Religion hasn't figured out the "unconditional love" part of its own tenant, at least not by those charged to push the doctrine onto others. Dogs love unconditionally, so, "In Dog We Trust" is just as a worthy statement of fact to be printed on coins and license plates as is "In God we Trust".
