I bought the dust covers for my Throne of glass series from Acrylipics, gorgeous… I would love to buy the stenciled edges edition someday though because they too are so gorgeous. 🥰
I'm glad you said that about not reading Assassins Blade first. I read the first novella and was soooooo bored that I gave up! I guess I need to go back and start with ToG.
YAS! OMG the novellas are SO borning especially if you haven't read at least Books 1-3 in TOG as you have no idea why any of it matters and don't know how amazing Calaena is. If you do go back, start with TOG for sure and you can even skip Assassins Blade if novellas are not something you typically enjoy. You won't be missing out on anything as all the important info you'll learn in the main part of the series anyways 💕
I'm very inconsistentk on how I collect books. Sometimes, I don't care that they look alike as long as I have it, but sometimes I NEED them to be pretty and match. But I'll totally get a one off if that's the only one that has been printed specially. Haven't read any of SJM but those were pretty books. My fav part is that the spines make a picture. I love when a whole series flows together like that.
Lol, I think us book hoarders/dragons are all over the place with how we collect books. And the NEED to have them be pretty and matchy-match is so understandable. But yes, sometimes if there is only one that is printed specially we gotta have it regardless. I totally get it! And the spines of a book series all coming together to make a picture is absolute magic! It is literally the prettiest thing on the shelves, love it!!! If you are ever interested in reading SJM, for you since I know you're not terrible interested in romance, I would actually suggest picking up TOG instead of ACOTAR. While TOG has romance in it, it is not the main focal point of the plot and I consider TOG straight up fantasy and not romantasy. But of course you don't ever need to read SJM in your life, just a suggestion if you ever do want to try her 💖
@@nikkilovesbooks Thanks for the advice! I do wonder if the hype for her is accurate or not so having that info really does help and I'll have to add TOG onto my TBR...which is infinite at this point, let's just be honest! lol!
@@LJG7654 Of course and I totally understand the sketisim. I absolutely LOVE SJM but I also know that she is not gonna be everyone's cup of tea. I think like JK Rowling, she has a wonderful imagination, her writing is very enjoyable and specifically digestible. I think she does a great job of making fantasy consumable by the masses, so die-hard fantasy readers who enjoy Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Le Guin, etc. may not like her as much because her writing may seem more basic like Rowling's. And yes, I'd believe both of our TBRs are infinite, there are just too many books to read and for some reason we have to do other things like work, eat, sleep, instead of reading!
That is absolutley fair. As you even saw with TOG, the books get bigger as the series progresses (like Harry Potter) so I understand the intimidation, I'm sure a lot of readers feel that way! 💕
Aw I am so sorry for your mom and for you that you have to see a loved one struggle with that. Thank you! I am really hoping that it is something easy and overall benign but I also know the reality can be something that is chronic and will be life altering. Hope your mom is doing as well as she can be 🙏
Beautiful books ❤ Hope you feel better soon
Thank you! 💕

Love that Acrylipics has the dust covers as an option to buy! I hope that you are able to get the stenciled edges edition someday as well!!! 🥰

@@nikkilovesbooks I still am in disbelief that reading isn't a valid job. I mean, how else are those reviews going to exist? Right? lol!
@@LJG7654 😂
Are they going to have the rest of the series in the collector’s edition?
I haven't read through e of glass yet. I liked acotar but the books were so long that I am intimidated by Sarah j Maas ' books now
