Hello Sophie! The reason why the Tunisian couscous is red is just because we use tomato and harissa in it which give it the red color unlike the Moroccan couscous which is yellow! Another thing, couscous is north African not only Moroccan. Hummus is the chickpeas! The guys in the video did not know the name in English. Harissa is absolutely NOT Arabian or Arab as the guy said in the video because you can only find it in Tunisia, it's a Tunisian flavor/food. I hope you find my comment helpful and you are always welcome to our country 💜
Harissa it means chilly paste in english like tomato paste عجين طماطم/ عجين فلفل
also we can said sometimes hot sauce when it'll be juicy..n by the way we can find couscous in other countries like syria..and in palestine called "maftool" مفتول

For sure, you can find couscous even in India but still a 100% north African food/dish 😊

I am actually surprised you found Tunisian food similar to Korean. It is very hard to find a Korean meal with no pork derivatives in it, something you will never see in Tunisian cuisine. Tunisians use mainly wheat and barley as their primary source of carbs, whereas Koreans get their carbs essentially from rice. There are also many vegetables that Koreans eat that are totally unknown for Tunisians.
