This stuff works!!! Worth every penny. I was having a terrible time trying to grow grass in hard, compacted soil that was formerly an overflow parking area off the driveway. Three years of failure before I tried the Jonathon Green Love Your Soil, the difference is unbelievable. Now using it with the alkaline to raise Ph at the same time. The results are obvious, your lawn will never look better or greener.
They still sell the mag i cal, and the “love your lawn” seperately. I usually use magical plus at the beginning of the season, regular mag i cal right before summer, and Love your lawn in fall
@HighDesertYards Hello, mine is 7.8 so and I'm applying the opposite product from the same company to bring mine down. How long did it take you to get it back down to a acceptable level? Did you do a soil test a few months later to see if it has dropped?
I did a soil test at last summer. Applied product. Did a test this Feb and it showed it dropped almost a full point. I’m just barely on the high side now. Need to come down a tad more.
The project lawn sure has come a long way It looks really good. We were in the mid 20s this morning but the extended forecast is showing afternoon highs in the mid 60s by the middle of the week. Have a great day.
I went to my local extension office and they let me borrow the tool to take my soil samples with and a collection bag. I can’t wait to get my results. Thanks for reviewing this product. If I need it, I’ll order it via your link.
I used the magical plus on my lawn when I seeded in fall. Done a soil test before ph was at 5.8 took one after ph went up to 6.2 I believe it's some good stuff.
Hey sir. If you’re in need of a new spreader. Check out the tractor supply entry level spreader. $59 bucks with pneumonic tires. I got one it’s pretty sweet.
I've learned through many Amazon purchases, it's not always accurate lol. I've tried this in my own lawn already, and it worked as advertised. By all means, stay tuned to see if we bring it up again!
Then you would want to use the same product I did in this video. It is based on your square footage. You can measure this yourself on the Yard Mastery app, or other online sites. Based on your measurements, that's how you want to go about spreading it. Being this lawn is 32-3500, and we are super low in ph, I used the entire bag.
Not 100% sure Brady. I don't believe it will jump to a 7, possibly around 6.5 if I had to guess. I'd apply it, feed it with fert, and test it in about 45 days to see.

I had a PH of 5.2 I've been using this product havent checked my ph since but it seems to be working

I used the alkaline version last summer. My pH went from 8.1 down to 6.9. Also helped to get my dirt more right, as Pete would say.
Thanks for sharing!

@@HighDesertLawns Good to know. I'm applying today and hopfully it will come down in time. Thank you!
The project lawn sure has come a long way

Thanks David, it's coming right along. Outlook seems to be warming for sure. God bless!

Best of luck and I greatly appreciate it
Perfect timing! Just received my soil results, and laws PH is through the roof.
Good catch sir. Hope JG can help you out too!
Looking forward to seeing the results of this and getting some for my own lawn.
Thanks Mr. K! It's worked well for me!
Anxious to see how that works I cld you that on my yard and food plots here in Ohio. Thanks
I’ve used this product line before and it absolutely helped. Early Spring is a great time if ph is off.

Thanks for sharing Aaron!
You can also use baking soda which will raise it quickly.

They do sell these products at Ace Hardware stores near me, in pa. Just n fyi
Jonathan green magic cal plus is great stuff always a great show thanks again brother
Agree, thanks Allen!
Your using a Scotts spreader vs a quality spreader?? Please advise
Project lawn looks very good! Have you tried a blower to blow residual product off the walk? I find it works better than a broom.
Absolutely. However, when you leave your house and try to remember all things, you sometimes forget things like the blower...or work shoes.
I do the same thing, forget some of the tools when I do a little work on my church property! 😂
In VA I pick up JG from my local True Value store
Awesome!!
Will there be irrigation on the project lawn?
Maybe a .5% chance, but not ever likely lol.
@@MrFergusonLawn looking forward to seeing how Cool Blue does without irrigation. Wanting to put it in my yard but no irrigation.
How long did it take to see results in your yard while using this product. Thanks
Can you recommend a good analog soil Ph tester? Most I have used give false readings.
Amazon gave this stuff mixed reviews so I’m curious to see how it does. Great content 🤙

How do you figure how much to put down? My lawn is too acidic.

No soil test is it too late for it? Moss is taking over my lawn
You can always soil test, long as you don’t have frozen ground and it’s been at least 45 days since fertilizing.
I have a 6.1 soil ph for st augustine if i use this bag on my 5k sq ft lawn what will it jump it up to 7? Or like 6.5
Not 100% sure Brady. I don't believe it will jump to a 7, possibly around 6.5 if I had to guess. I'd apply it, feed it with fert, and test it in about 45 days to see.
Hey how long did it take for the fusilade 2 and recognition to start showing signs of killing the bermuda grass?
Curious to see how much the ph comes up
Me too! We will test before 2nd app of this.
I need to get the one that lowers pH
We have the links below! I've used that one in my lawn and it brought it down as advertised.
This stuff really raised my ph. but since it works so fast, I'm curious how long it last.
Good point, and I’m not sure on that one. That’s why testing is so crucial!
