Isn't it circular reasoning to prove Christianity from the Bible?

“You can’t use the Bible to prove the Bible! That’s circular reasoning!” Is this true? Sometimes people think that the Bible can’t be used a source of the truth about Christianity because it was written by Christians - but is this really the full picture?
