I love salsa so much. My entry into "the lasso" is this -
Crossover break to Lady's L, then an outside UAT, and then the lasso itself - which is a bit like an International Rumba style Rope Spin.
Then I would end it with an R Side Opening Out Break (sometimes called the first part of the "Exhibela tres veces" figure), and then, "your" cross-body-lead ending.

My only criticism is the intense counting sometimes. It makes the lessons more stressful and its harder to focus on the actual steps. 🙂

I do prefer it with the counting as this helps me with the timing against the eventual music and know what steps are with what beat.
