Ok so let me get this straight (reference to 2nd story) You and your buddies go hunting animals in the forest and then when a bear attacks your bestie, you’re traumatised ... ummmm ok
If that end story is true that is absolutely heartbreaking. For the kid obviously, but also for the guy. That is something you would never live down and I couldn't imagine having to bear that weight for the rest of my life.
I'm just having a really, really hard time to think, that's in fact a true story - imo, it's a totally made up horror/ghost fairy tale. As where would that kid suddenly come from in the night, exactly so shortly after the others had tried to convince him of that other ranger's creepy death? & How would the other, older rangers know, that first dead kid's "bloated body" dragged him into the water to drawn him (with a "smile on his face") - these were just by far too many weird details for me, to accept this story as a believable one! Also, compared to those amounts of unbelievable details, he gave zero details about the second dead kid (making the story even more nonsensical) - so admittedly it sounded great and heartbreaking, but don't watch it twice to find any logical explanations.

Honest question, wouldn’t putting teeth in a plastic bag that you had your lunch in be considered cross contamination of evidence? Or since they use the inner tissues of the teeth to identify victims does it not matter?
Yes. You'd risk contaminating it with your own DNA too. It would be much better to call the police out so they could search the whole area for evidence and recover it properly. But TBH they might not be willing to do that for a handful of teeth. DNA testing is expensive and there's no evidence of a crime. Still, I'd let the police decide that for themselves, instead of risking messing up a crime scene.
I think that as someone who is not a professional and was just trying to get the evidence to the police they wouldn't press charges. Usually tampering with evidence has to be intentional I think. Plus, I think he was worried about leaving them there because if that other guy left the teeth there he might come back and take the evidence before the police could get there.
What i want to know is, was the story he heard at first even real? He said that when he was confronting the two rangers once the paramedics got there, that they had no clue what "story" he was talking about. Yeah, he just got angry at them thinking they were lying, but what of they werent lying? What if they actually had never told him that story?
@@floorboards1500 that's probably the case for most of these lmao. That's why I usually listen to true crime podcasts about documented cases. I just like these channels as a side thing every now and then haha

Hearing very realistic sounds of someone drowning and just ignoring it? I don't feel bad for the guy one bit. It's a sad story, the rangers are grade A asshats - But overall, he should of checked...
Love it when the stories are, at the very least, grounded in reality. A quick search yields results about Carol Sund, and Silvina Pelosso were indeed killed and found in a burnt out car by "a man" (Does not say anything about a forest ranger, which it should).

As us locals say “Montana is the last best place on earth!” Meaning everywhere else has been mostly tainted by humans where Montana has barely been touched compared to everywhere else! Love that you had a story from my home! You should try to contact the man that got attacked by a black bear TWICE and survived! I'm sitting up listening to something creepy, as is my norm I've dealt with insomnia for as long as I can recall. All is pleasant, calm. Wife fell asleep with her little nite light on again. When from somewhere above me a large, & highly motivated spider, decides to drop down onto my chest. I blame my wife, if not for that goofy light I may have just flicked, blindly at a possible fly, but no, I got to look deep into all 6 or 8 of its eyes. After a small, spastic, freak out, & some choice words, she is somehow still asleep, the cat is judging me, & the spider, is probably fine no worse for ware.
Insomnia can be caused by VITAMIN B deficiency. Also how much water are you drinking??? How is your blood pressure and sugars?. Do u go for walks?. Peace from England UK
The birds at the end of the video really gave me chills. Seeing as everyone of the stories were about nature. Its a good thing that the sun is only a hour and a half to rising thank goodness for the daytime bc i did not sleep none tonight. Thanks Lets Read! Great Video 👍
The last one. Even if he thought they were pranking, he should've checked anyways. Looking like an idiot is a better alternative to letting a person die. I don't like the way he handled it.
Story three: So, the guy was afraid his friend would bleed out by the time he got him to some place that could help him... but considered leaving him there while he went to get help. Which would take *longer*. Yes, I'm sure a medical center would allow a man who'd had "chunks of flesh" ripped off him just leave right away to go out drinking with his buddy... WTF, dude?
Also, usually Grizzly Bears are not known to actively hunt humans. A Grizzly Stalking two people, having a gun shot close to its ears, then getting bear sprayed, yet it still came back later to stalk them. This behaviour is practically never seen in grizzlies, especially not in the spring-summer seasons. In the rare instance that a grizzly would eat a human, park rangers must hunt it down and kill it Also, seasoned Hikers are unaware of emergency phone lines? And how national parks have a rescue force on hand that uses special phone lines that you can call even when you’re out of normal cellular range? I live in Canada about 2 hours away from where he’s describing, and I can personally tell you that the sequence of events described is very suspicious
That guy in story 3 seems to have no clue how wolves behave if he thinks they'd just immediately go after a pair of full-grown humans and tear them apart. That kind of mentality regarding them is kind of a big reason why wolves were on the Red List until a few years ago and are regionally extinct in most of America.
Right, you would have to be alone at the very least, and most likely be something like a lone child or very elderly person and why on earth would either of those people be alone in the middle of no where. haha. They tend to avoid people at all costs anyway.
Not to mention them describing grizzlies as ‘murder machine’. But They are hunters. What do we expect, them singing lullabies to wolf pups? These are people who fear for their own lives while taking others’ for ‘sport’. And then expect (& get) sympathy online. 🙄
Wolves will circle a group of adults hunting, but not necessarily attack. You see wolves often in MT, they arent as rare of a sight as other places. I've lived in Montana my whole life and worked at Glacier Park. And also, you are not allowed to hunt in Glacier National Park, it is not legal.
My family and I are from Maine, most of my family and I still live here. My brother moved to Montana for a few years years ago, Bozeman specifically, and when he came back, he was never the same. I don't know what happened out there, but I certainly miss my brother as he used to be. Montana is beautiful and I envy some of his time there, but he's definitely a shell of who he used to be.
I hate "hunters " who get a kick out of maiming and killing animals and fail to understand that animals kill to survive, and not for enjoyment. They are why animals don't trust any humans.
The last story was superb, one of the best I have ever heard on UA-cam, but it was extremely sad. I appreciate the writer’s willingness to share. Thanks.
I love your videos Let’s Read! You actually inspired me to make my own scary themed UA-cam channel and I should be coming with some scary videos soon. I love the content you make and I’m going to love making scary videos of my own that people will enjoy watching!😊
The one about Arkansas was nice. I live there and I’ve gone hiking around most of the forests and parks we have here. It’s a beautiful place, but we’re allowed to shoot or stab an animal that’s attacking us. Cops are(usually) on the side of “well you were defending yourself and they weren’t paying enough attention to such a clearly dangerous animal”.
Man I listened to a video called Horrifying Search and Rescue Stories by Corpse Husband 4 years ago and I want a sequel to that! This video fills that void thanks
Whomever commits a horrific murder ,gets caught and goes to trail and found guilty, then what he or her has done to their victims should be done to them. An eye for an eye. Murders would go way down.
Dude totally weird me out the very 1st story. This happened 3/18/99. My son was born 3/28/99 and I live in Oregon. I absolutely love our green absolutely gorgeous forests to our amazing beaches but their is def something in our forests. I'm 42 and have grown up camping, never seen anything but certainly heard screeching/yelling that woke me. My son was 4 months at the time and my heart thumped so hard I thought it would thump out of my chest.
Recognized immediately that first story for I also lived thru it. Great rendition Brother! I remember how horrid it left me feeling, since I was an avid hiker backpacker at the time. Yosemite was my stomping ground! TY Lord for the Blessing of NEVER crossing paths with Cary Stayner!!!😱😱👍🙏🏻😁
Not sure about that last story. Just how many little boys are drowning in that lake? And wouldn't parents have raised a huge alarm when they discover their boys are missing at the various times, rousing the different rangers before the bodies were discovered? Also, strange how the bodies were said to have washed up on the shore quietly, as if the rangers were the only ones aware, and both washed ashore right at the shoreline points of the cabins the rangers were staying at that night.
Gosh, poor guy, last story. Heart breaking 💔 😢😢 The girl in the wood's, in Maine. Oh my she sure was lucky to get out of there for real Joel. Thank you ❤
Don't you fucking dare try to shoot a wolf. And wolfs do not attack unless they feel threatened or you come near their pups. But they do hunt in packs. Hunters fucking disgust me.
My mom grew up in Foresta, a little ways outside of Yosemite. She met and hung out with Cary Stayner a couple of years before he committed the murder. It’s crazy to think about what he was capable of.
Story 3: wolves aren't a natural predator of humans and kill by going for the throat. The chances of you being attacked by wolves are highly unlikely. The chances of being eaten alive by wolves are next to nothing. Bears, though...bears ARE a natural predator of humans and our species has feared them for a very long time. It's easy to forget when you see videos of them being big goofballs playing, but they can be very dangerous and often are.
Ok. I am generally a skeptical person. However, I was driving from Memphis, TN to Louisville, KY after being at a bowl game. Go CARDS! Anyway, it was extremely cold and light snow was falling. I had just past from Tennessee into Kentucky. The snow started to get heavier. As I got closer to Mammoth Cave the interstate was covered in snow and ice. I was driving about 40 mph. Unfortunately, a guy in front of me had just slid off of the road. He was decked out in Cardinal gear so we stopped to help him out. Just as everyone was getting back on the road we saw a huge, hairy "man" walking towards us. He, it, whatever, had a stench that was horrid. We were all dumbfounded. As he drew closer we realized that it was a Bigfoot-like creature. We got out of there as soon as possible. A few weeks later a Bigfoot research called me to ask about that experience. He said that the area where we were is one of the places that has a great amount of Bigfoot sightings. I am a believer now.
It's a good thing the OP in the first story took all the requisite courses to be a park ranger even though it's never something they thought they'd do with their life! That environmental science degree and what not came in handy.
These are great park stories. And I'm a park person-- once a day hike with my dogs for 19 years. But you know, the last story....I don't think that one is true. It can't be ....it's creepy pasta fiction, right? I mean what's a little boy doing out on the lake at night? Seems other park rangers set dude up? Something's off about that story.
I don’t remember which story asked if they should make a book? But they definitely should !!! It was an interesting story, it would be nice to know more !! Possible even making it a movie !
Brilliant.😆 So relaxing on my day off work. Also lashings of rain here in ireland... A wonderful combination.😆😉..Thanks so much. Of course anyone who hunts and kills animals for fun is a very scary person indeed...👿
I question story 3's authenticity, hunting in US National Parks is absolutely forbidden in every form of the word. I live in Montana and been to Glacier several times.
Good Lord! The coldest breeze just went over my leg. Only on my leg. No windows open, no fan, door closed. Even my vent is closed. That was friggin cold🥶🥶🥶
Ok, freaking out now. I just recorded the room with my cell. Three orbs, could be dust. But a whispering voice saying something that sounds like T4, then a dark growly voice says something including T4 and some weird noises. That was very messed up. I saw the orbs about 4 months ago in almost every video where my kid is. I sleep with her, so that's why the orbs are here. That's nuts. T4, clear as a damn bell
Bear spray is intense. I wanted to see how far it would spray. I checked the wind direction, but that wasn't fool proof. Lol We didn't even breathe in that much and it was like suffocating needle lungs. It was hilarious. The spray actually went really really far. It works!
I like the narration. Soothing voice. Comfortable listen. Just wish you would add some images for visual stimulation. Helps encapsule the story imo. :)
Humans eat meat. Get over it. At least it’s a humane killing as opposed to how the meat industry abuses and kills animals to to package meat in a supermarket. Don’t act like you’ve never eaten meat at least once in your life.
Story 3, isn't hunting illegal in Glacier National Park? Also, wolves dont bother humans and bears only attack when they feel threatened or surprised and usually not to kill, but maim and run off.
The guy that was mauled by the grizzly seemed to have been injured seriously enough from the bear attack where he ought to have been hospitalized for abt 1-2 weeks.
More reasons to stay inside ;^)

Wolves will circle a group of adults hunting, but not necessarily attack. You see wolves often in MT, they arent as rare of a sight as other places. I've lived in Montana my whole life and worked at Glacier Park. And also, you are not allowed to hunt in Glacier National Park, it is not legal.
that whole story was bullshit lol, if that bear was gonna attack it would've done so the moment it saw them lol
Ty for keeping me awake while I complete my hw! Always look forward to your uploads! 🖤💀🖤
Narrorator: don't think this is an actual thing. People don't just disappear in National Parks
David politis: hold my beer!
Exactly!...Where has he been?

My family and I are from Maine, most of my family and I still live here. My brother moved to Montana for a few years years ago, Bozeman specifically, and when he came back, he was never the same. I don't know what happened out there, but I certainly miss my brother as he used to be. Montana is beautiful and I envy some of his time there, but he's definitely a shell of who he used to be.
Sending hugs your way 💚
Awesome stories! First time I'd heard any of these stories.
I hate "hunters " who get a kick out of maiming and killing animals and fail to understand that animals kill to survive, and not for enjoyment. They are why animals don't trust any humans.
Its really hard to scream when a 100lb cat has its mouth around your throat suffocating you...
Great stories! Perfect listening material while camping!!
Love these stories. Can't get enough of them.
As someone who plans to work in a national park, this is a perfect video topic
The one about Arkansas was nice. I live there and I’ve gone hiking around most of the forests and parks we have here.
It’s a beautiful place, but we’re allowed to shoot or stab an animal that’s attacking us. Cops are(usually) on the side of “well you were defending yourself and they weren’t paying enough attention to such a clearly dangerous animal”.
I have been away for a while. This was a good one!
The last story what was the kid doing out byhimself.?
Not existing, because the story was probably not real.
Probably? Definitely not real. Absurd, suspension of disbelief is one thing… that, was another.
Wow, I just listened to the whole thing! Scary stuff, Subscribed👍👍😁
Thanks Joel I love this!
The first story. :( I knew someone who died that way. Hearing that story creeped me out in an entirely different way ....
Your outros never fail to make laugh and I appreciate the levity they bring
Thank you ❤
Thanks for the upload, it helped me sleep tonight.
Good stories, some horrific, but I fall asleep listening to them.
I'm big fan of your work
Story 3: wolves aren't a natural predator of humans and kill by going for the throat.
Yes. A wolf will choke you out before eating. A bear will just tear off what it wants.
I love all of your stories.. but the national park ones are my fave! X
Perfect timing as usual ❤❤
Maybe Bigfoot was a fellow Cardinal fan, also thinking he/it would assist, & talk about the game. You will never know now
@@natas3.14 I am so sorry that I did not go back.
It's a good thing the OP in the first story took all the requisite courses to be a park ranger even though it's never something they thought they'd do with their life! That environmental science degree and what not came in handy.
Love this guy
Very interesting stories Let's Read! thanks :)
Bear spray is intense.
I wanted to see how far it would spray.
I checked the wind direction, but that wasn't fool proof. Lol
We didn't even breathe in that much and it was like suffocating needle lungs. It was hilarious.
The spray actually went really really far.
It works!
And now I'm onto the story from Acadia national park here in Maine... Always creepier when it's in your state! 😍
Let’s Read uploads:
LETS FUCKINNG GOOOOOOOO!
As always great job
I like the narration. Soothing voice. Comfortable listen. Just wish you would add some images for visual stimulation. Helps encapsule the story imo. :)
I guess the hunters found out the terror of being the prey. Too bad it didnt change anything
Humans eat meat. Get over it. At least it’s a humane killing as opposed to how the meat industry abuses and kills animals to to package meat in a supermarket. Don’t act like you’ve never eaten meat at least once in your life.
I listen to so many creepypastas, that sometimes I forget that they're true, lol.
EARLY SQUAD I LOVE YOU LETS READ!!!!!!!!
Story 3, isn't hunting illegal in Glacier National Park? Also, wolves dont bother humans and bears only attack when they feel threatened or surprised and usually not to kill, but maim and run off.
I live In a town close to it so this story made me perk up. Never been to the park and I'm not sure I want to go
Very nicee, even tho I fall asleep at like story 4 everytime lol. Keep up dude
Does anyone else fall asleep to this ???
The guy that was mauled by the grizzly seemed to have been injured seriously enough from the bear attack where he ought to have been hospitalized for abt 1-2 weeks.
I listen to these when I went on a road trip from London to Scotland
Love your stories 🤗🤗🤗
Jaguars in Texas? I don't think so, and neither does Google lol
