My oldest girl was 8 y.o. and my youngest son was 6 years old, i used to go inside my closet and just cried my heart out of pain of losing my other half, my angel, my best friend. I feel so empty and alone. The love of my life passed away the day before Thanksgiving. I am struggling to find any purpose or drive or desire to do... anything. I often find myself praying to God, asking him to take me anytime now. I struggle wanting to remain on this earth, because it feels like the other half of my soul is not here on Earth. Half of me is here, and the other half is up there. We were two, and then we became one. Without him, I feel like half of a person. God put this incredible man in my life and now that incredible man isn't here anymore, it is hard to breathe and I cry every day. Anywhere I go, I can barely hold back the tears. I walk this Earth, crying, and I feel like an empty body.
I have dated people in your exact situation. Don't do it! We will never measure up to your "perfect" dead husband's "character". Go buy an electric toy and dream on if you can't handle a real man who's here in the land of the living.
My husband passed away 22 Nov 2021. We were married 34 yrs and were only 54 yrs old. I keep feeling how can I be whole when God says we become one when we marry. Half of me died when he died. I feel the same way I did that very day. My grief is still the same a yr and half later.

I am a widow twice losing two husbands is devastating. It has been two years since my last husband passed. I live in a small country town. I have one sister here we are close. The community, pastors, and churches do not reach out to widows or widowers. It is a lonely life of continuous living with no communication of others. I spend my days and nights alone praying for a real Christian man to develop a friendship with. God is what holds me together in my life of loneliness and despair. God does have a heart for widows and there are specific requirements for widows as well. I am a widow and I was a young widow in the church according to scripture, but the church does not honor scripture the way God intended. Yet, God has provided for me even before i knew God's heart concerning widows. This is a blessing to hear that something like this is going on in a church. As a young widow I was always afraid to express need due to everyone not being in church for the right reasons and falling prey to someone or something, but God has provided for me.

This sermon has really blessed me. I lost my husband last year in November. My inows reslly mistreated me. They threatened abused me and blamed me for the death. They mourned calling me names "witch, illuminati, killer to mention but afew. Thank God bishop and church members stood bymy side.. the police intervened to cool down the situation so tgat i burry my husband. It was terrible. I woshed my husband would wake up and just tell them a word but it was in vain. They all left after burial and we only remained along with my children and my friends who had escorted me for burial in the village. They disowned me clearly on a broad daylight. Friends keep me in your prayers. I feel so heavy my my heart. sometimes i shed tears alone i walk crying with unanswered questions. Iwishef my parents were alive. I wouldn't , they wouldn't allow this to happen to me. But i have now encouragement.
What a fabulous ministry! I am a new widow. My husband passed 2months ago, today. The grief is raw and intense. Sometimes I feel unable to breathe. I have a daughter and 2 young granddaughters that keep a check on me. I also have a granddaughter we had raised from about 11 that also calls almost daily. She has a one year old that’s her primary focus. There are a lot of things that is now my sole responsibility that wasn’t before. The upkeep and repairs on the house. The maintenance of the car. Yesterday I paid out $545 on repairs/maintenance on that cars brakes and rotors. I don’t expect someone to keep me up, advice in this unknown territory would have been helpful. I don’t know of any programs or ministry that is dedicated to seeing after widows and orphans. Even as direct that God is with His instructions related to this group. I just don’t understand why no one seems to care.
my heart goes out to you...lost my husband too. and its been over a year now...its a roller coaster ride but God has been faithful. There is a blessing even in this painful situation...i cant complain to God cause He is a great provider though there are times that i complain about not having my husband...but its amazing how God guides and gives wisdom...He is in the business of protecting us wisdows...trust in the Lord. 3 weeks ago i had a vision while i was praying to God. My husband of 47 years passed away a year and a half ago. It’s very difficult for one thing leave a hearing problem l can’t hear that good on the phone with all these recordings they have on they’re really muffled . Now with COVID l can’t hear people with masks on. This is the worst time to be a widow it’s very lonely because most things are shut down

Never-married single feel the same way. It can be a deep grief. But sometimes our grief is not validated. At least you get validation. And at least you have the beautiful memories.
I am here after my beloved passed away on 13 January 2023 saving our son from the lake; I am broken and have been walking around aimlessly . So very lost and no hope. Please help me YAHUAH.
I have absolutely no sympathy for the widow that I dated for many years--she stayed with her husband for decades (mistake) while he went out with dozens of women behind her back, until his death. Now she treats all of her "guys" like garbage because of it. She does not know how to accept a man who treats her right, and her overbearing family doesn't want her with anyone, while her former co-workers do their best to place her with "everyone" instead of encouraging her to stay "with the one person who stuck with her through everything". What a sad life.

3 weeks ago i had a vision while i was praying to God. And that's when i realized that even in my brokenness God can still use me to give hope to other widows in our community....ask God what His will and purpose for your situation and He will surely show you. just be patient Rebecca. He loves you.

My husband of 47 years passed away a year and a half ago. It’s very difficult for one thing leave a hearing problem l can’t hear that good on the phone with all these recordings they have on they’re really muffled . Now with COVID l can’t hear people with masks on. This is the worst time to be a widow it’s very lonely because most things are shut down

when my husband dies I really wanted to die, I did not express it to anyone but I hoped I could go silently in my sleep. as days passed I felt I was being selfish and what of my little kids, I could not think of anyone who would love them the way I could so I asked God to keep me so just I could raise him. sometimes I really can't breath when I think of his death, I instantly become asthmatic. however, the Lord is keeping us and he also left us a platform to make a living from.
Am also a widow is been 5months I lost my beloved husband I really want to let go and serve God, doing exploit for God but just can't believe that my love is no more, he use to take care of the widow in my church and helped the orphans I don't no why he have to die untimely living me with 5kids in my early 30s I need healing my heart is broken

I have absolutely no sympathy for the widow that I dated for many years--she stayed with her husband for decades (mistake) while he went out with dozens of women behind her back, until his death. Now she treats all of her "guys" like garbage because of it. She does not know how to accept a man who treats her right, and her overbearing family doesn't want her with anyone, while her former co-workers do their best to place her with "everyone" instead of encouraging her to stay "with the one person who stuck with her through everything". What a sad life.
