today we are winterizing our pool 😢 season is over . i was actually surprised about how well solar covers work to keep ur pool temp up we were still using our pool as of last week . but we have temps coming low 30 s so it’s time to close it .
You're right about suring up forms so they don't give out during a pour. We were pouring an underpinning column under a building next to a high rise foundation we were building. During the pour the form let go and we had about 2 yards running out. The boss says go get that sign out on the road. Cut it down and bring it up here so we can fasten it to hold the concrete. We were working on Wisconsin Ave in DC at the city line where it turns into Bethesda. The sign was an 8 by 6 foot sign that stated entering the district of columbia. I've laughed over that for many years as this occurred in 1974. I can't remember whether something broke or a fastener let go. We solved the problem though. I suppose the district put up a new sign later.
@@John-jt8mo well when it comes right down to it, I had to create this forming system and learn myself because I couldn’t get enough information from any Concrete contractor. They either wouldn’t know or wouldn’t tell me. It’s all good man. I appreciate the interaction.

What do you mean by “contractors don’t want you to know?
Nothing negative just honestly curious 😅
