It feels SOOO good to finally update you on the A-Frame! 😃 Btw, I'm trying to reach 300 000 subscribers before the end of this year, so if you want to wanna continue watching this a-frame series, and get notified when I upload future episodes, don't forget to subscribe ❤
I just enjoy watching whatever you have to share, I couldn't imagine judging how long you take to do what you do, or why you have different situations with things. We are all unique, and nobody knows about all the reasons we do anything. That is what I think the hardest thing about youtube would be: putting yourself out there in honesty and good spirit, and then have people give their opinions of negative judgement.
Hi Kalle! Great work! Things take as long as they take. You just have to trust that things are happening in their own perfect timing. I am sure anyone seeming "impatient" about your timeline is really just super interested and excited to see the finished product. I am not that interested in construction, in general, but always enjoy your A Frame videos and renovation videos. I realize that it is your presence, vibe and incredible talent that draws me in. I think you could put together a video solely watching water boiling or grass growing and I would find it fascinating, lol. It is all you-- your talent at filmmaking and editing, your authenticity, your integrity and values, etc. And Christine, August, Tus & Nala always add an extra special touch to the videos as well. I am just a big fan of everything you guys put out there and am grateful that you keep doing it!
My parents always said that as well! Your hand shake is your word! It isn’t that way anymore! I agree , in writing and notarized! There are honest people but very few and far between! I am from the old school! You are doing a fantastic job Kalle! God bless you and your precious family!❤️
@KalleFlodin absolutely. You're such a force of nature. You don't give up. No matter how long things will take. By the way this strength is the same that Christine showed all the long and not easy path you and she have been through on your parenthood journey those past 2 years. Guys you're super heroes
So nice to see you going on with the A-Frame project. It looks beautiful now and it will turn out most beautiful when it's finished. As someone who loves building and has built an own house together with my spouse for our family for three years now and we are far away from finishing it, I say, enjoy the process, don't hurry to to finishing it. Take your time and your pace. I'll stay here for more updates in the future.
I love your Aframe. The roof is beautiful!! You are such a hard worker. When I saw you taking the wooden tiles up to the AFrame in the wheel barrow that made me tired just watching you 🤣 Much love to you, Christina & your beautiful baby boy from the USA ♥️
So did your friends advise editing your explanation nd is this it. If not, you are amazingly polite about the whole thing. Much respect to you and wishing you a speedier completion!
Hej Kalle! Wow! I'm blown away, just got recommended part 1 of the A Frame Build today and had to binge watch all of the episodes :D Awesome stuff!! One small suggestion: I see some focus breathing (1:39), and I believe I've seen you film on a Sony a7s III, right? If so, you can turn on focus breathing compensation (introduced with firmware update 3.00). Cheers and happy building✌🏼
I'm happy that you have found your way here 🥰 Thank you so much! Haha yes I know, I also had a new lens 14mm 1.8, so it was struggling to keep focus when it was so shallow
Thank you for the update, Kalle! It's going to be awesome when it's finished :) I had a similar experience with a contractor and learned the same lesson. I'll have everything written down & signed before working on a new project with someone moving forward. Keep up the great work!
Don't worry about it! haha people who have been watching your videos know there is a lot going on in your life, not sure the builds. Take your time and do it right, to YOUR liking.
I am curious how it will look like in the end. I think it is good for a relationship that each one have a personal space. So I can totally understand the need for the studio. A question that came up to my mind: do you need some sort of rain rim or something like that? And how will you solve fire safety?
Hi Kalle, The A- Frame is looking amazing. Excited to see it finished. I was curious weather you will be using it as a guest house when family and friends visit. A perfect spot to bed down. ❤
@@KalleFlodin Hej hej. Never actually thanked you for your recommendation on that breathing book. It was the first audiobook I could stand to listen to until the end. Also thanks for all the content you are sharing: despite all the hard times you went through the parts you share almost always look amazing.
You shouldn't have to explain it to people honestly, you both were busy with christine's pregnancy her health issues with that , the birth and then raising an infant. Those were the most important priorities and they take time. However I am glad you're finally getting the A frame along and hope to see the outcome soon for both of yours sake to have space for working
Hej! Lite funderingar kring ventilationen i byggnaden. Är det tänkt att vara självdrag eller hur kommer det se ut med tanke på tätheten kring fönster, dörrar
Kalle, I agree…..no one likes a dishonest people. I’ve had a few life lessons, too, and it sure makes one more leery. Your A frame is going to be perfect for you when it is completed! You have a beautiful piece of property to raise your lovely family on. Always wishing you the best! My greetings to Christine and August, too! Love from Pennsylvania, USA💕🌷🐻
I always look forward to your videos. The only thing that I feel for you is that you shouldn’t have to explain why you haven’t done it in a certain way or why you’ve prioritize it over something else. That’s your business and if you choose to share your videos with us then we have to understand that it’s your life not ours.
What a coincidence… we’re in Ramsele and we were talking about you and your A-Frame project. Funny that you uploaded the video today. Wish you all the best.
Well. . . . I have the same problem. A great idea that takes me years to finish!! I've had a set of front doors in my garage for over a year. When are they going in? Hmmm, it's fall now so can't leave the doors off for an extended time. There is always something you find that doesn't work and then you have more work to do. My house is over 50 years old. Is it still square? Not so likely. So now next year looks like a good idea. Fortunately the doors on my house now are ok so it's not a priority. Next year? Of course!!
looks amazing Kalle, 🙏🙏👍👍👍 and your own piece of paradise in The Forest.. take care keep healthy.. hugs to your wife and son.. and you too. lovely. project 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👏👏
Can’t wait to see the rest of the build ! Yes, I agree that getting things in writing is the only way to go ! You are a kind and trusting person and it’s sad that the first builder seemed to apparently take advantage of your kindness.
In fact, I always get very happy and enjoy watching each of your videos 😁✌️. Like everything in life, everything takes its time and according to me, the A-Frame project is progressing nicely and I'm already looking forward to the next video.
I fondly remember spending a few nights near Nordmaling in 1977, and watching a bicycler at 2 a.m. and it was very light outside. We were visiting where my farmor grew up, and meeting some people who knew the family before they immigrated in 1925. It's so beautiful up there. Suggestion re: sleeping- Boiron homeopathic Coffea Cruda has been helpful for me. I used to work nights as a RN, and generally stay up late- but there are times when I need to sleep for an early appointment and it's nearly impossible. The Coffea Cruda has helped a lot. They are non-toxic, and have been a lifesaver many nights. Also, sleeping mask... cuts out the light nearly %100.
I am excited for you about the progress on the studio. I also am someone who used to go by someone's word as their bond, a handshake, etc. Unfortunately, like you, I've had hard life lessons and it cost me dearly.. A well-written contract is your only defense against scrupulous folk.. and even then only the lawyers win.
I have friends with summer houses that have the steel roof like your knockout and they (and I) decided that there is no other way to go. Quick to put up, silent in the rain, and they last forever. Possibly a little more expensive than wood shingles. And while you don’t need to worry, wooden shingles are more of a fire risk. It’s all looking good, though. I would love a little 50-100 square meter A-Frame as my home!
Dear Kalle, I would love to help you reach 300 000 follower, but I subscribed a long time ago. But I'm thinking about becoming a member. I can't just decide because things aren't looking good for me financially, but you are the only channel where it would really give me great pleasure to support you. 🙂

@@drivingbro mid November, with a flashback to summer for continuity.

Sorry people are bugging you about these things. Well done for handling it with humour! ❤
Haha it's absolutely no problem, I'm actually just happy people are showing an interest in these projects 🥰

@KalleFlodin Oh wow that's awesome! I settled for the 16mm - couldn't quite justify yours for my couple dozen subs at the time🫠
@@lukestoolbox My idea was to have it for mostly astro photography, but it became my main vlog lens, haha 😊

Absolut, det är ju vad den här livsstilen handlar om 😊 Kul att du gillar valen jag gjort!
I work mostly remotely and I would love to have a little log cabin in the woods to work.
Wow, i have snow and cold and you in the north have spring. xD
Yay, another video!
Wohoooo 😍
🎉Very beautiful location you have.😊
It's our little paradise 🥰
Thanks for sharing your hard-won lesson. ❤
Thank you for listening to it 🥰
The A frame is coming along very nicely! Thanks for sharing!
The roof is beautiful wow they did great job on roof.
They sure did 🥰
Just a comment to boost you in the algorithms: happy to see progress, hope you are doing well and stay safe!

That's kind of you, thank you for the boost 💪❤️
Bravo Kalle!

So so happy for you Kalle! Completely forgot about this. Curious to see how the inside turns out 😏🙏
These wooden tiles are called shindles.😅
Katie you need to get yourself a 4 wheeler and a little tailer for the back of it to get your supplies to your house .Looks good.
Oh my goodness my heart skipped a beat. Please think about your safety before standing on the roof like that. 🫣
Blir det någon värmekälla? 😊
Ja ett litet element 😊 Det finns inte riktigt plats till en liten kamin och det skulle bara göra a-framen till en bastu, haha
Great progress. It looks really big inside almost like a little bunk cabin 😊 keep going x
Even one that has seen it IRL have been really surprised how big it is on the inside 🥰

For all who don’t natively think metric, 3 decimeters is 30 cm or about 12 inches.
