Thank you for the recipe…I made a little change…..I boil water 1/4 cup depending how many dates….I put 4 dates in a little bowl….let it for 5 o more minutes….let cool a little….then I peeled the dates…that way is no date skin flowing around….like I saw it in the recipe….as always….each have choices…..just saying…..also the dates can be made as a delicious sauce….adding a little of water in case is too thick….

I love the idea however I will on occasion put cinnamon all spice and or nutmeg little ginger to make it taste more like Apple pie
