 Reflex/20 Tech/18 Cool/3 Int for my gunslinger build; LMG, Shotgun, and AR/SMG flex on third slot. 20 pointers go into LMG, Shotgun, AR/SMG whichever is equipped, Edgerunner ofc, and I chose to max out the grenade sub tree for maximum chaos. I highly recommend finding a T5++ MA70HB, Tactician, and Ajax with sufficient slots, and equipping each one with the automatic partial reload on weapon swap mod. Took awhile to get all the ingredients together, but weapon cycling as I move from target to target inside of sandevistan+kerenzikov has been really fun. Try it out! Only downside is essentially zero synergy with all the Relic perks besides the vulnerability spots.
this build is awesome. My most recent one was a lmg, shotgun build and its so cool as well. just obliterating every enemy on dont fear the reaper is so satisfying.
Thanks! Great video, this covers everything and is exactly the build I was looking for. I'm pretty new to Cyberpunk so I don't have much indepth knowledge on how to optimize a build by myself.
To anybody making this build now: a great pistol to use prior to finishing the main story is Death and Taxes. It puts out insane single shot damage from stealth and can be earned from Judy’s side quest pretty early in the game if you rush it. They tried to nerf it by making it deal damage to you when you shoot it, but you’re using it from stealth so that doesn’t really matter. Also it fires two bullets per shot, sounds fucking dope, and is just really fun to use.
I actually completed the game with a similar build back before 2.0, except I had a cyberdeck instead of a Sandevistan, with Overwatch and a silenced Crash for my weapons of choice. Initially it started out as a non-lethal stealth netrunner build, but later I got fed up with stealthing and chose to click heads instead. It's just so satisfying to one-shot every enemy during open combat.
Actually good to see people use hand guns with out some ridiculous massive scope on them. Your build is low profile and some what realistic. You'd be my go to if I was a Fixer needing a Solo/Techie
Just finished phantom liberty/2.0 and can break my youtube blackout now. I got a challenge build idea for you. Jetstream Sam from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. He is a samurai type character that is focuses on mobility and sword skills. The challenge part comes in with the fact that he has pretty much no cybernetics. In his prologue dlc he is completely human, in the main game just his right arm is cybernetic.
there's a smart SMG in PL with a sliencer and burst fire, that's pretty great to use for stealth also, since you can angle your weapon to make it curve the bullets and hit the target around the corner or whatever is blocking clear line of sight. and for most targets that burst is enough to kill in one go. for some heavier ones you might be able to land 2-3 burst fires (especially using slomo) shots to finish them off before alerting anyone.
I actually avoid taking the points for slow mo during focus if i am using the apogee sandy, i find that there's a bit of an odd / buggy interaction when triggering a different slow down effect along side the sandy where it ends up functioning like kerenzikov where you're slowed down as well. Also some times (but more rarely) focus overrides sandy but the cool down on it is still ticking despite it not activating.
Great guide video, thanks. It's a really good build. My favorite way to play Cyberpunk is silence John Wick look style "Hitman" tech-hacker (intelligence cool and tech tree on 20 points) and My favorite pistol that I always try to get as fast as I can is "Seraph" (that awesome gun you can get from Padre as a gift when you finish all his gigs) I really like that one, especially with the silencer and Cool skill tree for pistols. The second best in my opinion is "Her Majesty" that beauty you get from Alex in PL DLC. For folk who like to use smart guns Genjiroh (the best version of HJKE-11 Yukimura, you can get better than skippy. and you can get up early to make a trip to North Oak Arasaka Villa when it is available to do that). And for tech gun "Lizzie". Greetings
My first build circled around a full slow motion gunslinger type. It was so fun running circles around enemies blasting them in the head. I purposely left body low so i had to keep moving to survive
@@nicolasvaillant2583Yes it totally makes sense. I used to be like: How tf does a muzzle pacifify a revolver? Meh it's sci-fi magic. Revolvers have been repurposed to be for close quarter combat now.
Pistols became the best in this version, but it need to be stealth to really shine, or you have to work on incredible aim to only hit the head in fast combat (wich i have) All of your cyberware can improve the % of hit in the head damage and stealth damage. So it becomes REALLY OP.

Basically did this on my first pl playthrough. I mean spies and stealth go hand in hand. Made some of the early bosses a pain in the ass. But might've been how I prioritized perks.
I love this type of build. There are other "more powerful" builds, but this is one that is my favorite to play for long runs. It is utterly OP when in stealth, but maintains a challenge when detected, which keeps it interesting. I love netrunning or being a cyber-ninja, but both of these are almost too powerful, and you can annihilate crowds of people or bosses with relative ease. The gunslinger will still punish the player during combat if they miss their headshots, whereas you can't miss with hacks, and it really isn't applicable when activating Sandevistan and slashing away with katanas.
Such a great build like always i cant wait for your netrunner build because im curious how you approach it but first i need to end my katana build and dlc so yea i have alot time to spend before second playthrough 😂
I love doing sidequests first so I haven't even looked for evelyn yet after meeting with takemura at the beginning of the game, and I am already done with this build roughly, apogee sandevistan and all lol. I love to use the seraphim iconic pistol till I can get rogues gun, it works super well for this build, especially when upgraded.
Both Deep Field VI and lesser variant, Visual cortex, give you approx 1% of cc chance per 1m, the difference being DF works past 30m, up to 90m. I think this is only useful for snipers tbh. Most of my pistol kills are way within 30m. I know Axolotl costs arm and leg but wouldn't it be great addition to this build too? Also, is that basic optics? Seeing enemies thru walls is such a massive benefit to stealth, even if you don't plan to whack them with tech weapons.
probably the most fun build in the game, wish it had a pinch of netrunning for roleplaying reasons but i think you'd have to sacrifice too much to get it
My go to gunslinger build that made the game be very easy on very hard mode and made me kill all mac tac members relatively easy include: doom doom, ol reliable and hypercritical.
Removing muzzle attachments, especially silencers, from revolvers makes sense if you know anything about revolvers in real life. My current playthrough is a Gunslinger, but I'm not going stealth, just straight run'n'gun. My pistol of choice is the fully upgrade La Chingona Derada (Rest in Peace, Jackie). And the stats have definitely been boosted in 2.0, as the damage is better than either of the revolvers, at least for an equal tier non-iconic version. It's also slightly better than Johnny's Malorian 3516.
I understand not allowing suppressor mods on revolvers, but it would’ve been nice to have a power revolver with an integrated suppressor. It’s a video game about crazy guns in the future.
In the Technical tree, if you refund Driver Update, it does actually get rid of that 3rd modifier to your cyberware until you put the perk back on. I was curious about this also, and looked at my currently equipped Cyberware with it both toggled on and off.
I kinda agree that tech ability can wait, but getting cyberware even early game is not a problem, because you just have so much money now. In my 2.0 run, I sold my first inventory load of weapons outside the no tell motel after the heist, so it was all the guns from all foods, some scanner hustles, and konpeki. I made a good 13k off that alone. Combined with Meredith's 10k, I had enough money saved to pay Rogue, AND pay off my debt to Viktor. Earlier I had joked that now I wouldn't have to pay off his debt because I don't need the Falcon sandy, but I did it anyway because I ran out of things to spend money on. My biggest, and mostly only expense throughout the game was cyberware, as I'd buy new stuff instead of upgrading them, and spend it on my iconics. Also, would the Axolotl help here? You can get it in Dogtown, but I've heard it's Regina's reward for finishing her gigs, so it's accessible to everyone.
Yeah a 5++ silenced Lexington is just about as good as Pride or Her Majesty. Ran that for a while in a stealth pistol/netrunner build with good results. Using Pride now but really not sure it’s much better than the Lexington was. I go Pride, Fenrir in case things go crazy, and Katana if someone gets too close…and if I get bored. Opti camo close up katana kills are so satisfying.
love the video and the build, just thought i'd lyk, you can buy new iconic cyberware in dogtown, i'd love to see an updated build of whatever completely maxed out. Video is so well put togther fr
Hey, love the build and your video, keep it up! I got some question for the build, if you don’t mind 1: Why use the Kerenzikov boost system if you don’t have a kerenzikov? Is it maybe because you just want more reflex Attuned cyberware or maybe it also work with other time slowing cyberware ? 2: You took the Cyborg perk but your a missing a cyberware in your frontal cortex, is it just a oversight or do you know if you only need all the cyberware in one category for it to work (Ex:all nervous system slot fill so bonus active only for those cyberware)
One thing I hope for a dlc is prob some focused on the cyberspace, we always hear about it and how dangerous it is. Granted idk if it would make sense story wise to have V inside the cyberspace like a new playable area, I was thinking while inside they can use the Blackwall powers like in one of the endings
Have you tried Archangel you get from Kerry? I couldn't find anything better, and I missed the opportunity to get Amnesty, so I couldn't compare them, but Archangel was giving me 3k+ headshot damage after the first kill. It was easily 3 shotting mechs on their highlighted weakspots, everything else 1 shotting in combat, 2 shotting skulls I think, all on very hard. On top of that damage, it's got a built in stun while holding the trigger, and one of the fastest revolver reloads. I've since switched to a knife throwing build, which is INSANE! But I just couldn't switch off of the Archangel when I was using handguns.
@abrahamsandwich lol, barely an hour after writing this, I got Amnesty, and I vastly prefer it's fire rate. I just thought I missed it in my playthrough and wanted to know how they compared to eachother. Amnesty's definitely got that "gunslinger" feel to it.
you don’t really need all these movement perks for a stealth build, you can just go from cover to cover taking them out without ever getting into combat. also having a sandevistan is not a must with new changes as cool gives you time-slow when you aim so you could use a cyberdeck purely for turning off cameras, turrets and isolating enemies with sonic shock that also weakens stronger enemies so you can take them out with a headshot.
Where do you get the legendary XC-10 Strix suppresor? I have been hopping around and all i've managed was the xc10 cetus. I do infact have one strix suprisingly but I do not now where I got it. I wish to replicate what i did to obtain a new one lol
I haven't even finished "The Heist" but have been head-hunting the cyber-psychos. But im only on 4 of the 17... however i cannot find any good weapons yet.
so sad you didn't go trough your full cyberware, it feels something is missing imo :c - How do i get the 5.8% Headshot dmg multi on my Synaptic Accelerator? I upgrade and everything but never found one with that stats on 6:15
Sleeping on Jackies pistols. Bonus Burn Chance, free ammo, higher than average base damage. It is the best silenceable pistol bar none. Especially since you can get them immeadiately after the Heist.
I was sad because I wanted to do a build like this but I wasn't aware of how the game plays in 2.0. but what's funny is that I coincidentally speced my attributes perfectly for this and now I can just refund the perks and respec lol
Rogue’s pistol, in my experience, is far and away the best stealth pistol. It comes with the caveat of having to beat the game first, but my second run of PL was on a character that I’d beat the game with, and Rogue’s gun was my main pistol the entire time. It can one shots skull enemies because of its perk with Deadeye and Focus active. And it has a high headshot bonus damage percentage. It’s kinda ridiculous.
@@hanson2331 NG+ would’ve been such a good feature, letting us keep just our weapons, clothes, cyberware, and skills would’ve been great. Otherwise, the endgame weapons aren’t very useful unless you leave gigs and NCPD hustles around
@@eriiicj.1558I agree, it’s something long overdue. I literally had to speedrun two of endings half blind folded just so I could get the guns and not spoil myself.

And the stats have definitely been boosted in 2.0, as the damage is better than either of the revolvers, at least for an equal tier non-iconic version. It's also slightly better than Johnny's Malorian 3516.
I agree it makes sense, but I still want a silenced revolver!
I understand not allowing suppressor mods on revolvers, but it would’ve been nice to have a power revolver with an integrated suppressor. It’s a video game about crazy guns in the future.
What outfit pieces are you using?
Just cycle the dog town vendors, you should find everything!
In the Technical tree, if you refund Driver Update, it does actually get rid of that 3rd modifier to your cyberware until you put the perk back on. I was curious about this also, and looked at my currently equipped Cyberware with it both toggled on and off.
Hmm I’ll have to double check, I didn’t notice that happening.
I need a video on making a technical intelligence body build pretty please with sparkle on top
Great video man! One question: do the reflexes perks at 2:05 actually work? I feel like I can do them even without the perks
Not sure what perk your talking about
@@abrahamsandwich Muscle Memory and Multitasker specifically
Hmm 🤔 I’ll have to look into it.
This is really cool. I'm working on a Shinobi build. Dashing and deflecting bullets feels good :D
You can get an iconic lexington from wilson’s shooting range side job
Mine disappeared on me even though I already had it 🤷🏻♂️ I’ll probably just mod it ok later.
Might try this setup. Been doing a melee build but I do like using pistols and revolvers
What does mitigation do?
Chance to ignore all damage
What’s the white gear you got on looks sick
just got a lot of it over time and purchasing from the dog town shops!
I started using the chrome compressor os its actually pretty good yes bo slow time but its let's too put on powerful cyberware so its a trade off
Glad to see that you did end up discovering the power of Pride, even if you kinda discarded my recommendation on your first stream before trying it...
haha yeah, it's just better!
Funny how both of us went for pretty much the exact same build (just minor tweaks) ^^
I love this build thanks for the great video love yr style
love the video and the build, just thought i'd lyk, you can buy new iconic cyberware in dogtown, i'd love to see an updated build of whatever completely maxed out. Video is so well put togther fr
Hey, love the build and your video, keep it up!
I got some question for the build, if you don’t mind
1: Why use the Kerenzikov boost system if you don’t have a kerenzikov? Is it maybe because you just want more reflex Attuned cyberware or maybe it also work with other time slowing cyberware ?
2: You took the Cyborg perk but your a missing a cyberware in your frontal cortex, is it just a oversight or do you know if you only need all the cyberware in one category for it to work
(Ex:all nervous system slot fill so bonus active only for those cyberware)
I have the boost for the stats it’s gives. As for cyborg, I think I had all the slots filled before and forgot to take the point out.
@@abrahamsandwich thx for the response !
One thing I hope for a dlc is prob some focused on the cyberspace, we always hear about it and how dangerous it is. Granted idk if it would make sense story wise to have V inside the cyberspace like a new playable area, I was thinking while inside they can use the Blackwall powers like in one of the endings
There will be no further DLC, they are developing Cyberpunk 2 though

Yeah archangel is good! But the rate of amnesty is just too good, especially with a sandy active!
@abrahamsandwich lol, barely an hour after writing this, I got Amnesty, and I vastly prefer it's fire rate. I just thought I missed it in my playthrough and wanted to know how they compared to eachother. Amnesty's definitely got that "gunslinger" feel to it.
If you remove the perk for extra stat modifier on cyberware you lose the last line on your cyberware so you need to keep it.
Rosco and Ol' Reliable also are 2 OP Revolvers
Agreed! But the rate of fire of Amnesty is just too good!
you don’t really need all these movement perks for a stealth build, you can just go from cover to cover taking them out without ever getting into combat. also having a sandevistan is not a must with new changes as cool gives you time-slow when you aim so you could use a cyberdeck purely for turning off cameras, turrets and isolating enemies with sonic shock that also weakens stronger enemies so you can take them out with a headshot.
Where do you get the legendary XC-10 Strix suppresor? I have been hopping around and all i've managed was the xc10 cetus. I do infact have one strix suprisingly but I do not now where I got it. I wish to replicate what i did to obtain a new one lol
I hate it so much that you can't remove mods from weapons anymore, makes everything so much harder to build
Agreed, This would be my main change I want.
whats the name of music in the background 5:40 ?
I actually made it! I think I uploaded it to my sound cloud. look up "Abraham DiMare"
@@abrahamsandwich thank you!
I haven't even finished "The Heist" but have been head-hunting the cyber-psychos. But im only on 4 of the 17... however i cannot find any good weapons yet.
Fenrir is actually a really solid smg in act one!
so sad you didn't go trough your full cyberware, it feels something is missing imo :c

How do i get the 5.8% Headshot dmg multi on my Synaptic Accelerator?
I upgrade and everything but never found one with that stats on 6:15
when you upgrade cyebrwear to max level 5++ some stats change!
Yooooooo just stumbled on the Raiju quest accidentally and almost pooped my pants at the boat.
Skippy keeps me company.
Next build idea: Tank/hammer/gorrila fist build. Its so fun with max body, you just barrel through enemies.
Sleeping on Jackies pistols. Bonus Burn Chance, free ammo, higher than average base damage. It is the best silenceable pistol bar none. Especially since you can get them immeadiately after the Heist.
I used it for a while, it’s solid! Definitely up there in my list!
Just an fyi there actually is 1 revolver that lets you assign a silencer. That’s what I’m using in my build.
What revolver is that? I haven’t seen or herd of one.
Interesting build, deffo wanna try it was wondering I’m a fully new player but does the life path make any difference or just pick anything
I was sad because I wanted to do a build like this but I wasn't aware of how the game plays in 2.0. but what's funny is that I coincidentally speced my attributes perfectly for this and now I can just refund the perks and respec lol
Practically married myself to the osprey and rasetsu
Rogue’s pistol, in my experience, is far and away the best stealth pistol. It comes with the caveat of having to beat the game first, but my second run of PL was on a character that I’d beat the game with, and Rogue’s gun was my main pistol the entire time. It can one shots skull enemies because of its perk with Deadeye and Focus active. And it has a high headshot bonus damage percentage. It’s kinda ridiculous.
i hate that the best guns in the game are endgame weapons. i was hoping to use amnesty throughout a fresh playthrough
Im currently trying a sniper build with tech snipers and its alotbof fun and rewarding
I have a great idea for a challenge run, what if you try to make it through the game without using any drugs or alcohol so that would mean like no heals no buffs or you could do a completely organic challenge run so no cybernetics other than the ones forced on u
