I'm so proud to have met Barnesy. He is truly worthy of the title of Legend.
I like the fact that he always goes hard no matter how big or small the crowd is!! Hes unreal!
Even funnier I was born and raised in karawara with a family who loved Jimmy and Holden's...in his shutting down the town...love you Jimmy you legend...your music got me through my Hardest times...words of wisdom X X X
What was the funnier part?
You are a awesome man Jimmy Barnes. I love all your music. Your music makes me happy just like your brother Swanee. I listen to your's and Swanee's music every day.
We are blessed because of your music
Jimmy rocks..hes a brilliant writer,love his books
This guy is a rock machine.
Canadian/Scotsman Johnny Reid and Jimmy could do a great version of Mustang Sally..It was a awesome experience living in Australia in the 90's. Listening to Jimmy's music added to the event. Thanks the post of 60 Minutes good to see things going well for him and his family.
Fantastic. Brings back so many great memories of living in Australia. "Working Class Man".........
Jane is such a lovely person.
One of the greatest singers ever
Dibbo 92 I totally agree
My favorite part is where he goes.... AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Jimmy Barnes is a legend
Still got a bit of Glasgow in the voice.
Jimmy's a great guy, deserves any and everything, simple as that.
Read his book. What an EYE OPENER. How you made a success out of your life from where you came from is a huge achievement. Best of luck to you!
Jimmy Barnes is real a Legend... the rising star of the East...
Ill never stop loving u x sing a few songs,,,thats what scotts do isnt it........ xxx I landed in Brisbane.........life was not much better.......
its now 2018...... seen your books n movies.... ....life goes on doesnt it......you can come ride my horse at Hervey Bay if your interested............. His Name is Renaud..
I recently saw Jimmy and Joe Bonamassa doing a cover of Deep Purple's Lazy from their Machine Head album. As a fan of Deep Purple since about 1970 I have to honestly say that Jimmy sings the song miles better than Gillan even when he was in his prime.
AHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHH
Here We Go Steelers!
@real SteelerzFan... are you not big enough??? lmao!!

Love Jimmy Barnes
Love from Melbourne!!
He will never give up singing
But America knows him as the AHHHHH Cowboy guy
Some of us see him as the guy who sung 'Good Times' with Michael Hutchence.
Nope lost boys good times lol
Great singer

I like how the journalist is trying to be all straight-laced and then cracks up at 6:50
"Och aye the noo". Jimmy Australian Music Royalty.
I wonder if that a Genuine SLR5000 Torana Jimmy Barnes owns ?
Aaaahhhh!
Jimmy Barnes is the greatest rock n roll performer of all time he is every bit as good as Bruce Springsteen Bob Seeger zz top lynyrd skynard the rolling stones just to name a few people in america need to discover him like I did and they will feel the same way
no
with 1 difference.....bruce and bob can sell world wide
His early voice reminds me of John Mellencamp when he was younger.
He caught my attention in the "Big Enough" video. I've been looking at old music videos and I really like his voice (didn't realize he sang with Tina Turner in "Simply The Best" either! He has a rod stewart, mellencamp, springsteen, hard rock vibe that I really like. I agree with you completely about Americans needing to discover his music.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Yeah Jimmy is spending his 40th anniversary with Jane here in WA AT ASCOT ...X X X THEY MET THE DAY LOVE OF MY LIFE WAS BORN 11TH NOVEMBER 1979 FUNNY ENOUGH HE LIVES IN ASCOT WERE HIS CONCEPT IS ON 10TH NOVEMBER 2019

To be fair, JB's best songs are also not related Cold Chisel... So...
Lol my Nephew said whats wrong with his voice and it triggered me
Lmao i know right , bloody kids these days
no wonder they sell double-plus sized bottles here in the u.s. now! ;0 then the family tree... ;0 'oooh, you're rock'n' roll lifestyle!!' ;0....
"Belting out hits from the early 70's"? (This is at the 18 second mark of this "profile" SPOILER ALERT - Jimmy Barnes didn't have hits in the early 70's).
That is true, as a solo artist, but lets look at Cold Chisel. They played live mid 70's, but didn't release any albums/singles till 1978, surprisingly Khe Sahn only got to #40 in the charts though. Cheap Wine in 1980 was their first top ten entry at #8. So really, you are correct on calling BS on 60 Minutes ;)
Okay, he says he loves his wife, but....according to his autobiography (Working Class Man) he was often unfaithful, and inflicted upon her and the family years of alcoholism and drug abuse. Selfish 'love'... :-/
Like she said, they were interviewed on a good week...
@@ericross5048 Yep. I suppose any relationship is a mixture of good and not so good....
.... unless you get lucky 😁
Janelle W of course! I’d like to point out that Jane and Jimmy have one thing in common- They each have a step dad who loved them more than than their real dad. Jane’s stepdad married her mom and accepted the 3 kids, showed them love etc. Jimmy’s step dad did the same thing. Perhaps this explains how she can be so accepting of Jimmy’s other kids.
Probably got better after the miserable middle age... I guess and hope...
GO JIMMY
