My life , my favourite band , my friends , my teenage , my first love , my first work , my everyday , all goes joint to this band and their records... VERY HAPPY WITH THIS VIDEO!! Everybody´s needs R´n´R (and more of this show , please)
That was a great show I came from Oakland to see them and they did not disappoint. the car show and the girls dressed up were a big plus see you there next year for sure.
Not sure - I tend to think not (if so, he put a switch in), though at one point he commented "the guitar is older than me" - so it was a '59. However - newer than 59 bridge... so...
He has another (almost identical) 59 that he plays all the time. I was just wondering if he broke out the other given the circumstances. I last saw him play it in 2011.
I know what you mean, and it is a slower tempo...but I don't think it was tired sounding or sluggish.....I still think it had "the feel"...I've seen other "older bands"...who do exactly what you describe.....they sound like they're in it for the paycheck and nothing else....but I wasn't sensing that here. I'd go and see them now in a heartbeat. (Saw them in 1984 and it was one of the more enjoyable shows I've ever been to)

Does anyone know if Setzer played his original 59 Gretsch with the hole on the upper right?

Jim Rafferty noop, the one you revering to, has a black middle bigsby. Not a Cadillac bigsby. A 59 nonetheless.
