"He fell down a flight of stairs, a _few_ times... " 😏👏👏 Go Nyla.
That was instant karma
Why am I not surprised!
She’s great 😂
@@arnavsrivastava2003 I think you're getting karma and revenge mixed up 😂
@@camerontyler1174 You're Funny 😂😂
i love getting to see the soft side of harper 🥺
Yet we still see a bit of that tough side of her.
The link between their experiences is the 'blaming themselves' and shame that comes from being victimized after drinking. Yes, one was nearly murdered, and the other one was raped, but they both started the same way. This is part of their many conversations where Harper takes Chen under her wing as a fellow female police officer. So much of their work is about keeping your guard up and staying 'on', so it is an especially heartbreaking issue.
Have you seen season 4 ep 5.?
"he fell down a flight of stairs a few times.. had to take a disability pension."
THATS OUR GIRL
Yes. "Fell".
@Zayd Marcelo Lmao get off my comments section
I love Chen's reaction to that
Fell or pushed that is the question....
@@nicholaswalsh4462 I'm sure he thought he "felled" the first time, the other times, who know
WOW! Just... wow! This is SOOO damn GOOD! It's in every aspect (the cop story, the human interest, the woman-to-woman, the in charge person - the subordinate and so on) BELIEVABLE! And... darn good acting ladies. The emotions, everything. The best.
I remember watching the sewer scene in S2 E7 with these two and it was incredible. Cool to watch the development. Love Harper's actor
Harper isn't cruel, just tough. And that shell is fading away over time so we get to see more of these moments over time.
The way Chang reacted to “when your undercover” was the exact way I react when I joke with my mother but she say “when I was your”
*Chen
@@Unversed333 thanks
Interesting. The dialog gives insight on how women need to be on guard. When I was younger I knew men who'd take advantage of women in Nyla's situation.
Aaand the moral is: don't mess with Nyla when she's been drinking. You go girl.
And believe Lucy when she says you are going to die
a lot of people dislike nyla, but i honestly love her. she's relatable and makes mistakes which is something that's shown a lot less in the other character in this show (other than the rookies) and she's a great friend and team member
Interesting that Harper said that she shut down after her experience, and couldn't bring herself to even tell Donovan about what happened. And she said it happened a long time ago, possibly before the birth of Lila. Perhaps this was a contributing factor that led to them splitting.
Detective harper and tim Bradford are the top in this series badass cops ❤️👌👌👌😍
im so late but i also love Lopez
@@Bixby_1 Chen's the real badass. Best shot in the station, good UC, has been through the wringer and just keeps going!
And Lopez don’t forget Lopez! And Chen along the way too?! Shiiiiiied
@@nobodybutsunder offffffffff 😍 course 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 she's the best
Harper got wavesss???!!! I didn’t even notice until now sheesh
It's natural.
Mekia Cox s role as Harper:
Truly a brilliant, ingenuitive, very well trained and skilled actress next to her abilities as a Model and as a Dancer.
Best was her introduction episode as Nolan´s new training officer. Her versatility in the different scenes of the episode had been breathtaking. - that has turned me into a Meka Cox -Fan
watching also GERMAN cop-TV series I wished the producers and directors would let act a female actress in shows like GROSSSTADTREVIER, NOTRUF HAFENKANTE oder WAPO DÜSBUrG
act like Mekia Cox in ROOKIES but it seems the times are not ripe for that.
Hey Robin from Chicago Med!👋👋
YOUR RIGHT
She has that sassy attitude in both. Like she is top dog
OMG yess SO TRUE
I started watching the rookie before I watched Chicago med and when her character came on I was hey it’s Harper.
Harper in season 2 had a lot of moments where i didn’t like her but i saw the potential for improvement. Her in season 3 and 4 got better for sure but when she became a detective again partnering with angela that’s when she truly won me over as one of my favorites on the show
Ahhh, det. Harper. Tough as nails, but inside? A princess heart! 😁
Very true....she is a dedicated tough woman. But a queen deep down like you said.
Harper here reminds me of Benson from SVU. Imagine if there was a crossover. That would be fun
2:10 He walked into my knife 10 times.
lol
Chicago!!!
He had it coming. He had it coming all alooong.😂
Reminds me of that scene from Sherlock.
"And exactly how many times did he fall out the window?"
"Oh it's all a bit of a blur detective inspector, I lost count."

Lesson of the story is don't lay a finger on Ms. Hudson.
You see Judge, i was pealing an apple with my army knife and he slipped on one of the skin pieces that were on the floor and fell right on top of my knife… yes yes sir it hapened 5 times in a quick sucsesion.
Wait so the episode is already out!!!!

Really wish I was able to watch the rookie in Australia
Try a website called soap2day.to it's free and I have never had any issue with it and it works great just a few ads every once in a while
Same with fmovies.tf

First season is on seven plus
I am not sure how but I live in NZ and somehow we got Hulu and I can watch it, I think it might of been because we lived in Hong Kong and got it then and we got to keep it but I am not sure but it is sooooo good
That was cool
Hardened beautiful woman....what could go wrong?!
i don’t understand what happened to nyla harper and her case officer. can someone please explain to me what happened to her??
he raped her
Yea he "fell" down a flight of stairs
What episode?
Wait what episode is this I’m not sure if I remember this
Season 2 episode 12 lol
I really don't think he "fell" on his own accord.
I think that was heavily implied by how she said it.
It's a joke
@@Unversed333 Evidently he "fell" enough times he had to retire and go on disability.
@@somebodycookme_eggs No sh-- Sherlock.
What did it mean? What happened at the bar?
Did u see when she was back back ,was pregnant then hormones kick in it was so funny. Dialogs changed
Small point that has nothing to do with what Nyla said, but, just curious: why does everyone call Nyla a detective? She is a Corporal in a uniform. She's not a detective! Confused....
When is it ever said that she was in the army? She was undercover, but not the army. Are you confusing her with Bailey?
@@dragon_toad No, I am not confused. I spent 26 years in the Army. I know Nyla is not in the Army. But she IS wearing Corporal stripes and she is in uniform. Detectives usually don't wear uniforms. So, I was wondering why they call her a detective. If she is a detective, she should be in civilian clothes.
@@joehamlet7576Nyla becomes a detective later on in the series
@@joehamlet7576 , she is a detective, she just wanted a more stable job, so she took the job of TO, but is not demoted, so she keeps her title, but wears uniform as the training officer
@@joehamlet7576 Detective is a rank track in the LAPD. Harper is a Detective I (two stripes and one lozenge) which is equivalent to a Police Officer III (Two stripes). Detectives are also sworn police officers who can also be assigned to uniformed roles.

What happened to her
I don’t get it
Wait I dont get it what happened to her????
Ni Ku she was raped by her partner
@@keithfernandes2694 Damn
They_Call_Me_ Pebbles Yeah pretty sure that’s not what happened based off the conversation. She was plastered and took advantage of her, someone she was suppose to trust.
They_Call_Me_ Pebbles Would you lie about being rapped?
They_Call_Me_ Pebbles Yes, but until it’s been proven otherwise, it’s important to listen and support victims. Just because you didn’t experience or see it, does not mean it did not happen.
I don’t get it what happened to her
I don't believe in her .she just making sure that Lucy get comfortable and work on thing.
How did you guys come to the conclusion from this conversation that she was raped?
I didnt understand
She got really drunk and trusted that her case officer would have her back. Instead, he took advantage of her when she was too drunk to do anything about it.
Good, but it's annoying when they badically make every character have this happen to them.
Que want when could policia when you
So what happened? Was she raped or something?
What are you going policia estoy police chase cops policia estoy police chase when going when you want going when you going when
Que want LAPD you going Cops when you going when you going police officers when you going when could this this need when going when you would when you going
i love this show but i have allot of mixed feelings over this scene. I mean. Did they both drink? did they both get wasted? If they did then its not exactly the guys fault. Its both of them. Your guilt is because you got drunk and slept with another man. And did she just confess to attempted murder? did she push him down the stairs? For sleeping with him? She is comparing Chen's abduction and almost dying to her having to do the walk of shame because she couldn't hold her liquor? I may be reading this wrong but it sounds like that.
@@calebbradford7906 yeah but she was very vague about it. to the point that it seemed like she was hiding details. i mean obviously she wasn't going to be full transparency with Chen but you cant pretend that people don't get drunk and have sex without thinking it through. That could've been what happened and since she was married and felt like a cheater she projected her anger and kicked the dude down the stairs witch is not at all justice. In a time where me too exists, she would've simply used her Detective experience, taken evidence by reporting it the same freaking day, have a toxicology test on him and her, examine her body for prints, prove he wasn't as drunk as he said he was and have him in jail. But she didnt because she didn't want the husband to find out. sounds sus. I hope they touch this again and sheds light on the subject
@@Paladinson she wasn't completely transparent with Chen but that's to be expected since they don't know each other very well. As for whether or not it was rape I think it was. She was under a lot of pressure in her undercover work, hence the drinking. She clearly didn't think that something like that would happen with another cop, someone she trusted. Plus, he probably knew she was married since he was her case worker. Even if she was flirting with him that on it's own should be enough deterrent to back off. As for her detective experience yes, she could have filed a report but she likely wouldn't have been taken seriously. Obviously it happened several years ago and she also mentions that she didn't deal with it right away which could be why she never reported it because all physical evidence would be gone.
@@belindawong4332 Yeah there are allot of things to take into account that is true. But Given that she has shown time and time again that she doesn't like to take blame in her mistakes it somewhat came out as if she and her case worker got drunk and had sex and she felt such shame over it that the only way to process that guilt easier was to tell herself it was rape. I tell you this because I have heard of so many cases where women hook up with men because they both drank allot and then the dude was accused of rape even though they both were drunk. It's even worse when my black brother get accused of it and are found guilty with no evidence. But I love this show. I'm sure this will be picked up in a later season.
@@Paladinson You make some good points but I simply don't agree. From what little information we've been given I still believe it was rape. I can see your train of thought and it does make sense. Hopefully this will be touched upon again in more depth.
@@belindawong4332 Yes, i do too. For now I'm looking forward to seeing how the Criminal Profiling Ark ends in season 3. I'm really into this.
