I remember watching Soul Menn around the time of Bernie's passing and thinking that this is a fine tribute to Bernie's legacy. Bernie had the ability to be funny as hell; he had so many tools in his comedy toolkit. At the same time, he could be really warm and soulful, like how he was with his sitcom. I think if Bernie wanted to he could've been a tremendous dramatic actor. Look at Soul Men.

His daughter pretty much agreed with much of what Kat said. She did it with grace and dignity. I loved the emphasis on how genuine she found him to be. You can be jealous of talent and genious all u want. It is what it is. Loved her emphasis on the people who she knew were fake about her dad.
