I think this absolutely belongs here. Kae has always done poetry that speaks like a letter, and contemporary content is just as valid as historical letters
I can feel things changing too, my person Kae. Many of us can. And the hope is that it is changing toward humanity. Figuratively and literally violent as it is, the hope and drive in my heart is that it is changing toward magnanimous and benevolent humanity.
How dare you tear out my heart with such beauty and truth!
INCREDIBLE!!
Wow!
This was brilliant poetry.
I would’ve stood and clapped at the end of this had I been there.
Bravo! 🙌🏻
I absolutely love this. Thank you! What a hopeful song. Amazing.
Love Kae ❤
Damn...that gave me goosebumps. I've never seen anything else on this channel that has moved me as much as this did. Stellar performance.
What an incredible performance! The message is poetry Truth combined with hope encapsulated in each of us. Thank you.
Loved this. Thank to them and their work
What a beautiful gift! Tears of hope and familiarity. What a hopeful, life affirming poem. I feel optimistic that you have changed some lives after viewing this performance. My heart feels seen. Thank you!
What a talent!!! Speaks to me everytime. Thank you ❤
Just incredible. Thank you Kae 🙏
I love you Kae ❤❤❤
Gave me goosebumps ❤ from Australia
What I genuinely love the most about this, is Kae's face, I couldn't hold back the tears, because I can really feel and relate to the lyrics, peoples faces ❤
Absolutely Brilliant !
I hope many feel the same impact from this they do from a typical Letters, as Kae so deserves it as someone who has changed lives. Thank you for helping me understand that the struggle I felt was valid
Emotive and truly wonderous. It took Me a while to tap into Kae's style but when You hear her do something like this it's like wow! Special in a big way!
(As gently as I can: "they/them".)
I need a metal version of this
A rather fantastic human being.
Beautiful
This person is value!
Totally amazing artist.
Respect to Kae Tempest and other conscious British artists like
Lowkey, Akala, Sleafod Mods, Soft Play, AllFlaws
Bravo
Every time I hear this I end up in tears. Kae is just beautiful ❤
I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
OMG! That was fabulous!!
So beautiful
Beautiful choice for this channel.
Incredible Talent👌🏽
« That I can grasp » 🙏
Huge fan of Kae - but the voice sounds a lot different and deeper than it did prior. Respectfully, the songs have lost a lot of their power live because it now sounds completely out of tune.
Fire the audio team... All of them.
This is too morbid…I much prefer John Cooper Clarke’s poem…” Things are gonna get worse….reverse the hearse nurse”…..because …we need more happiness in the world.
I hear a lot of hope in here - it's found in people. The world is looking hopeless but that's only how it looks. We each have the opportunity and core capacity in us to bend the future back towards something kinder and better. Something deserving of broad hope. Kae sees the power and possibility in people - that's the poem.
It’s nice but I was hoping for comedy
I genuinely thought it was a man and I don't get the hype around them. There's nothing that really stands out.
100% agree. Another name no one will remember in 30 years time.
'their' work is just sooooooooo repetitive and BORING. and it wouldnt even be that bad if they actually had something to say, politically
Hmm very constructive you philistine 👍
Sounds like you can't hear what they're saying, hun.
God forbid someone has another opinion than you. No no, they must just not understand
Dat jij niet kan zien dat hier zoveeel gezegd wordt, is echt jouw gebrek en niet dat van kae.
THATS because alot of peoples lives are repetitive and boring , you need to listen to what is being said ! xx
