Both of the blouses look really beautiful on you. The scalloped detail is perfect and well worth the time you devoted to them. Cotton fabric is my preference to wear due to the high humidity we experience. Thank you for such a great review. Happy sewing, Rachel. 😂❤😂 🇦🇺 🪃
Just gorgeous….the Rosamund is a real work of art with all of the scallops etc All of your hard work and diligence has so paid off. Looks amazing on you… The Raida is also lovely too. Amazing job 👏👏👏👍💕🧵
I’m glad that you like the Rosamund because it looks fabulous on you! Both blouses are really pretty and your reviews are so informative. Thanks so much
Loved both blouses and the scalloped edge they looked great on you like the idea of a white one with embroidery on the collar for summer it would go with so many things you must be well chuffed with both take care
You and those blouses are adorable you are the best sales woman ever😂...I want both of them hihihi. Take good care It is freezing here in Montréal -20 celsuis😢
Both blouses are great. I just love the fabric choice and added details. When you are a tall girl it helps if you have a waist pulled in a bit because if it is straight up and down there is a lot of fabric hanging from the bodice area down to the hem. You definitely should make a couple more for the upcoming season.
Thank you for the tips on our double yolk and seeing the pattern through the make…and the tip of facing the ruffles / collar for a better finish. These are great reminders that I will consider on my future makes. Of course….it only comes with experience that you give yourself the opportunity to learn and then teach this finishing “pro” tips😍. Luv your channel Rachel😘
Love your blouses and fabric choices for both...I would love to try the Rosemund ... but as a lady of ... shall we say of mature years..not sure I could pull it off so will have to have a think 🤔
Both blouses are lovely! I often turn blouse patterns into dresses but like you need waist definition so I add either a casing and drawstring or elastic but prefer a drawstring. A ruffle on the bottom adds to the boho vibe that I like.
Love the Raida blouse and the aesthetic of all the Madswick patterns. The website gives many helpful suggestions for the different pattern variations - I really appreciate a pattern that offers so many options. I did a double yoke and it gave a neat finish. I also chose long sleeves and agree with you on the depth of the tucks. Love your version and can see the elbow length version in my future!
You almost make me want to make that first blouse! Unfortunately I am a big girl and would probably not look good in such a flowy top. Yours is lovely and you look fabulous in both!
I really like both these blouses, especially the fabrics, although I prefer the Raida. I'd have to measure the pattern pieces and make a toile because I'm not keen on the oversize look that's popular at the moment. The Raida doesn't look particularly oversized on you though, Rachel.
Absolutely beautiful makes. Perfection 🎉. Both suit you so well. Thanks for your vlog
