Hi Andy, I'm an Olympic Rifle and Pistol Athlete with USA Shooting. I live and train in Los Angeles, CA and everyone I know is currently in France shooting in the Olympics. A lot of Olympic shooting athletes are watch enthusiasts . I wore my Speedy during Olympic Trials and we even had a watch meet-up at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. If you're ever in Los Angeles please reach out and we'll give you a tour of our Shooting Training Facility. We're already getting ready for the 2028 Olympic Summer Games.
Welcome back Andy! yeah as much as i love those glass box Tags, It'd be a 38mm Chronomaster any day. I love the simple black dial with the bit of tobacco colored patina on the indices and hands. Glad you all had a great holiday.
Great content as always Andy and I’m glad you had a good trip to Florida without any of the drama of the last one. As a Kiwi living in Tampa, Florida I’ve always felt safe here, but equally I was in San Diego a few weeks ago and felt pretty safe walking around there as well. I have the Planet Ocean Deep Black ETNZ, it’s a beast of a watch and I just love the colours, and of course I have to support the team! Stay healthy and keep the videos coming
Hey Andy, glad you enjoyed your trip in the states. I've always wanted to go to St. Augustine because of its historical significance being one of the oldest cities in the country. You're right about Southern states being safer than the northern ones because of open carry. I live in Chicago and it's dangerous to go to downtown at night. Citadel, the largest hedge fund in the world, recently announced they were relocating to Florida because their employees felt unsafe leaving work. I'm leaving soon myself.
The aqua terra is a really nice watch, but I wish it was mostly brushed. The white dial and green teak dial 38mm with the rubber strap is probably next on my list.
Didnt wear your dive watch in a water park lol, does tthe oyster make that much of a different ? my DJ on a jubilee 126334 wears smaller than my 40mm watches .
You hit on several items that I think deserve comment. 1. The size of the Datejust 41: I agree. I sold mine off. But isn't it a statement about Omega really, that you can pull off a Planet Ocean (43.5 I'm assuming) and the Datejust feels too big? I sold off 2 Planet Oceans but I think I'm buying another...just a great watch. 2. Florida being safer than California etc.: I've lived in the states...Missouri (St Louis) all my life but have traveled all around. It's fairly safe everywhere really, but I'd probably be careful in New York and the largest cities with significant urban populations. If the cost of living is high, it does make people desperate. 3. I bought the tag glass box with the Panda dial. I love it. I know what you mean about the finish, however, it's a very very solid watch, amazingly good size, and the movement is deadly accurate. They're plentiful, so you can save money on the aftermarket (I bought at my Rolex AD). 4. Nothing on the Rolex AD shelves. The dealers here have ample supply and they WILL sell off the shelf (but they let you think you're getting something special and you are, LOL). Keep up the good work.
Glad you had a good time. I grew up in miami and have lived through out the state. It’s not true what he said because he has to paint an image for high end clients. Everything from Palm Beach south would be would get you on the wrong end of a gun if you’re wearing a luxury watch.
Watches & guns sounds patriotic, too: we just wanted to quickly introduce ourselves: we are Harris watches from Germany. We have just started... our watches are probably unlike anything you might have ever heard of or seen before. If you share our kind of humor, that is! We are into music and are openly sarcastic. Regards.
£8k is a lot for the Zenith but I get the feeling there's a deal to be had? I tried a white dial Chronomaster Sport on in WofS in Jan this year & as soon as I said I liked it the sales assistant was telling me he would speak with his manager about a discount. Had to stop him in his tracks & say I'd only got the call & picked up my Sub a week earlier so unless he was going to throw 50% off my way he was wasting his time 😅
I think times are tough atm. People are put off asking as companies like WoS have been holding the line the last few years. When the offer comes that quick, there’s always more to go.

Sure will. Thx.
Great to hear you had a great time in the States.
Love the channel 👍👍👍
Love that Tag Heuer. Glad the ticker is working well.
Love the TH Glassbox as well. With a little discount, i could not pass it up.
Great video Andy always better the second time round 👍⭐️.
Went to Florida often. I love it, it reminds me of Central Africa climate wise. Good health wishes to you.

CA is a big place, it depends on where you are, I see Rolex all day, every day here and no one gives it a second thought.

When it comes to fine imitation watches, amzwatch delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Nice video Andy.
What do you use to time your watches and see how accurate they are? Health to you and your loved ones.
I use the WatchTracker app.

I tried the glassbox carerra. Lovely watch but it should be priced around £3500

@@SaintWill70 I wasn’t referring to the dial. Omega’s do a better job of wrapping around the average sized wrist. Rolex not so much.
Glad your recent trip was better than the first.

Hopefully my sense of humour comes over. It’s dry and dead pan, not for everyone. Happy to collaborate if you have a story to tell. Drop me an email.
@@TheEnglishWatch We just did that.
Lol Florida folks like to shit on California, but if you come here, you can spot Rolex everywhere. I saw three Daytonas in kids playground last week.
Every one talks shit on California, even Californians.

WoS had 40% off the chronomaster original panda dial on the website back in March. Plus I saw 20% off all grandseiko in December online.
