Totally right. Even the 1895 Panhards were years ahead of the Ford T, featuring s Clutch pedal and a front-mounted radiator.. And the 1907 Renaults, being raced in Rhode Island. However, such cars were for extremely rich people. Ford' s merit was the capacity to make cheap, reliable cars.
