+Iskusmarines no that's wrong if your dumb enough to get pregnant as a teenager u must be responsible enough to take care of the child you can't just run away from your responsibilities even when it might cost you your college education
Love his story. I'm from New Orleans and I was only raised there for 3 years because of Katrina. Spent most of my life in Georgia, but I always wanna go back home. #504baby
To see where he is now makes me so happy. 3x 1st Team All-Pro. HOF all decade team. SB champ. As somebody who’s been through a lot of things as a young man, this dude is a role model to me now.
I remember being pretty hard on Tyrann for his troubles at LSU. In fact, I was angry at him for throwing away opportunities many young men wish they could have. I'm just glad he has a chance to do great things. I wish him nothing but the best..👌🏽
TheLifeOnHigh ya he was my role model, and my fav player by far and when that happened I was in 5th grade, in short and wanted to be a cb at LSU, now I wanna be a rb though
as a long time tiger fan-- I want to say that everyone I know is so proud of the hard work that you have put in to bring yourself back to what we all know you are--- a fearless, great competitor and an man working hard to become a better man and a better player. We here in Baton Rouge are all behind you man. I never watched a cardinal game before Patrick and you went there, but I try not to miss one when I can get it here in la. I know you will come back from this latest injury too, but regardless, you have brought a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people and you are an inspiration to all people looking for and willing to work for a second chance. Get well soon, and I wish you the best in life.
Do non starters that won't even go in and are not even in a uniform but jut standing on the sideline behind the players but still on the roster get super bowl rings?
I remember wanting the Browns to draft him so bad coming out! But it's probably a great thing that he got drafted by the Cardinals to be with Patrick Peterson. He seemed to be a strong support for Tyrann.
Man I’m so happy for this guy. True definition of how someone can change and how sometimes all it needs is a bit of a shift in your environment and inner circle.
TM the HB. My brother & sister played basketball at LSU. My brother on the 86 Final 4 team, drafted by Denver. You overcame life struggles. God Blessed you. Your struggles made you who you are today. I was at 7 of LSU games when you were there. YOU won the West Virginia game. But, you won life when you overcame darkness. Much love and prosperity HB!!!
Great to see the Tyrann turn it around and be a star in the NFL after a troubled past. I'm a Redskins fan but I've always had a soft spot for the Cards and they did a great thing by drafting him. No doubt the Honey Badger made a commitment to do better, but it's also great that he had RESPECTED veterans/professionals like Fitz and Patrick Peterson willing to give advice and help him along the way.
I just read your story and currently listening to your journey. For what it’s worth...you are an example of what end results look like. Clearly you worked hard, overcame struggles and kept moving forward! I don’t know how you did it. I am a proud Chiefs fan. Keep on moving on!
Coming from a Broncos fan....... I'm very proud of the Badger. He has come a long way and I'm glad. Congrats to the Badger and the Chiefs on your SuperBowl win. GO BRONCOS
I was born in N.O. my parents moved us here to LA when I was ten yrs old. I'm 59 yrs old I still claim New Orleans. Marshall Faulk now him I love it when I see huge success stories about people from N.O.
Honeybadger don't give a fuck....wait what's that? Honeybadger got jammed up by some defense, tore some ligaments? Honeybadger just takes a long nap and rests for a few months aaaaaaaaand what's that? Honeybadger pick 6!! Honeybadger don't care bout torn ligaments, Honeybadger don't give a fuck!!
Hey Tyrann, I am truly proud of u. My mom CC loves u. She has been watching u since LSU. As sad as it is, my brother Tu-Tu is locked up with ur biological dad Tyrone. I also know ur adopted mom Shelia who is a sweet person, ur aunt Zan she is my friend. Keep up the good work baby. Stay positive and let nothing hold u back r down. Cocalicious
So much love for TM7 it brings me to tears- I couldn't be more proud if he were my own son. God bless you, PP7 for standing by him. You both continue to be amazing examples for all of us on the bayou. T-I-G-E-R-S...TIGERS!!
So proud he is now a Chief. What a great story of overcoming the odds and now being a leader of a team SB bound. Mad respect from a white boy in KCMO ✌️
+Papa John honey Devery Henderson will probably be the last tiger ever to come to NOLA. Might as well accept it now. Bet u bout a dollar they wont run after Fournette when he leaves for the draft after this season!
Mad respect out to this young man for making it out of New Orleans and respect out to his grandparents and adoptive parents for giving him an opportunity to make something of himself. ANYONE WHO MAKES IT OUT OF NEW ORLEANS IS BLESSED. IT IS REAL SAVAGE DOWN THERE💯🙏Oh yeah and he is definitely a first rounder they just wanted to make him sweat
If the footage exists from the airing of this video, i'd LOVE to see everything up to the start of the upcoming season. What a moving human being. From the Cards nasty DB core to the Chiefs mesmerizing talents. Superbowl W and L. I can't wait to see where he's going either.
I'm a Junior, I'm from Lake Charles Louisiana and I only played 1 1/2 years of football in highschool because of grades. I now go to a continuation school in California and I miss football I'm not going to be able to play football in highschool never again but this isn't gonna stop me. I look up to Tyrann he's been my favorite player since 09 been following him since. Just remember the name....Rogers Williams

I didn't know much about the Badger. I'd hear a million references but still no knowledge. As a present Chiefs fan, I was skeptical of his acquisition. This dude is for real and this is a great video. Tyrann...you the man! I am so proud of you facing and conquering tough situations to land with the Chiefs. I'll say it again, I was skeptical, but in a couple of games I am now a big fan. Keep up the hard work! Very impressed!
i look up to this guy. we wear the same number play the same position and from the same state. ive been through alot and watching hime make the nfl and get to play again inspired me to workout get back in shape and start from semi pro and make my way to the CFL.

Watching these guys play for LSU was so electric - their intensity just raised the game... I remember the day he got booted from the team. It hurt not because of mad feelings, but rather because his talent was undeniable and football was the gateway to accomplishing a dream and a ticket to a better life. As for Patrick Peterson, their friendship was instrumental in guiding Ty through some rough & uncertain waters - that brotherly love really kept him in the game and that he got drafted by the Cardinals tells you everything you need to know! We always look forward to seeing the guys return to LSU and encourage the next generation - it’s a special place and the chance of rain... ZERO! #GeauxTigers #ForeverLSU #NFLSU #HoneyBadger
Even as a niners fan I love him and pat p. Such likable guys with such a noticeable love of the game. I'd be fans of then even of they weren't AMAZING.
Congratulations young man on your heart, dedication & faith in yourself. Super Bowl Champions. Stay on point you can be the next Steve Atwater or Ed Reed.
I remember when he was a kid before he went to high school.. I use to school him lol but he was only 13 & i was 19 but for a kid he had amazing speed and I remember I said to myself he is going to make it and he did Lil Tee did it. We played in Melanie Park in the 8th ward I remember it like it was yesterday
This guy earned my respect when he was suspended from LSU, and instead of whining about it, he accepted responsibility and still showed up to the games to support his team. Glad to see his success at the next level.
Also knew Pat had something to do with landing him in Arizona! LOL! He was the first name that came to mind when Tyrann's name called! And of COURSE I was pissed as hell b.c I thought New Orleans was about to wrap him up in the 3rd for sure! I'd never forget that moment b/c N.O was RIGHT behind ARI after that pick. Still can't believe he was ONE pick away from staying home! New Orleans can most certainly use him in their secondary right about now
People only say that because he is surrounded by the ones who got him in a whole , however, half of LSU Draft picks play for Arizona, so It's almost like he never left Baton Rouge. I honestly think he would have stayed clean under the wing of Sean Payton cause he don't put up with that shit. Anthony Hargrove had a drug history before coming to the saints and he stayed put of trouble.
the idea that they test for anything but PEDs is ridiculous. I don't care what these athletes do, as long as they aren't taking something that makes them bigger and stronger I don't see the issue.
The system is what's the problem the want to punish you for a drug that's legal in 20 states. This system only wishes to destroy you they lock you up with no real programs to rehabilitate you back as a better person settle you back and letting you go like you can beat all odds when they stack the odds against you
yeah but you don't pay them millions to play the game. if your boss doesn't want you to do something, don't do it or look elsewhere for work. it's great that Tyrann turned his life around.
When I saw him get up after he literally shredded his ACL and hamstring 😳 to me he will always be the honey badger!! @tyrannmathieu love to watch you play!
As a raider fan and even though he’s a chief mad respect to tyrann what he went through and what he over came is amazing as a former alcoholic sober 2 years now I look up to honey badger what he’s done on and off the field just wow
Tyrann Mathieu was the most exciting LSU player ever. In 2011, the numerous forced fumbles, the punt returns for touchdowns against Arkansas and Georgia and the numerous other clutch plays made him one of the greatest LSU tigers (despite the mistakes he made). He is the true number 7.
St. Augustine's finest. Purple Knights all day. Notice the structure and rich foundation from his adopted family. Well done Mathieu and congrats on getting that Super Bowl ring. You've earned it that is for sure. Side note - thanks Patrick Petersen for taking this young gun under your wing. See you in Canton, OH.
I will never forget the day I met him at the sawgrass mall back in 2013, I shook his hand and told him I was his biggest fan. I would love to be his Realtor.
He doesn't know where his mom is and his dad is facing jail for life. Oh yeah only reason Tyrann started smoking was because his uncle introduced it to him at age 12. (not his adoptive uncle)
Matthew Joseph his dad in jail for killing someone but prolly still proud bc that's his seed regardless hopefully they can reunite don't know why he killed someone
That boy got a ring now .. shout out to the chiefs for seeing how great of a player he is💪🏾..
Big money badger

We would've messed up if we got earl Thomas instead
He does not have a ring yet they don’t get them till the next season starts

Bravo on his uncle for stepping up!
wait this man torn his ACL , IT band , LCL AND hamstring and jogged off the field like a savage ?!?!?

+Iskusmarines no that's wrong if your dumb enough to get pregnant as a teenager u must be responsible enough to take care of the child you can't just run away from your responsibilities even when it might cost you your college education
Or you know, you can give him up for adoption to a loving family with the financial stability to raise a child.

I love the relationship between these two. So awesome what Peterson did for him
The NFL really should make movies based on the stories players have
LittleBoneless it's called a "football life"
Hmm maybe they could call the channel, "NFL films"
nah I think hes talking more like a motion picture you would see in a theater or something...kinda like the blindside but different players stories
not documentaries
The Blindside

Big time player at LSU!! If Tyranny would've played his junior year at LSU he would've been a TOP 15 pick in the 2013 NFL draft. Hands down
I think he dropped to the 3rd because of the off the field issues not because of talent
You are an amazing, wonderful, beautiful man, Tyrann. God bless you and keep you.

As a raider fan and even though he’s a chief mad respect to tyrann what he went through and what he over came is amazing as a former alcoholic sober 2 years now I look up to honey badger what he’s done on and off the field just wow
I like this guy and he is a hellava football player
Tyrann Mathieu was the most exciting LSU player ever. In 2011, the numerous forced fumbles, the punt returns for touchdowns against Arkansas and Georgia and the numerous other clutch plays made him one of the greatest LSU tigers (despite the mistakes he made). He is the true number 7.
I LOVE THIS BOY!!! Kansas City Chiefs Baby!!!💋❤🏈😎😘🥰 We love the Honeybadger!!!😘🥰🏈😎💙💚💛❤🧡
A testimony to what a good support system can do. I know his biological mom and dad are proud of him. 🤘🏿❤️💯
The SEC conference had stacked players
back then
SilverSpadeLord still do lol
SilverSpadeLord they still do like lernard fournate and btw I am from Louisiana
SilverSpadeLord fun gameplay for up
And now he's a super bowl champ! Amazing how God can turn your life around when you act right!
Whose here after 31-9?
Man I wish he played for NOLA😍
I will never forget the day I met him at the sawgrass mall back in 2013, I shook his hand and told him I was his biggest fan. I would love to be his Realtor.
My favorite player of all-time. Da damn Honeybadger
Mad respect for Patrick Peterson. What a mentor
Now the chiefs have a great pleasure to have a player like this
Loved watching him when he played for us at LSU. One of the best ball hawks I've ever seen.

+Landon Turnernpoihi
I bet his real parents want him back
He doesn't know where his mom is and his dad is facing jail for life.
Imagine how the dad feels, he in jail for life and he’s in there knowing his son is a NFL Star
omar s2002 in
@@reignsupreme7686 His dad was a fiya RB at JMcD in New Orleans. The story is online about the incident that happened to put Mr.Hayes in jail.
